Free access is the reference electronic version of the 90-volume collected works of one of the greatest writers in the world. You can download for free all, even the rarest works of Leo Tolstoy, as well as his letters and diaries.
As part of the crowdsourcing project "All Tolstoy in One Click", ABBYY specialists in partnership with Wexler have created 761 e-books: for each volume and for individual works. For the electronic version of the archive to appear, more than 3,000 volunteers read more than 46,000 pages of the writer's works three times using text recognition technologies.
“Thanks to the help of several thousand volunteers from 49 countries and ABBYY text recognition technologies, we have created a reference electronic version of the 90-volume collection of Leo Tolstoy's works. Today everyone can download all, even the rarest works of the writer on the www. Tolstoy.ru portal free of charge and read them on their computers, tablets and smartphones,”the organizers write.
Connoisseurs of Lev Nikolaevich's creativity can check in on the interactive map and see how many people around the world read Tolstoy. In addition to the writer's works of fiction, on the site you can download his publicistic works, letters and diaries for different years in EPUB, FB2 and MOBI formats.
