The Russian Federation, from the moment of its formation after the collapse of the USSR, has never existed as an independent state. Since 1991, our life has rushed leaps and bounds and people simply did not have time to think: what kind of processes are going on in their native state? This understanding comes to us only now, after a quarter of a century. And the most important conclusion that suggests itself: we do not manage our lives. At all. Judge for yourself: in 25 years we have been transformed from citizens of a superpower into a beggar servitor of a gas pipe. Yes, we drive cars (the production of which, by the way, costs the West a penny) - we still have this luxury (and every year it is a great luxury for us). But we are forbidden to have good roads (all the ingredients of asphalt: sand, gravel and oil are free for the state, and the labor force is the cheapest in the world) (by whom and why?). Gasoline (it costs nothing in production and we have oil, fill up) is becoming more expensive for us all the time, regardless of whether oil is getting cheaper or not. All our food is produced on imported lines and from imported raw materials. All equipment in the fields is imported. All road equipment is imported. We fly Boeing and Airbus. Vegetables and fruits in stores are imported. The settlement and banking system of the Russian Federation is completely based on Western resources and technologies. For some reason, we were deprived of railway transport, which is why tens of thousands of imported heavy trucks are rushing along our terrible roads, killing people in road accidents and poisoning the air with exhaust gases. What do we have left of our own? Nothing. We do not produce ANYTHING that would make us an independent state. Weapon? Nobody is going to conquer us. WE DO NOT NEED ANYONE. So how did it happen and who is to blame? All of us, as indifferent and lazy citizens, not caring for the Fatherland? Or our rulers who do not care about their people?

I think that these questions can hardly be addressed to some powerful group of people ruling the world, and indeed to people in general. What is happening on our planet, and in the Russian Federation in particular, is beyond human competence. And this is very well illustrated by the example of GDP. In general, the head of our state is a source of invaluable information about how our world works. You just need to carefully observe what he says and does. He is allowed to do everything: the Olympics, Crimea is ours, the war in Syria, Donbass, a squabble with the West and be President for life. Except for one thing: a cannon shot to approach finance and the economy in general. Like Yeltsin in his time. We all remember his (Yeltsin) famous: "There will be no default!", And the very next day there was a default. That is why the numerous press conferences of our leader are so similar to a provincial theater.

Conclusions:

In 1991, the Creator (not people) curtailed a social project called the USSR as an alternative model for the development of human society. Since then, we have lived according to the Western model. Rather, we were thrown to the side of this model. All 150 million. We stand in confusion and swallow the dust from the western locomotive, which has gone far ahead, sparkling with lights. In fact, the West feeds us (not of its own free will, of course) as we deserve it. And, as it seems to me, they treat us too well.
