Over the 70 years of its existence, the main US intelligence service has turned from a community of professionals into a weapon for enslaving people.

On September 18, 2017, an extremely significant event took place, which for some unknown reason was ignored by almost all Russian media. This date is the anniversary of the organization, which, like no one else, influenced not only the course of world development, but also the current state of the world community. Exactly 70 years ago, in 1947, the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was formed. A huge number of reports and exposing books were written about this organization, thousands and thousands of documentaries and feature films were shot, the CIA entered every home and every family, generating a full range of human emotions - from blind love and admiration to irrational hatred.

Perhaps the CIA is the most famous and discussed organization in the world, the world's number one brand. Behind the CIA, there are rumors of incredible James Bond-style operations, chains of bloody assassinations and coups d'état, unreal events and supernatural possibilities. For 70 years, the CIA has overgrown with stories, legends and fairy tales in which truth mixed with lies, propaganda with counter-propaganda, information with disinformation, white with black. In this article, I will try to show relatively objectively the main milestones in the development of this organization, its methods and goals, and how the original community of intellectuals and professionals over time has degraded so much that it has become a crude and primitive instrument for achieving geopolitical, social, economic and civilizational goals by elites.

The CIA was created out of the Office of Strategic Services, which was reformed under the National Security Act by the President Harry Truman … According to a special law on the CIA, passed in 1949, the agency became a US foreign intelligence and counterintelligence agency, and its main function was to collect and analyze information on the activities of foreign organizations and citizens. The CIA inherited a fairly serious intellectual and methodological experience from its progenitor, the OSS. In the recently declassified CIA archives, there was a very interesting top secret document signed by the head of the OSS William Donovan, titled Morale Operations Field Manual, Strategic Services, (Provicional).

Donovan himself, also known as the "father of central intelligence" and "the father of American intelligence," laid the foundation for the American intelligence community and became the mentor of all of the most powerful directors of the CIA. Tellingly, Donovan resigned in 1946 to participate in the International Nuremberg Military Tribunal as an assistant judge from the United States. Robert Jackson … What moral qualities the refereeing in Nuremberg possessed from the United States is shown by this "Guideline on Morality", which became one of the first doctrinal documents of the CIA.

The main purpose of this instruction is to train employees in the ability to give bribes, cause riots, riots and coups, add people to drugs to effectively manage them. Defined in the instructions as "moral operations" in modern times are closest to the so-called "psychological operations", and include "a set of measures for subversive activities, excluding direct physical impact, used to create chaos and decay, as well as to undermine morale. and the political unity of the enemy”. What is now called "soft power" and information and hybrid warfare

One of the main methods is “bribery and blackmail”. In many cases, bribery and blackmail can be “extremely effective,” according to the guide, but both are considered dangerous. Bribery, in particular, is perceived as a likely act to expose the operator: "since the art of double crossing is ancient and the bribed person tends to be an unscrupulous person willing to work on either side." Bribery may be used against "political and military leaders, newspaper editors and reporters, radio broadcasters, business leaders, religious, professional and union leaders, police, minor officials, customs officials and security guards."

Bribes can be used to carry out “important strategic covert acts,” but they usually serve as ancillary means to support more ambitious operations. For example, a bribe to a journalist or broadcaster can be used to set up or spread rumors, disinformation, panic, etc., and "bribery of police officials can create 'incidents' or riots."

"Important strategic secret diplomatic actions" are described in paragraph 33 of the World War II manual entitled "Instigating an insurrection or coup d'etat in a country with allies or encouraging it to secede from the Axis." According to the document, "the mission is to help foment and spread revolutions, incidents, changes in government or coups d'etat in the allied countries of the adversaries or other countries with the dominant influence of the adversary." The document notes that due to the sensitive nature of the overthrow of the country's government "close consultation with the State Department may be required." The guide provides a list of several ways to achieve just such a goal

Judicious use of bribery against local leaders of "political, religious, or professional groups" can help persuade them to turn their groups into subversive organizations that serve US interests and goals. Likewise, selective bribery of officials can lead to corruption that is created in an organization or a state. The manual also proposes to first bribe officials and then expose “corruption and bribery” in the local media as a way to eliminate the unnecessary person and create “doubt and suspicion of all officials”.

