"Paratroopers do not fight with fellow citizens"
"The Airborne Forces have always performed and will continue to perform the most difficult tasks at the forefront of any war, defending their people. But not in a fratricidal massacre. This is our principle. I emphasize that the paratroopers do not fight with their fellow citizens, but protect them," the commander of the Airborne Forces said.
"Can the representatives of this brigade be called paratroopers now? In my deep conviction, no," Shamanov said.
Let go with weapons
The commander of the Airborne Forces recalled that at the end of March, a unit of the 25th Ukrainian airmobile brigade from Dnepropetrovsk, numbering 61 people, was blocked in Crimea, which were making a field exit near Simferopol.
"The Ukrainian paratroopers really caught the Crimean events during field exercises at a training ground near Simferopol. But they refused to obey Kiev when they were ordered to shoot at Crimeans and Russian servicemen," the commander of the Airborne Forces noted.
He said that then, through the Union of Russian Paratroopers, "our Ukrainian brothers" contacted the command of the Airborne Forces with a request to release these guys.
"Then the veteran paratroopers and I personally turned to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu with such a request. The minister very carefully approached this difficult situation," Shamanov said.
“Therefore, he continued,“even after blocking this unit, it was not disarmed. Moreover, the Minister of Defense ordered to treat them with respect and was the only one who allowed them to leave Crimea with all standard weapons - personal and collective.”
They betrayed everything they taught
"Those paratroopers, the commander emphasized, were faithful to the main principle of the Airborne Forces - not to fight with their people. Not to obey those who give criminal orders to shoot their fellow citizens."
After the events in southeastern Ukraine, Shamanov considers paratroopers "only those of them who refused to go to war with the people."
“We know that it is not easy for them now, and we will support all of them in the future through our veteran organizations,” the general assured.
“I am convinced that real paratroopers have never been gendarmes. And those who today are trying to cling to our brotherhood and shoot at Donetsk and Luhansk people, I don’t congratulate you on Airborne Forces Day. This is not their holiday,” the commander said.
In his opinion, these people "betrayed everything that Vasily Filippovich Margelov (General of the Army, Hero of the Soviet Union, creator of the modern Airborne Forces) taught us."
The editors of the sedition.info portal congratulate all real paratroopers on their professional holiday, but people who do not belong to this title can simply rejoice for our defenders and watch a wonderful film Russian character. General Margelov's personal file.
Annotation to the film on the link:
Vasily Margelov is still a mystery to historians. Why did the Minister of Defense forbid paratrooper # 1 from parachuting, why did the US President scare his marines with the name of Margelov, why the party elite was afraid to entrust the airborne troops to him, and, finally, why did Margelov sacrifice his own son to conduct a risky experiment? We looked for answers to these questions in the personal file of Vasily Filipovich. All these years it was closed even to his close relatives. This issue contains the forgotten heroes of Margelov's reforms and unique personnel classified as "secret".

A passing tradition of family and holiday feasts
In my childhood, big feasts happened very often. Relatives and friends gathered at the table every holiday. There were always not enough chairs, they were sometimes borrowed from neighbors or simply put a board on two stools. It turned out to be an impromptu shop. Of course, my parents also had such special boards. But the feasts themselves, leaving, or rather, they are a thing of the past
15 Russian corpses for the Jewish holiday
On Monday, September 17, at about 22:00, a Russian Il-20 electronic reconnaissance aircraft disappeared over the Mediterranean Sea at the time of a raid by four Israeli F-16 fighters of the Israeli Air Force, which struck with guided aerial bombs on Syrian targets near the city of Latakia
