Recall that at the end of January 2010 it became known that by a court decision in the Rostov region on September 11, 2009, the writer Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, a man born in 1828, Russian, married, place of registration: Yasnaya Polyana, Shchekinsky district, Tula region, was recognized as an extremist during one anti-extremist trial in Taganrog.

An expert opinion was posted on the Internet, which testified to the extremist nature of Leo Tolstoy's worldview, inciting religious enmity and / or hatred on the grounds of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, in particular in the following statement:

"I became convinced that the teaching of the [Russian Orthodox] Church is theoretically an insidious and harmful lie, but in practice it is a collection of the most crude superstitions and witchcraft, which completely conceals the whole meaning of Christian teaching."

The court ruled that this statement by Lev Tolstoy forms a negative attitude towards the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), and on this basis the article containing this statement was recognized as one of the extremist materials. Note that Tolstoy is not just an extremist, but an extremist-recidivist.

In 1901, Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, male, born in 1828, Russian, married, place of residence: Yasnaya Polyana, Shchekino District, Tula Region, was already officially convicted of seditious thoughts against the Russian Orthodox Church, excommunicated and anathematized.

In addition, the tsarist, and then the Bolshevik and current democratic authorities in Russia still carefully conceal the fact that Leo Tolstoy adopted Islam at the end of his life.

The ruling of the Russian ecclesiastical court of February 20, 1901 states:

“In his writings and letters, scattered in many by him and his disciples all over the world, especially within the borders of our dear Fatherland, he preaches, with the zeal of a fanatic, the overthrow of all the dogmas of the Orthodox Church and the very essence of the Christian faith; rejects the personal living God, glorified in the Holy Trinity, the Creator and Provider of the universe, denies the Lord Jesus Christ - the God-man, Redeemer and Savior of the world, who suffered us for the sake of men and ours for salvation and rose from the dead, denies the seedless conception of Christ the Lord through humanity and virginity until and after the birth of the Most Pure Theotokos the Ever-Virgin Mary, does not recognize the afterlife and reward, rejects all the sacraments of the Church and the grace-filled action of the Holy Spirit in them and, cursing the most sacred objects of faith of the Orthodox people, did not shudder to mock the greatest of the sacraments, the Holy Eucharist.

Count Tolstoy preaches all this continuously, in word and in writing, to the temptation and horror of the entire Orthodox world, and thus invisibly, but clearly in front of everyone."

On March 18, 2010, in the Kirovsky court of Yekaterinburg, at one of the many anti-extremist trials that are now taking place throughout Russia, an expert on extremism Pavel Suslonov testified strongly:

"Leo Tolstoy's leaflets" Preface to the "Soldier's Memo" and "Officers' Memo", directed to soldiers, sergeants and officers, contain direct calls for inciting sectarian hatred directed against the Orthodox Church."
