On April 18, at the St. Petersburg Expoforum, more than 2000 representatives of the "creative class" discussed the digital economy at a forum named after herself. And it turned out that at least many specialists do not have a common understanding of what kind of animal it is. Moreover, some representatives of high-tech business, whom public opinion indiscriminately recorded as adherents of digitalization, showed themselves from the opposite side, as quite adequate people.

The term “Digital Economy” itself entered our life several years ago, with the light hand of a group of technocrats who dug themselves into Skolkovo and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). It is these structures, together with the Higher School of Economics, which is close to them in spirit, have been actively assimilating the Russian budget in recent years, releasing more than controversial and sometimes frankly creepy "foresight projects" like "Childhood 2030" or "Education 2030". Under the conditions of a nominal ban on ideology and the actual triumph of vulgar social Darwinism, these institutions took the place of spiritual leaders and suppliers of values and meanings of our "elite" - for which this very elite generously fed them all the time, unlike patriots. The "Digital Economy" invented in Skolkovo has become one of the main myths of the current political system, which turned out to be convenient both for those who make money from digitalization, in particular, bankers, and for the countless army of officials who began to repeat the mantra about the digital economy for any reason after President Putin used this phrase several times.

As yesterday's forum, which has become the first and so far the largest event in the digital economy in Russia, has shown, even among IT specialists and workers in the innovation sector, there is no common understanding of what the DE is. And the fantasies of Herman Gref, who dreams of living in the "neuroworld", turning people into cyborgs, and cow-in avatars, and for this it tries to undo cash turnoverand privatize state functions- these are the difficulties mainly of German Oskarovich himself and his attending physician, as well as some figures from Skolkovo - who need to somehow justify the billions received from the budget (by the way, the moderator of yesterday's forum Dmitry Peskov admitted that he and his colleagues at ASI and Skolkovo developed the government program "Digital Economy in the Russian Federation" -equally like other digital bills, which are recruited already more than 50 pieces).

Most normal people, including workers in innovative industries, are not at all ready to endow robots with equal rights with people and even transfer any significant functions to a computer, not to mention total control over a person, numbering people and arbitrary manipulations with personal data. It is against this, as Katyusha has already repeatedly said, that Orthodox believersdemanding by mouth Holy Patriarch, not to deprive them of the opportunity to live and work without chips and electronic dossiers, which can be accessed by anyone.

The main intrigue of the forum was the speech of the head of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais - who bluntly stated that he came to the CE forum to "speak out against the digital economy", that one should not forget about the real sector - and told how he and Gref shared the innovative world.

Although the attitude of the patriots towards the main privatizer of the country has long been formed, it is difficult to disagree with some of his theses. Perhaps the new rhetoric of Anatoly Borisovich is somehow connected with the anti-Russian sanctions of the United States and may be an indirect evidence of the beneficialness of the kick that our oligarchs received from their respected American ones, etc. "Partners" with whom they are used to meeting in the Bildelberg clubs.

As for German Gref, he did not come to the forum, having sent a deputy, apparently, Chubais's apparatus weight is still higher, or maybe German Oskarovich simply realized that in the current geopolitical situation he and his avatars may not be so understood.

And, in addition, not only a select audience with brainwashed came to the St. Petersburg Digital Forum, like the Duma or the Federation Council for hearings on digital economy, but also a lot of quite adequate people, including representatives of the real sector, who have not been allowed to discuss the DE until now.

The most striking event of the forum was the speech of a truly serious IT businessman, co-founder of Kaspersky Lab and the Infowatch project, Natalya Kaspersky, who directly called the Digital Economy a "media phenomenon" and even an "information bubble", exposing myths about Tesla's extraordinary digitalization and etc. "Advanced" companies, as well as the incredible benefits of digitalization in all spheres of life: "India started digitalization much earlier than we did, and as a result, it brought them a loss of 1% of GDP."
