Video: How fluoridated water suppresses a person's personality

The dystopian film Equilibrium, released in 2002, portrayed a grim picture of a totalitarian future inhabited by people devoid of emotion.
According to the plot, after the end of the third world war in the fictional state of Libria, the medicine "Prosium" was invented, which suppressed any emotions - both positive and negative. All the characters regularly hosted Prosium, not thinking about starting a war or rebelling against the government โฆ
Freedom or caries?
At first glance, the concept of mass drug use by people, shown in the film - to force people to take drugs against their will, and even imperceptibly - seems impracticable. However, in practice it is not difficult - it is enough to imperceptibly mix them into something without which a person cannot exist for a long time. For example, into the water.
It was water, or rather, the addition of fluorine to it, that became the cause of one of the most famous scandals of the 20th century, the controversy around which still continues.
It all began with an open letter from the American chemist Charles Eliot Perkins dated October 2, 1954, which he addressed to the Wisconsin State Health Committee. Here is an excerpt from this letter:
In the same year, a revelatory book by Perkins called "The Truth About Aqueous Fluoridation" was published. The reason for writing the letter and the book itself was the information he received during a business trip to Germany.
Chemists of the German concern 1.6. Farben, at one of whose factories Perkins was undergoing a refresher course, told him that during the Second World War, their company supplied fluoride to concentration camps in Germany and the territories it occupied. There it was added to drinks to make prisoners obedient by suppressing their will to resist.
The main message of the book was that the FDA - the US Food and Drug Administration - is adding fluoride to the water supply by order of the government, just as they did in Nazi Germany.
Birth of a conspiracy
To be fair, it should be noted that fluoridation was not a Nazi invention. It began in the United States and is associated with Dr. Frederick McKay, who in 1931 studied cases of fluorosis in a mountainous area of Colorado. This disease is characterized by pitting of the teeth, the appearance of white streaks and spots on them. Of the 2945 children examined by Dr. McKay, 87.5% had bad teeth.
At the same time, Harry Van Osdall Churchill, chief chemist of the American aluminum corporation ALCOA, engaged in the study of new chemicals, conducted a series of experiments to study the effects of fluoride on the body. Most likely, he learned about McKay's discoveries from the newspaper periodicals of those years. It should be noted that ALCOA was directly interested in these studies, since fluoride is the main waste product of aluminum production.
Experiments on rats have shown that caries was reduced under the influence of fluoridated water. Churchill concluded that the high concentration of fluoride ions in the region's drinking water (ranging from 2 to 13.7 milligrams per liter) was the cause of the fluorosis epidemic in Colorado.
The fact is that the mountain formations of Colorado contain mineral cryolite, one of which is fluorine. As rain and snow fell, the wastewater dissolved fluoride, which then entered the water supply. In areas with its low concentration, another disease, caries, was raging, and fluorosis was absent.
Other effects of this substance have either not been studied or have been hidden. In 1947, Oscar Ewing, a representative of the ALCOA company, made a public appeal to the US Congress with a proposal to oblige American water companies to fluoride their liquid reserves, and by 1951 (under the pretext of protecting citizens from caries) a bill was passed binding the company, and this practice became apply throughout the United States.

Hidden threat
What is fluoride? It is a mineral found in the soil. A small amount of it is contained in natural moisture. Despite this, it is a much more toxic substance than, for example, lead or iodine, and has no color or smell. He was able to poison bacteria, reducing their ability to feed, converting sugar into energy.
This dangerous property has made it the main weapon in the fight against tooth decay. However, it is dangerous not only for bacteria, but also for other living organisms - a lethal dose for humans is only 2-5 grams.
Perkins wrote: โIt should be noted that metallurgists around the world have never gone on strike. Is it because their fluorine-oversaturated organism is incapable of resistance?"
At that time, prominent figures in American health care and most ordinary citizens of the country scoffed at Perkins. And in vain. Only decades after the publication of his work was found irrefutable evidence of the negative effects of fluoride on the human brain and other organs.
It's not beer that kills people
In 1990, scientist Jennifer Luke of the University of Surrey in the UK discovered that an area of the human brain known as the pineal gland, or pineal gland, can store the same amount of fluoride as teeth. The pineal gland is popularly called the third eye and the organ of intuition, and Leonardo da Vinci, for example, considered it to be a link between body and soul.
And for good reason - after all, it is he who regulates sexual behavior and produces the hormones necessary for a person: growth hormone, melatonin and serotonin. Growth hormone regulates the growth and development of internal organs, melatonin slows down the aging process and strengthens the immune system, serotonin is responsible for attention, memory, and intellectual abilities in general.
Serotonin levels also affect a sense of fairness and trust, according to Molly Crockett of the University of California.
Oversaturation with fluorine leads to the fact that the pineal gland dries up and stops producing hormones in the amount necessary to maintain normal life. All this leads to sleep disturbance, learning ability, decreased critical thinking and libido. Hence passivity, inability to resist external stimuli and, finally, depression.
Experiments conducted by Harvard and Shanghai Medical Universities have shown that fluoride can cause a decrease in intelligence. Drinking beverages containing fluoride in a ppm ratio (average dose for industrial fluoridation) increases the absorption of aluminum in the brain, which over time leads to changes similar to Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
But oversaturation with fluoride reduces the function of not only the pineal, but also the thyroid gland. Stephen Peckham, professor at the Canadian School of Hygiene and Medicine at the University of Toronto, has established a link between fluoride and hypothyroidism, a condition that causes decreased thyroid hormone production. The body reacts to it by gaining excess weight, low blood pressure and increased fatigue.
Truth is at the bottom
Currently, at least one billion people in 24 countries receive artificially fluoridated water. These are mainly developed countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Great Britain, which are distinguished by a low crime rate and a high democracy. There it is consumed by at least 70% of the population.
In the United States alone, 194 million Americans drink this water in 43 of the 47 largest cities, representing 70% of the population. It is also common knowledge that Kellogg's, Nestle, Crest and other food manufacturers, nicknamed the "Fluoride Mafia," add fluoride to their products. These include toothpastes, sodas, chocolate bars, breakfast cereals, and more.
And pharmaceutical companies mix it into drugs, such as Prozac, America's best-selling antidepressant. All this is done with reference to research carried out half a century ago, which proved that fluoride protects teeth from caries.
And according to the latest research, the benefits of fluoride have been controversial. About 10 years ago, the University of York in Scotland found that the incidence of tooth decay in children across Europe has declined. The countries showing the largest declines - Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland and Denmark - have eliminated mandatory water fluoridation.
It should be noted that in Russia water is not fluorinated, but chlorinated, but this was not always the case. For the first time in Europe, chlorine was added to the water supply system in England in 1890 during a cholera epidemic. In 1908, this practice began to be applied in Russia. However, in the period from 1960 to 1990, for unclear reasons, chlorine was replaced by fluorine, and then chlorine was returned back.
Despite the fact that chlorine is also a poison and has a chemical formula similar to fluorine, its effect on the brain, in contrast to the effect of fluorine, has not yet been fully understood.
The question of whether public peace of mind is worth the suppressed will of the individuals that make up this society, asked by the hero of the film mentioned at the beginning of the article, remains open.
