In 1949, there was only one organization doing social engineering in the United States. 20 years later, by the end of the 60s, the number of such organizations increased 130 times. Experiments on society are becoming larger and more complex every year.

Where are we heading? What kind of society do scientists grow in their test tubes? Obviously, the one described by Karl Popper: “The property of an abstract society can be explained with a single hyperbole. We can imagine a society in which people hardly ever meet face to face. In such a society, all work is done by individuals. In complete isolation, these individuals communicate with each other through letters or telegrams. And they drive around in closed cars. Artificial insemination would even allow breeding without personal contact. Such a fictional society could be called a completely abstract or impersonal society."

How can this society be run? Major General Jiangxin, rector of the University of Information Technology of the People's Liberation Army of China, said this very accurately: “The damage of a nuclear bomb is local, and a network war can bring an entire country to its knees and even plunge the whole world into chaos. Since the means of network warfare do not have a territorial connection, the area of impact turns out to be larger than that of an atomic bomb - which, in general, in my opinion, is absolutely true. For example, the country's telecommunication systems are completely paralyzed. The financial sector is plunging into chaos. Hence the discord in the national economy, society is in a fever, and now the state no longer has the will to fight. Our dependence on information networked systems makes this obvious. Let's pretend that you don't have a phone, there is nowhere to get information. In this situation, most people will begin to experience the greatest anxiety."

The inclusiveness of the web

The future generation has many names: Digital Native (the indigenous natives of the digital age), Net Generation (people on the Web), generation C (connection) - people who started communicating with society via the Internet. Such people by 2020 will be 40% of the total population of the USA, Europe and the BRICS countries and 10% of the rest of the world.

The problem of lack of Internet on some plots of land will be quickly resolved. Internet organizations are very concerned about this. The total cost of all projects, according to official figures, is almost $ 400 billion. Already, Mark Zuckerberg is busy with the Titan Aerospace project - this is the launch of solar-powered semi-satellites that will hover at an altitude of 18-24 km and spread the Internet to hard-to-reach areas. Google also has its own projects to spread the Internet. This and Project Loon - stratospheric balloons that should hang somewhere over Africa. This is its own spaceport, purchased from NASA, and the satellite projects Lunar X PRIZE and Space X. Perhaps soon everyone will switch to satellite Internet, and it will be available to absolutely everyone.

Google projects

If we talk about Google projects, then this is a very interesting, multifaceted topic. They have a lot of projects related to the sixth technological order.

For example, in the field of medicine, developments are being carried out both in private innovations and in global ones, such as life extension. The latest equipment is used for experiments and research, a colossal database of human DNA.

Or the Google X project, which is developing cars that can move without a driver. Of course, another project is connected to it - Google Maps.

Google has absorbed eight leading robotics companies in a fairly short period of time. Now they produce a wide variety of robots - for construction, for military operations, for rescue operations …

The introduction of quantum computing in computers by Google, which will be done about 100 million times faster than on the current ones, is being carried out, among other things, so that robots can quickly process information, especially in cases where a decision must be made in fractions of a second. This may be needed, in particular, for a robotic system for anti-terrorist work, which, based on the micromimics of the face, will be able to guess the intentions of a person and anticipate his actions; rescue robots.

Artificial neural connections are being developed. At one time, Google Vice President Eric Schmidt co-wrote the book "The New Digital World" with Jared Cohen. In it, he writes: "Until robots operating on the battlefield acquire autonomous artificial intelligence, interference or disconnection can turn this machine into a useless heap of iron." Of course, no one will create a real analogue of artificial intelligence, this is impossible. But elements of such intelligence are already being developed.

Last year, Google received a patent to develop cloud-based task distribution by a group of robots. Lingodroids were created - robots that divided the territory among themselves, approaching the borders, gave it a name, agreed, fixed it, thereby developing their own language for the distribution of territory. In fact, the developers were rehearsing a possible seizure of territory by robots, which must act independently. A system has already been developed that allows the robot to navigate the terrain without contacting anything at all. He takes the first point from which he starts, and then focuses on his own criteria and objectives.

Work for the special services

Google's military development is a separate topic. Igor Ashmanov, one of the specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, said: “After these towers were blown up (the WTC buildings in the USA. citizens. And these laws have a secret application and by-laws. In addition, all the US intelligence services were united into a huge monster Homeland Security, and they also put under arms all large companies: Apple, Microsoft, Google, Twitter, and so on. Google has grown as a startup, initially driven by intelligence agencies. Eric Schmidt, in my opinion, was originally a curator from the special services."

Google already serves, in addition to the general search technology, a specialized closed search technology for special services called Intellectopedia.

