By the way, okapi is a species of artiodactyls, the only representative of the okapi genus (lat. Okapia). At first glance, the okapi look more like a horse than a giraffe in physique, and they also have stripes on their limbs, like a zebra. Nevertheless, the okapi are quite far from equine, since they belong to a completely different order (but to a certain extent they are similar to the ancient, less specialized, common ancestors of giraffes).

The opening took place at 13:00. Dmitry Alexandrov, executive director of the RGO MOO, performed on the stage, Alexander Fedulin, chairman of the RGO MOO, Vitaly Vladimirovich Sundakov, President of the OKAPI club, a famous Russian traveler.

Sundakov Vitaly highlighted the main goals of the club:
