In historical circles, there is still no unequivocal opinion about where the culture and civilization of the Etruscans, developed at that time, disappeared. But historians agree that the Roman Empire emerged from its remnants. The versions in history and archeology are standard: the decline of civilization due to wars, conquests by aliens who conquered this territory, or epidemics and diseases.

Nowhere in a single source is it said about large-scale cataclysms as a probable cause of death and not only of this culture.

Sometimes enthusiasts go much further in their research than entire collectives of eminent historians. The information below on this topic has become such confirmation. I propose to look at the second part (of the three published so far) of the works of one researcher.

The video tells about the evidence of the Etruscans scrawled on the sarcophagi, who were hiding in the basements from the clay showers that destroyed Rome:

People huddled in basements and sat in houses in the hope that they would be saved there. But the clay showers did not stop and Rome was buried under its layers - all the old buildings were covered with 8 m of sediments. Here is the answer: where did the Etruscans go.

The video also contains interesting information on decoding the Etruscan language. This is also worth paying attention to. The language is very similar to some Slavic dialect of the peoples of Eastern Europe. As confirmation of the work of G. S. Grinevich that Etruscan writing is close to Russian, that it is one of the Slavic languages.

Ostia Antica. Excavations 1938-42 under Mussolini. During this period, Rome was also dug up.

As you can see, the excavations confirm what the video says. What was this clay from heaven? Volcanic ash? Gas-dust space cloud? There is very little dust from the passing comet, I do not think that its tail could bring such volumes of clay to the Earth.

My opinion is volcanic ash.

Pompeii from a bird's eye view. As we can conclude, not the whole city has been excavated.

By the way, this catastrophe did not happen then, as historians say - not in October 79 AD. It actually happened on December 16, 1631. Found medieval artifacts speak about it. But this information about the dating of the event is a topic for a separate article.

In addition to Pompeii, another city, Herculaneum, perished during the eruption of Vesuvius.

Herculaneum today. Pay attention to the level of the modern soil and the ancient level on which the buildings are built.

So why archaeologists here assert unequivocally that these cities were buried in ash, and when they see the same picture, for example, in Rome, they cannot accept this version? I think this is due to the fact that in the case of the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum, they see gray volcanic ash (albeit caked) and the remains of bodies, skeletons, which are sintered from the high temperature of this ash.

And in the case of excavations in places remote from volcanoes - clay. What is the difference between clay and volcanic ash? The fact is that clay is a product of water erosion. But if the ash could cause condensation of atmospheric moisture on it and fall out with mud showers with the simultaneous oxidation of its chemical compounds, then there is no contradiction. Hot, incandescent ash will oxidize faster in storm streams. Because it contains iron compounds, then from the gray color you will get red, yellow, red and their variations (depending on the degree of oxidation and the amount of iron compounds).

And this liquid mud flooded everything where volumes of ash from volcanoes fell out with showers. This could happen more than once in varying degrees of catastrophe and even in remote places.

chispa1707reported a comment in his journal:

About the eruptions of the volcanoes Krakatau in 1883, Etna in 1669, Tambora in 1815. many have heard. More details

And for example, about African people - no one at all. In Africa (Sahara) and Arivia, the number of craters is so huge that the silence of geology on this matter looks strange.

List of major volcanic eruptions in the distant geological past, there are many tens of cases.

And if geologists are wrong in their dates? What if it was in historical times?
