And now attention - Hodge, at the same time, was one of the organizers of an experiment to study the effect of radiation on the health of people who were inoculated with plutonium. It would seem, what is the connection?
Straight. He was the Chief Toxicologist for the Manhattan Project. The goal of this project was to develop an atomic bomb, which was later dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Hodge investigated the toxicity of all the chemicals that were used in the manufacture of the atomic bomb, including fluorides, which were used in large quantities to create the bomb.
Hodge was tasked with promoting information that could help the government and the army defend against personal injury lawsuits. Conversely, all information that could be used against the army must be removed.
After all, if it were found that water fluoridation is harmful, all organizations working with fluorine, including the Nuclear Energy Commission, the US government and the army, would be subject to countless lawsuits. Simultaneously with Hodge, a renowned physician and activist of the theory of fluorization, Dr. Kihou published a large scientific work on the beneficial effects of fluorides.
