The British Library has a French translation of the Historia de proelis (Le Livre et le vraye hystoire du Bon Roy Alixandre) from 1420, written in France. In it we can see excellent illustrations of the exploits of Alexander the Great. Alexander met a great many different monsters, here and three-horned and dragons, strange elephants, snowmen covered with wool, Amazons, forest people, cyclops, one-eyed people without a head, giants and many other creatures, which Macedonian considered monsters and without hesitation exterminated everyone.
It is worth noting that in addition to the extermination of the animal world, Alexander was engaged in aeronautics and even created a submarine on which he plunged into the depths of the waters with a dog and a rooster in the form of experimental animals for experiment and tracking their behavior at depth.
You can, of course, write off everything on the unrestrained imagination of Alexander himself or the chroniclers, but strange creatures can be seen on other ancient engravings. For example, Snowmen and People living in the ocean.
This bas-relief was created in 1486.
Dragons are generally present in various ancient drawings, frescoes, etc., and so on in a great variety. Apparently, dinosaurs at that time were still freely walking around our planet.

In general, the ancient noble knights had one manic idea - to kill everything that came in their way, for example - unicorns.
To kill a dragon, the knights considered it an honor and then glorified their exploits by drawing images of the "creatures" they had killed on their coats of arms and shields.
However, in ancient Egypt there are enough images of strange creatures.

Note this page from the 1485 manuscript. The unicorn is drawn as an integral and completely ordinary part of the then animal world.
And here are the dragons engaged in terrorizing the city in 1450. Probably after such dragon raids, the ladies fainted, and the knights grabbed their swords and rushed to kill the dragons.
Dragons were also found in the ocean and people did not disdain to eat, judging by this drawing.

The Sumerians in ancient times served the gods from the planet Nibiru and did not complain about anything.
In general, judging by the ancient annals, someone strenuously conducted genetic experiments on Earth, as a result of which a great many strange creatures appeared.
The heavenly host also joined in the extermination of all kinds of hybrids and dinosaurs. They did some experiments, and then decided to clean up the defective products.
In general, there are many amazing artifacts in the world. Here is a strange "coffin" in Singapore.
Whatever one may say, but the appearance of a man was not without alien intervention.
