Pole shift. What it is?

To explain this term, we use the real position of the North Pole in its current and past positions. For the South Pole, it is easy to imagine the construction in the central symmetry.

Everyone knows that the North Pole is located here, not far from Greenland.

Having been patient about the times and timing, let's get acquainted with the previous position of the North Pole, which was on the North American continent. The location was not determined by me, memocodohh, but all my independent research led to similar results. The more valuable this information is, since its reliability has been double-checked.

So, the previous actual, past position of the North Pole.

We will designate this position as "-1".

Let's mark the positions of the poles, past and present, and indicate the direction of the pole movement with a white arrow: the North Pole will "move" from position "-1" to position "0".
