In his traditional address to the Federal Assembly in 2019, President Vladimir Putin voiced the demographic problem in Russia and outlined the key task - to achieve natural population growth at the turn of 2023-2024. For the same purposes, the national project "Demography" has been allocated 3.5 trillion. rubles until 2024.

The amount is rather big, but, as it often happens with us, it comes out smoothly in words and on paper. The April data of Rosstat indicate a rapid (as if natural) population decline (see Katyusha's article “Russian women stopped giving birth”), Social Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said the same in July. Finally, on August 31 of this year. came the official disappointing statistics from the collection of the Ministry of Health, indicating that Russia continues to be the world leader in the number of abortions, and the number of children's and perinatal state medical institutions as a result of planned "optimization" has decreased by 2-3 times. And this, alas, is not the end of the state's withdrawal from the health care "market".

The editorial staff of Katyusha got acquainted with the statistical report of the Ministry of Healthcare "Main indicators of maternal and child health, the activities of the child protection and obstetric services" levels. In rare cases, the number of regional, regional and republican organizations increased slightly, but exclusively due to the destruction of city hospitals. As you can see from the table below, the number of city children's hospitals has halved over 13 years, while some of them have become regional branches. As a result, the number of the latter has increased by as much as 8, and the number in urban areas has decreased by 141. Moreover, in all districts of the Russian Federation there are regions where state multidisciplinary children's institutions are generally absent as a class.

The same applies to specialized children's hospitals: infectious diseases and tuberculosis. Everywhere there is a continuous reduction.

The number of maternity hospitals in Russia has halved in 13 years. They were replaced by perinatal centers (on paper - organizations of a wider specialization, which make it possible to successfully manage pregnancies with pathology, take very difficult births, save babies immediately after childbirth, etc.). But not every region can boast of the presence of such an institution.

The number of children's polyclinics in Russia has decreased over the same period by almost half, and health care centers - by three times. There are many regions in which such institutions are completely absent, for example: Leningrad, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Ivanovsk, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Samara regions, the Republic of Crimea and many others.

The number of obstetric, gynecological beds, as well as beds for pregnant women and women in labor in all hospitals in the Russian Federation from 2005 to 2018. also significantly decreased (for a number of indicators - almost two times). And this is in a country that is rapidly losing population! Obviously, if the appropriate conditions are not created to support women's health, pregnancy and childbirth, the new generation of Russians will simply have nowhere to be born.

Finally, we turn to one of the main threats to demography - infanticide, which in the Russian Empire, for example, was called "criminal expulsion", was legalized by the Bolshevik leader Lenin in a decree of 1920 and was again prohibited by Stalin in 1936 (only in the 30s years of the last century, a deliberately neutral definition of "abortion" that does not define the essence of the operation has taken root in our medicine). After the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1955, abortions were decriminalized, and the number of innocently murdered children in the womb in the RSFSR alone until 1991 ranged from 4-5.5 million.annually (hereinafter, the data of the international project of prolife activists Abortion Worldwide Report are used, which in their tables always refer to the national statistics of countries correlated with the information of the UN, WHO, UNICEF, etc.).

Then the situation with the number of abortions improved slightly, but due to the extremely low birth rate and the genocidal socio-economic policy of liberal "reformers" in 1993, there were 235 abortions per 100 births (Demoscope Weekly data). Katyusha has repeatedly talked about the powerful lobby of depopulators in the Russian government, who strictly follow the instructions of the World Bank, the IMF and their mouthpieces - NPOs like the International Planned Parenthood Federation. They blatantly ignore and sabotage the initiatives of individual lawmakers, in particular, Senator Elena Mizulina, the Russian Orthodox Church, and the For Life! and the majority of Orthodox citizens on the abolition of the "tax on infanticide" (exclusion of abortion from medical services under the compulsory medical insurance) and their complete ban.

And now - new data from the Ministry of Health, from which it follows that 567183 abortions were performed in Russia in 2018 - almost three times less than in 2005. This reduction is very encouraging, besides, there are 35.7 infanticides per 100 born in the Russian Federation, and in 2005, for example, there were as many as 105.4 - this is the source of population decline within the framework of infant demography alone.

And a couple more important figures that are powerful arguments against lobbyists for sex education in Russian schools - cases of abortion among minors are decreasing every year, becoming a great rarity. The share of abortions among girls under 14 years old of the total number in 2018 is 0.06%, among girls 15-17 years old - 2.17% (in 2010 it was 8.41%). As you can see, our younger generation does not need early sexualization at all, we do not have any "sexual illiteracy". Moreover, there are illustrative examples like the American one, where cases of "unplanned" teenage pregnancy occur most often in the world (data from the American edition of the Journal of Adolescent Health).

However, one should not be too happy - if we talk about the number of abortions in Russia as a whole, it would be logical to compare it with the population of the country. In addition, according to the AWR, 733,000 abortions were performed in Russia in 2018 - a more serious figure than that of the Ministry of Health. We compared this figure with their data for other countries over the past year (all figures are taken from open sources) - and this is what we got.

Percentage ratio of the number of abortions to the population of the country:

1. RUSSIA - 733,000 abortions (AWR data) - 0.50%

2. China - 6,800,000 (AWR data) - 0.48%

3. France - 203,000 (AWR data) - 0.31%

4. Vietnam - 275,000 (AWR data) - 0.29%

5. USA - 829100 (AWR data) - 0.25%

6. India - 794,000 (AWR data) - 0.06%

If we recalculate the data for Russia on the number of abortions from the Ministry of Health (627127), we get 0.43% of infanticides of the total population. Then China comes out on top, but the picture will not change much. We continue to be the leaders in the number of abortions in the world, and social guarantees of power, in the form of, for example, maternity capital and preferential mortgages for families with two or more children, cannot fundamentally improve the situation. And the closure of maternity hospitals, obstetric centers, children's hospitals and polyclinics, as you might guess, further aggravates the Russian demographic hole. So the time has come to take tough demographic measures - in the name of the survival of our people, let it be in spite of the same liberal-globalist government and the same lovers of "optimization" of state medicine in the Ministry of Health including the Russian-language liberal media). Many of them, including the phased abortion cancellation, will be discussed on September 6-8 at the IX International Festival of Social Technologies in Defense of Family Values "For Life-2019" (for more details about the place, time and program of the festival, see here