Dr. Bhavani Thuraisingham said: “Traveling to Stanford with Dr. Steinheiser from the intelligence community. When Brin drove up on roller skates, he gave the presentation and got out. In fact, at our last meeting in September 1997, Brin showed us his search engine, which later became the core of Google,”what they originally patented as PageRank. In 1994, two Stanford graduate students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, proposed a page ranking algorithm. The project was originally funded by IBM, Hitachi, NASA and DARPA. DARPA is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, an organization dedicated to defense systems. It appeared as a response to the development of the Soviet technological satellite.

The history of the issue is as follows: in 1994, the DARPA program appears and in the same year a closed military forum opens, which studies the conflict in the information age. These structures are headed by Anita Jones and Regina Dugan. Both figures will subsequently be linked to Google. In 1995, another project appeared - MDDS - “Study of the massive digital data system”. As part of this project, scientists are beginning to study conflicts in the information technology era and process massive digital data. At the head of this organization are special services and their representatives.

In 1996, the Pentagon approved the doctrine of information warfare, the year after the formation of this forum. In 1998, a unified doctrine of war through information operations was adopted. In the same year, Page and Brin meet for the last time with Thuraisingham, an MDDS spokesperson, and their other curators, and set up Google.

Here is what Elena Larina, an expert in competitive intelligence, writes about the sources of Google's formation: “The first 100 thousand dollars went to the textbook Menlonparket garage of one of the contractors of a number of DARPA projects, Andy Bechtolstein. He is also one of the founders of Sun, which left for Oracle. The first large investments not of a private order, but of a venture fund, came to Google from Sequoia Capital, whose head Don Valentine is in the management of the largest contractor of the Pentagon and the intelligence community Fairchild Semiconductor, the largest investor in startups in Silicon Valley."

In 1999, the CIA establishes its own company, which begins to engage in digital projects and investments in companies that are somehow connected with the Internet. This is In-Q-Tel, and Anita Jones, the former head of DARPA, is leaving. One of her first investments was Keihou, which was then bought by Google. From it came Google Earth. The one that is engaged in observations.

An interesting mechanism is the flow of personnel between related organizations. In America it is called "turntables" or "double gates". It is clearly visible in DARPA, Google and the intelligence services associated with them. In 1999, when In-Q-Tel was approved, Keyhoe's director, Rob Painter, moved to the same position at Google. He began to concentrate on tracking social networks, that is, the entire media space on the Internet. In 2001, the US Department of Defense gave a report titled "Network-centric martial arts", where the network was seen as an effective paradigm for the social connections of the information society. It was this definition that subsequently formed the basis of the official doctrine of the Ministry of Defense.

Continuing the topic, one can cite one more quote from the book “The New Digital World” by Eric Schmidt and Jared Cohen: “The most important role of communication technologies will be their participation in the degree of concentration of power and its redistribution from the state and public institutions to citizens. We are confident that such modern high-tech platforms as Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple are even more powerful than most people think, and the future world will face profound changes as a result of their successful development and ubiquity. These platforms represent a true paradigm shift, much like the invention of television. And their main strength lies in the ability to grow, that is, in the rate of change in scale. Almost no one can match the speed at which these platforms proliferate, other than biological viruses. And this gives appropriate authority to those who build them, control and use them. When you read the book, you get the impression that Google has no other task, how to change the government. Digital technologies could be turned in any direction, but they only focus on the change of power.

More recently, a study was conducted that analyzed all the confrontations from 1985 to 2013. In 55% of cases, civilian resistance gave greater success, and only in 28% of cases - military resistance. Probably, similar studies were carried out before, not without reason the United States in 2005 focused on this very mechanism in carrying out all kinds of "springs" and coups.

Sergey Brin also expressed himself in a similar way, saying, "The main mission of the company (in his opinion) is to carry free information about people in countries with authoritarian regimes."Now that we know a lot about Google's "undercurrent", the quote takes on a slightly different color.

E-education from Google

Google is hyperactively being introduced not only into the news formation of the worldview, but also into the formation of the worldview from the very childhood. Digital technologies now play a separate role here. Alexander Asmolov, Head of the Department of Psychology at Moscow State University, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Education, the Public Council of the Russian Jewish Congress, stated in one of his articles: “I see the unique role of the Internet in awakening not just children's, but civil consciousness. For all the critical moments, the Internet is an environment for the development of civil society. To some extent, those who went to Bolotnaya Square and Sakharov Square … I assess these events not politically, but psychologically. These are people who have gone through the school of variable education, they are already accustomed to making their own choices. What we started in 1991-1992, when we were doing the education reform, worked in 2011-2012. Education is not only pedagogy, but the ideology of the society of the future”.

Google has a myriad of educational projects. It is also a university developed together with NASA. It is also universal training in 3D-printing. This is a huge number of educational programs based on mobile phones and tablet computers.

