In the initial period of the Great Patriotic War, we lost thousands of aircraft. Of course, in the early days, many were destroyed at the airfields, but most were still killed in aerial combat. Where are their remains?
Yes, the fuselages burned down, or were used by local residents (in the case of metal sheathing), but the engine when it hits the ground goes a meter or more deeper. Thanks to the availability of metal detectors in recent years and the enthusiasm of search engines, there are dozens of such finds, but thousands of aircraft have died! And not only ours, but also German ones. And all of them were shot down in the densely populated western part of the USSR, where the fiercest battles took place.
A separate line in the history of the Second World War is a large-scale air war over the Kuban, where the initiative began to pass to our Air Force. Where are the traces of these battles? Where are the remains of the planes? And most importantly: where are the remains of German aircraft? After all, the Luftwaffe lost hundreds of aircraft in the sky of the USSR! Where are their engines?
And also, where are the remains of thousands of British and American aircraft that entered service with the Red Army through the Lend-Lease? The history of the Second World War is generally silent about these aircraft: After unloading in the ports of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk from the board of the Allied convoys, their path is mysteriously lost. Of all this air armada, we know only about ONE "Aircobra" on which Pokryshkin flew!
I live in the Kuban. I saw two T-34-76 on pedestals and one Il-2. On the rest there are only jet MIGs. Where did the thousands of Ilyushins, Yakovlevs, Lavochkins, Polikarpovs, Tupolevs and Petlyakovs go after the war? And also thousands of Lend-Lease Hurricanes, Aircobras, Spitfires, Douglases, Mitchells, Liberators, Bostons, Thunderbolts, etc.
All these tens of thousands of aircraft could not evaporate. But they are not, like a cow licked. Instead of them, we have immediately, miraculously appeared jet MiGs, Su and Yaki. There are no aircraft cemeteries like the American ones, only a few copies in the aviation museum, and even then only a pitiful part of the brands and models is presented.
The Americans, too, after the end of World War II, mysteriously disappeared hundreds of the legendary B-17 and P-38 and P-51. They are not in the cemeteries of aircraft, although the Americans are not an example of us zealous people.
There are no documents, photographs or films about the conservation or disposal of combat aircraft. As there are no eyewitnesses to that. Historical science, like a mouthful of water, typed about this fact, as if it does not exist.
Conclusion:
The mysterious instant disappearance after the end of the war of thousands of Soviet fighters and bombers, that is, completely of the USSR Air Force, can be explained by one thing: THERE WERE NEVER HAPPENED! How there was no Great Patriotic War!