Bribery, drug addiction and blackmail are based on similar methods. It was with this moral baggage that the newly formed CIA began to carry out its activities. According to the American media, over 70 years, the CIA has carried out 7 of the most significant, large-scale and controversial operations that turned out to be known to the general public and caused heated discussion in various circles and communities.

Overthrowing governments around the world

Best known for the first large-scale coup, Operation Ajax in 1953, the CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader Mohammed Mossadeh, reinstating the autocratic Shah who had championed Western oil interests. This operation, which the CIA conducted in conjunction with British intelligence, ultimately led to the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the ensuing American hostage crisis. Because of Operation Ajax, relations between the United States and Iran remain tense and hostile to this day

In addition, the CIA had a hand in overthrowing several other democratically elected governments, from Guatemala (1954) and Congo (1960) to the Dominican Republic (1961), South Vietnam (1963), Brazil (1964) and Chile (1973). year). The CIA aimed to bring to power leaders who were in line with American interests, but in most cases these leaders became dictators. This is just an incomplete list of countries where the CIA has secretly tried to use and control the governments of sovereign states.

Operation Paperclip

One of the most unprincipled and exotic operations to use Nazi scientists, both in the United States and abroad, to gain advantages over the USSR. As written in the New York Times bestselling author's book Anna Jacobsen"A covert operation to bring Nazi scientists to America," Operation Paperclip was aimed at finding and preserving German weapons, including biological and chemical agents, but American scientific intelligence officers quickly realized that the weapons themselves were clearly not enough.

"They decided that the United States needed to bring the Nazi scientists themselves to the United States." Thus began a mission to recruit the best Nazi doctors, physicists and chemists, including Wernher von Braun, who continued to develop rockets that would later take humans to the moon. This book was highly regarded by the CIA for its historical accuracy. Henry Wallace, a former vice president and commercial secretary, believed the scientists' ideas would help launch new civic industries and create jobs. The Missile Launch Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida, was led by Kurt Debus, an ardent Nazi. General Reinhard Gehlen, the former head of Nazi intelligence operations against the USSR, was hired by the CIA to manage 600 former Nazi agents in the Soviet zone of occupied Germany

Operation CHAOS (Chaos)

The FBI operation COINTELPRO is widely known to undermine the communist movements in the United States in the 1950s, anti-war movements, civil and black rights movements. By law, the CIA had no right to act domestically against US citizens. However, for the first time, the president is said to Lyndon B. Johnsonviolated the law and instructed the then head of the CIA Richard Helms actively intervene in this operation. Journalist for The New York Times, Pulitzer Prize laureate, Tim Weiner in his book Legacy from the Ashes: A CIA History, writes:

As a result, the CIA conducted an internal oversight operation, code-named "Chaos," lasting nearly seven years. Eleven CIA officers became long-haired hippies, learned New Left jargon, and infiltrated protest groups in the US and Europe. Weiner said the agency has compiled a database of 300,000 names of American citizens and organizations, as well as extensive files on 7,200 citizens. The agency worked in complete secrecy with police departments across America. The CIA spied on every major peacekeeping organization in the country, but was never able to find their connection with foreign governments

Infiltration of the media

Over the years, the CIA has successfully gained influence in the media, as well as in popular spheres such as the film industry, television, the Internet, and social media. His influence on news began almost immediately after the agency was founded. As a result, virtually all of the information, media, communications and entertainment sectors of the United States and its satellites came under the full control of this agency. I will describe this operation in more detail below.

Mind Control (MKUltra Project)

This one of the longest-running projects began in the 1950s, when the CIA decided to experiment with drugs to determine if they could be useful in extracting information from a person. Smithsonian Magazine describes the MKUltra project as follows:

According to official testimony from the CIA director Stensfield Turner in 1977, the project was highly classified due to ethical and legal issues and expected public backlash should MKUltra go public.

