Pole shift. What it is?
To explain this term, we use the real position of the North Pole in its current and past positions. For the South Pole, it is easy to imagine the construction in the central symmetry.
Everyone knows that the North Pole is located here, not far from Greenland.
We are accustomed to this position. Let's designate this position as "0", quoted zero. The exit point of the mental axis around which the Earth rotates, the geographic pole of the Earth. The rotation of the Earth from this angle is counterclockwise.
In this position, known to us, the North Pole (do not forget about the South) is not so long ago. By scientific standards - since yesterday.
Having been patient about the times and timing, let's get acquainted with the previous position of the North Pole, which was on the North American continent. The location was not determined by me, memocodohh, but all my independent research led to similar results. The more valuable this information is, since its reliability has been double-checked.
So, the previous actual, past position of the North Pole.
We will designate this position as "-1".
Let's also look at the rotation of the Earth in this case.
Very unusual. But so to speak - it's like saying nothing. Rave! No, not like that. RAVE!!! BREEDYATIN !!! - Now it looks like)) on your true feelings. While preserving the degree of emotions, we will not disregard the interest that many have already shown themselves to. Interest requires continuation, regardless of feelings, and this magazine, called "Pole Shift", will try to justify all the hopes of both critics and well-wishers.
Let's draw a straight line connecting the previous position with the current one.
Along this line, in the recent past, the movement (rotation) of the lithosphere. The mechanism of such movements will be verified in the journal, as well as the generally accepted model of the Earth's internal structure.
Let's popularize this mechanism with the orange. Let's mentally separate the zest of the fruit with its underlying white loose layer from the pulp - now the orange skin will be able to move freely in any direction, regardless of the core
Now you can repeat this thought experiment on the familiar earthly model. The "core" of the globe is also motionless here.
At any speed of movement at the joints (and not only), due to the inertia of the lithospheric plates, overvoltages arise, leading to the subsidence and rise of the earth's surface: the seabed can become land, and the mountains - the seabed.
Some areas may disappear altogether, as if they never happened, and new territories may appear. The rotation of the poles will be accompanied by almost ubiquitous earthquakes. The eruptions of old volcanoes and the appearance of new ones, hyperwind and, finally, the most dangerous phenomenon - the sea mudflow, rushing many hundreds and thousands of kilometers inland from the coast, washing away and filling up cubic kilometers of different-sized rocks - all these real dangers require careful study of the circumstances of the pole shift.
Let's continue.
Let's mark the positions of the poles, past and present, and indicate the direction of the pole movement with a white arrow: the North Pole will "move" from position "-1" to position "0".
This is how the movement looks for the poles. And for sushi - everything will happen in the opposite direction.
It's better to watch it in motion.
The day before.
The lithosphere moved. The oceans and seas cannot remain on their shores, and the water from the Arctic Ocean (I will keep all the current names for brevity) as a wall went to the coast, in the direction of the pole movement, to Siberia.
When moving forward, dry land seems to dive under the sea surface and water, by inertia, falls on it.
I used to call it water hammer. It is he who is the main danger for a number of territories. In the recent past, in the Northern Hemisphere, all the power fell on the Eurasian territory, primarily on the territory of Siberia.
Extending the white line connecting the poles, we get the equator of displacement, along which the speed and power of the water hammer is maximum. Accordingly, with distance from the equator of displacement, the power of the water hammer decreases in a quadratic (not linear) relationship. Gaul, for example, got a third of the Siberian capacities.