Tatiana Chernigovskaya, a neurolinguist, Doctor of Biology, Philology, Corresponding Member of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences, spoke interestingly about e-education: “The average number of queries in Google in 1998 was 9.8 thousand, now there are 4.7 trillion. That is, in general, a wild amount. And we are seeing what is now called the Google effect. We got hooked on pleasantries, getting information very quickly at any moment. This leads to the fact that we spoil all kinds of memory. Working memory becomes, though not bad, but very short. Google-effect - it was poked, and now it got in."

On the question of what comes out of Google. For example, the European antitrust regulator has been investigating Google's activities for five years and concluded that since 2008 “Google has been systematically positioning and issuing its own services for comparing goods and prices, regardless of their quality, in the first places in the search.” That is, despite the fact that Jared Cohen called Google the largest anarchist project, it is not entirely anarchist. It also has its own beneficiaries and beneficiaries, including in the commercial sphere.

Experiments on users

Recently in the UK, Vidal Hall spoke out against Google. At the end of the trial, the court found Google guilty of misuse of data on Internet user behavior. This data was collected by Google using the Safari browser during 2011-2012.

Google has an official MI5 collaboration program. However, Andrew Parker, the head of this organization, once mentioned that Google has not shown itself in the fight against terrorists. If the data is not for intelligence agencies, then for what? For whom?

Google has secret data centers, to which not only no one has access rights, but even the right to request. Taking into account the fact that they monitor traffic of about 2 billion people, it seems that this is not only about security. I will give just one fact: the British company SCL (Strategic Communications Laboratories) has an American subsidiary - Cambridge Analytica, which is exhibited at military salons. At the British salon Defense Systems & Equipment International, a certain Alexander Kogan bought 40 million Amazon users from them for analysis before the election campaign. This is not about political campaigns, but about a variety of experiments on the masses.

The most interesting thing is the manipulation of society. There are three interesting studies. The first was carried out at the University of Massachusetts, which found that in order to control the Network, it was necessary to control from 9 to 15% of its users. Scientists at the Rensselaer Polytechnic have shown that ten people with unwavering conviction break the minds of the rest. And finally, Ptirentagon came to the conclusion that if 30% accept a certain belief, then the process becomes irreversible and takes over the whole society. But at the same time, it is still necessary to control from 15% to 25% of the Network drivers - those who transfer information from community to community. We all, one way or another, belong to some kind of communities, and we can always be calculated by overlapping communities, even if we are anonymous on the network. This is what a huge database is for.

Alex Petland, one of the heads of laboratories at the University of Massachusetts, one of the seven most influential people in the field of IT technology through Forbes, wrote: “The very fact that now we can track the dynamics of social interactions, their origins, and that we will no longer limited to averages, such as market indices, makes me in awe. We will predict and manage the behavior of markets and the emergence of revolutions."

In The New Digital World, a curious fantasy by Google Director of Development Scott Hoffman is recounted: “… imagine: in the future, there will be Google microphones on the ceiling of every room in every building to recognize the user's speech. Like a smart personal secretary, the system can interrupt you, tell you when you need to leave, so you don't miss your plane. The microphones will also serve as an entertainment function, and you will transmit commands through them. Fantasy about a total level of control, right?..

It is known that in the modern world, 90% of people hold a telephone near them. Scientists are already developing programs that, in fact, are implanted in the human brain. In particular, Kai Miller, a neurosurgeon and physicist at Stanford University, has developed a program that decodes 96% of images seen by humans in real time. Japanese scientists have tracked what you say and what you don’t say. At the synoptic level, these electrical impulses work in the same way. If you know how to shoot them, then your thoughts are read faster than they get into the RAM department and are pronounced. While this is done with the help of chipping, a special apparatus - a neuropack, which removes these brain waves.

The Weisman Biology Research Institute believes that brain wave patterns will soon be able to predict actions before we take them. Scientists say these developments in controlling and suppressing neural impulses can help people with paralysis, epilepsy, and other medical conditions. Today in the United States, this is done by a professor at the University of Massachusetts, Polina Anikeeva, a native of Russia.

Afterword

In addition to the already well-known "brain drain", there is another way of pumping out intellectual property. Why are all innovative technologies concentrated in the United States and China? Because in the modern world, technology interception has become commonplace, formalized according to the letter of the law.

Today in the Russian Federation there are two documents dedicated to the security of the country: the National Security Strategy and the Concept of Public Security. Both of these documents indicate that public safety is, first of all, ensuring security from unlawful encroachments. Unfortunately, the threat to us is not limited to the term “unlawful encroachments”. I repeat: today, most of the technical secrets are legally gone. This happens according to a very simple scheme: investors come, we disclose technical information to them, and it legally flows abroad. Thus, all ideas, developments, fundamental research are concentrated practically in the same hands, among people who are striving with all their might for world power and total control over a person.