“Through the MKUltra project, the CIA was empowered to investigate how drugs can“contribute to the intoxicating effects of alcohol, facilitate the induction of hypnosis, increase people's ability to resist deprivation, torture and coercion, produce amnesia, shock and chaos, and much more. Many of these questions have been explored using forced laborers such as drug addicted prisoners, marginal sex workers, and terminal cancer patients - “people who couldn't resist,” according to Sydney Gottlieb, the chemist who introduced LSD into the CIA program."

As a result, the CIA received numerous charges, including the trade and distribution of drugs, and officially curtailed the program. However, it turned out that the program has been transformed and is still in effect, exploring the influence on the brain, behavior and control of a person with the help of modern technologies and the achievements of a scientific and technical civilization.

Brutal torture tactics

Edition The daily beast published The Most Gruesome Moments in the CIA ‘Torture Report’, which lists the CIA torture methods in prisons against “terrorism suspects”. A detailed 2014 Senate report documented cases of agents committing sexual abuse, forcing detainees to stand on broken legs, beating them, force-feeding them through their anus, and much more. And although the agency justified itself on the grounds that everything was being done according to the torture protocol, these inhuman practices led the International Criminal Court to find the CIA, along with the US military, guilty of war crimes and torture.

Creation of armed radicals

The CIA has a long history of creating and arming radical extremist groups that formally regard the United States as their enemy. In 1979, the CIA created and armed Afghan mujahideen to confront the USSR. As Weiner wrote in 1979, The CIA also created Bin laden, considering him a valuable fighter against the USSR. Of the mujahideen Bin laden, beneficiaries of the CIA program, and al-Qaeda * came out. Stanford University noted in its report that Bin Laden and Abdullah Azzam, a prominent Palestinian cleric, "created al-Qaeda, its fighters, financial resources, and trained and recruited structures left over from the anti-Soviet war." Much of these "structures" were provided by the CIA. The CIA's Afghan operation currently has funding of $ 700 million a year, which is 80 percent of the CIA's external black budget. Now it turns out that ISIS * is the brainchild of the CIA, which finances, arms and runs this terrorist organization.

Operation Mockingbird

Image

But the most, in my opinion, the large-scale and long-term operation of the CIA, which continues to this day, is the operation to create a kind of parallel reality and with its help manipulate human society, Operation Mockingbird. This operation was one of the reasons that prompted George Orwell to writing the books "1984" and "Animal Farm".

In foreign policy, vivid examples of the use of Operation Mockingbird were the so-called “false flag operations,” when the CIA, with the help of the media, created a distorted reality to justify its aggressive actions.

In 2005, a historic study by the National Security Agency (NSA) was declassified, which showed that one of two incidents used to bring America into the disastrous Vietnam War turned out to be false. The so-called Tonkin incident, when Vietnamese ships allegedly fired at the USS Maddox, which was the reason for the start of the intervention in Vietnam, turned out to be a hoax. Later, President Johnson admitted a year later: "As far as I know, our fleet shot whales there."

On October 10, 1990, 15-year-old Naira testified before Congress about the atrocities that Iraqi forces allegedly perpetrated on the people of Kuwait. Her testimony that hundreds of babies were taken out of their incubators and left to die on hospital floors have been made public by Amnesty International, the media, numerous senators and even the President. George W. Bushby providing American public support for the invasion of Iraq and the outbreak of the Gulf War.

But that turned out to be a lie, which was confirmed by The New York Times in the article "Cheating on Capitol Hill."Naira was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti envoy to the United States, and all of her testimony and testimony about "incubator babies" on television and in Congress was false. It never happened. However, this operation ensured the US aggression against Iraq.

From the later US operations "under a false flag" in the framework of the CIA Operation Mockingbird, one can mention the 9/11 attacks, a test tube with a "chemical" by the Secretary of Defense Colin Powell, which served as a pretext for the invasion of Iraq and the overthrow Saddam Hussein, and the false chemical attacks in Syria by the White Helmets, which I discussed in detail in the article How White Helmets Staged a Chemical Attack in Idlib.

