Witte is a demonic figure in the history of Russia. Our fingers are curled up, talking about who contributed to the preparation of 1917 - they name Lenin, Trotsky, someone else, and I would put Witte in the first place. For 20 years in 1917, another event took place, which, unfortunately, not even all professional historians remember: in 1897, the so-called. monetary reform, which resulted in the emergence of the gold ruble, in other words, in modern terms, fully convertible currency. This idea was promoted, first of all, by the world financial oligarchy, which needed to have guarantees that they would be able to siphon resources from Russia, receiving investment income, rent in the form of gold rubles. On the one hand, these are guarantees for foreign investors, and, on the other hand, this is a golden stranglehold around the neck not only of Russia, but also of other states. This is the so-called. gold standard.

Perhaps Russia was one of the last to join the bloc of gold standard countries. In many states, the gold standard had different conditions. Russia almost 100% guaranteed the coverage of this monetary issue with its gold reserves. that is, there were not gold coins in circulation, but banknotes, which were covered by a gold reserve by 90-95%, while in other countries, for example, in Belgium, this percentage was 40% and lower. For Russia, the golden stranglehold was the tightest, therefore, for the development of our country, money was needed, for the printing of which a gold reserve was required, and in order to possess it, one of three sources or all of them had to be used.

The first source is gold mining. Under Witt, a significant part of the gold went abroad through various channels, including through Mongolia, China, Hong Kong, and then ended up in the safes of the Rothschild banks. No wonder Witte had special interests in the Far East, where gold was mined in the same way as beyond the Urals.

The second source is the surplus of payments and trade balance. Even Witte's predecessor, the Minister of Finance Vyshnegradskiy, said: "We will not eat, but we will take them out." It meant that we will mobilize grain resources in order to earn gold, i.e. Witte's predecessors also worked to create a gold reserve.

And finally, the third source is loans. Gold loans, which, naturally, were provided by those who had most of the gold, and these were the Rothschilds. On the eve of the First World War, in terms of many indicators of economic development, as well as the production of industrial and agricultural products, Russia was somewhere in the fourth, fifth or sixth places, and in terms of external debt it was in first place in the world.

The West hoped to turn Russia into a colony in this way. And providentially the Bolsheviks came to power, who by the end of 1917 announced that they were refusing to pay off the debts of the tsarist government and on debts that arose during the First World War. This is an interesting page in our history and, unfortunately, many historians have a poor understanding of the financial implications of this story.

According to sources, Witte was a freemason of a fairly high degree, if you carefully follow his biography, you can see that someone pushed him very strongly, someone very much moved him. He was a fairly minor official in Odessa, even for some time he was engaged in the sale of railway tickets. And suddenly there was an unexpected take-off: from the Finance Department of the Railway Department, he moved to the Ministry of Finance, where he quickly turned into a minister, then headed the Cabinet of Ministers.

Sergei Witte is a demonic figure for Russia. And, unfortunately, we have to prove this, because today another reconstruction of our history is underway, even some universities appear for them. Sergei Yulievich Witte, and in Moscow there is a boulevard named after Witte, etc.

Somehow he brought me to Ilyinka in the Ministry of Finance to a deputy. Minister of Finance, whose portrait I saw on the wall of Witte. Therefore, I am not surprised by the decisions taken by the Ministry of Finance.

A significant role was played by Witte's wife Matilda from Odessa. Since it was difficult for Sergei Yulievich to travel to Europe for Masonic gatherings, his wife was therefore a liaison with the West. There are books written on the subject of Witte's work and work. But, unfortunately, almost all books distort and even turn this whole story upside down. I have not yet seen the real biography of Witte. But I hope that there will be people who want to write the whole truth about Witt and that era.