The CIA faced the first major crisis in Operation Mockingbird in the 1970s. After the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of the president Richard Nixon, in 1972-1974, the US Congress was worried about the influence of the CIA even on the highest bodies and officials of the state. This concern peaked when a reporter Seymour Hersh published an investigation into CIA internal surveillance in 1975. Congress authorized a series of investigations into the Agency's activities from 1975 to 1976, which examined a wide range of CIA operations, including the agency's ties to journalists and numerous private organizations. However, in none of the documents was Operation Mockingbird mentioned directly, which speaks of a huge undercover struggle in the highest echelons of US government.

The most extensive discussion of the CIA's relationship with the media was in the final report of the so-called Church Committee of the US Senate, published in April 1976. The report examines the CIA's connections with foreign and American media and draws interesting conclusions:

Regarding foreign media, it is asserted:

Regarding the American media, the report states:

All these investigations forced the CIA leadership to announce the closure of the operation. Former director of the CIA William Colby told the Committee that in 1973 he issued instructions stating that "as a general rule, the agency will not secretly use staff members of American publications that have significant influence on the state or public opinion." George W. Bushas director of the CIA in 1976, issued even more restrictive instructions, which stated that “The CIA will not enter into any paid or contractual relationship with any news correspondent accredited to American news agencies, newspapers, magazines, radio or television networks or stations ".

It would seem that this was the end of Operation Mockingbird. However, as subsequent events showed, it simply went underground, became not so obvious and open. As the publisher writes LewRockwell.com in the article “The Reagan Papers Shedding Light on US Intervention,” recently declassified 1982 documents show that the CIA has created new special agencies to conduct semi-secret operations as a result of scandals - nongovernmental, non-profit and community foundations, in particular, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) which was established in 1983. The new structure was supervised by a high-ranking CIA officer Walter Raymond Jr. which was transferred by Reagan to the National Security Council of Staff. Raymond took over as chair of an interagency working group that focused on "people's diplomacy," "psychological operations," and "political action." The CIA's tactics have completely changed and now it is the system of foundations and public organizations that plays a key role in the implementation of Operation Mockingbird. It was during the time so beloved by the current President of the United States Donald Trump the president Ronald Reagan and a new structure was formed to create Orwellian reality.

Over time, the CIA began to turn from an intelligence agency in the service of the state into an instrument for solving various tasks of the ruling elites, the establishment, which financed through numerous funds, “black cash desks”, and conducting commercial operations in the sale of drugs, people, weapons, technologies. The most striking example of this is the well-known operation "Iran-Contra", when the CIA secretly supplied weapons to Iran in the 1980s, and financed the Nicaraguan Contra rebels with the proceeds, bypassing the ban of Congress

Experienced analysts began to disappear from the CIA, and their place was taken by primitive unscrupulous performers. Analysis and, on its basis, strategic forecasting were left to the mercy of computer programs. It was at this moment in 1994 that the famous analyst, political scientist George Friedman organized a private intelligence and analytical agency "Stratfor", called the "shadow CIA", into which the overwhelming majority of the CIA analysts who turned out to be unclaimed in the new conditions went. Friedman introduced methods of analysis and strategic forecasting based on the compilation of psychological models-portraits of leading politicians, and not on the basis of obtaining intelligence.

Recently, Stratfor's strategic forecasts have been talking more about the American plans for their potential adversaries than reflecting a real analysis and strategic forecast of the geopolitical situation in the world. The general degradation and shortage of qualified personnel have also affected this last island of professional US analysts. Moreover, the degradation affected not only the analytical component of the CIA. Edition The daily caller publishes the story of a former U. S. Secret Service agent Dana Bongino, in which he tells how, in pursuit of "diversity", tolerance and for the sake of political trends, the secret service sharply lowered the standards of its work and current employees, which led to its catastrophic degradation and unprofessionalism.

For analysis and forecasting, the CIA began to rely more on computer programs than on people. Following the general US doctrine of Network-centric warfare, the CIA commissioned analysis and forecasting to a computer program to mine large volumes of databases. The concept that this program manages is based on a multiple increase in the ability to conduct operations without increasing quantitative components, only by raising the management technology to a qualitatively new level by creating a single information network connecting all participants in operations in real time.

In connection with Operation Mockingbird, the United States launched the Social Media in Strategic Communication (SMISC) program in 2011, the main goal of which was to develop a new science about social networks and media, based on the program I described above. Through this program, the Department of Defense Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has developed tools that enable operators to counter disinformation and deception campaigns. Naturally, these same tools allow you to do the opposite - to create and implement campaigns to misinform and deceive

However, this program already gave a very serious misfire during the last US presidential election. All the technological and scientific power accumulated as a result of the many years of development of the Mockingbird project was aimed at winning Hillary Clinton. All the power of the American media, agencies, media, social networks worked under the control of a single program against Donald Trump … However, one smart person, exploiting the basic weaknesses of the program, was able to outsmart it and defeat it. Brad Pascal and a team of intellectuals, digital marketers, under his leadership, through aggressive targeting of Trump's ads to various social, political and racial segments of the population, were able to replay the honed and seemingly invincible program of Operation Mockingbird. The human mind defeated the computer, but Trump himself did not learn a positive lesson from this story; rather, on the contrary, he began to use old methods in his actions as president.

High-tech projects are gradually ousting intelligence professionals from the CIA, replacing them with technical executors, technicians and engineers. All censorship and content editing is now at the mercy of computers. Doctor Robert Duncantalks about the new mind control programs used by the intelligence services. According to him, our opinion, reason, the information received is now determined by some algorithms and deliberate manipulations. He's not just talking about advances in transhumanism, singularity, or artificial intelligence. He talks about how to control the minds of all people on the planet and evolve humanity in a technological sense … whether we like it or not.

Duncan says with regret that he worked on the Voice of God weapon for the CIA and the US Department of Defense, a weapon that can make people think they are hearing voices in their heads while trying to control them. He says such weapons were tested during Operation Desert Storm and were effective enough to force Iraqi soldiers to lay down their weapons without firing a shot. Duncan also touches on Project Blue Beam, remote neural monitoring, smart dust, and electronic telepathy technology that uses extremely low frequency waves

Recently released CIA documents show the military is about to create a unit "Meme Warfare"charged with controlling the minds of the American population. According to US defense documents, the generated war memes can be used to win a war and influence the general population. In a report published in 2005 Michael B. Prosser, says the US military can create and spread memes to "defeat enemy ideology among the masses."

The established Meme Warfare Center (MWC) will generate and transmit memes, according to machine analysis, to target populations. MWC aims for full spectral generation, analysis, quality assurance and organic data transmission capabilities. The United States has already established a Military Information Command Information Support Mission (MISOC), whose job it is to influence hostile, neutral and friendly nations and forces to hold favorable views and take additional action on ongoing operations by the United States. and their allies. MISO manipulates its communication goals using logic, fear, desire, and other mental factors to induce desired emotions, attitudes or behavior. The unit currently operates under the command of the United States Special Operations Forces (USASOC) and has 3,000 members. MISO is based on the idea that human will is shaped by information, beliefs and perceptions.

To understand in what way and in what direction the CIA is now developing, it is enough to look at the list of modern technologies funded by the agency. The CIA has its own investment firm called In-Q-Tel "which has been funding innovative technology firms and projects for many years. All firms are financed from the so-called secret "black budget" (The Black Budget). According to The Washington Post, in 2013 the CIA's "black budget" amounted to $ 52.6 billion. Collectiv Evolution provides a list of 14 priority CIA investments. From the analysis of these investments, it can be understood that the CIA completely rejects the traditional methods of obtaining information on an operational basis, their intellectual analysis and strategic forecasting, giving preference to modern gadgets and technological devices, which is not a point, but a massive one.

Hence, the main goals of the CIA follow - total control over large groups of the population, which fully fits into the so-called "Big Brother" conspiracy theory. Accordingly, having total information about everyone, the CIA can roughly influence people through legislative prohibitions and primitive lies. "Forbid and not let go!"
