Evidence of the Deep State in Russia

The term "Deep State" has long and firmly entered the arsenal of our journalism and analytics. All attempts to attribute the concept to a conspiracy theory break up against a completely scientific interpretation of the term as a concentration of management in the hands of certain groups of civil servants and members of expert communities, creating informal institutions for their interaction and acting behind the scenes of public policy.

The formation of such structures is such a normal process that it is described by Parkinson's law, which expressed, in a half-joking form, quite real tendencies of the world of management. In this case, Parkinson's Law states that in any large group assembled to discuss and implement management issues, a small group will always form, which will take over all the agreements and decisions. Taking control of a small group is a necessity caused by the clumsiness of large groups and the inability to respond quickly to problems … Thus, the deep state is a kind of spontaneously emerging headquarters, working in parallel with the officially operating headquarters.

The Deep State is not just a lobbying group, but a shadow government, sometimes more powerful than the real government. As a subject of governance, the deep state is a conglomerate of groups focused on the implementation of the main strategic goal, which is considered by this elite group as a priority for the state in which it operates. Often the deep state seeks to influence the activities of formal authorities to such an extent that it can completely paralyze their work.

Wikipedia describes only two types of deep state - American and Turkish. In the United States, the deep state expresses the interests of globalists, seeking to limit Trump's activities as much as possible, and in Turkey it expresses conservative and statist interests. In both the United States and Turkey, the activities of the Deep State are, in one way or another, directed for expansion, expansion of the sphere of influence of the state in the world and suppression of liberal, democratic and leftist movements and tendencies. For the United States, this is a perfectly appropriate description, since formally speaking on behalf of liberalism, in The United States is essentially practicing totalitarianism, using total manipulation of the mass consciousness.and has nothing to do with liberalism. Historian A. I. Fursovonce noticed that liberalism in the West generally died at the beginning of the 20th century and its funeral took place during the Great Depression in the United States.

What is then called liberalism, in fact, is not such, but is the dictatorship of radical groups of supranational governance and coordination, the so-called World Government. The USA intends to carry out its expansion precisely through this form. Turkey, on the other hand, seeks to restore the Ottoman Empire, and its expansion is based on the use of traditionalist and corporatist ideology. But one way or another, the deep state as a community of figures striving to achieve the goals of expansion exists and has common features.

If the term is understood in this way, then we can say that the deep state exists everywhere in those countries whose elites are aimed at expansion as a means of ensuring national interests. Of course, they are in England, and in Germany, and in Sweden, and in Denmark, and in Italy, and in Turkey, and in Iran, and in Israel, and in China. It is difficult to assume that they are not in Russia either.

How else to explain the Putin phenomenonwhen, in the midst of the domination of comprador groups, which are usually called liberals, in Russia a seizure of control is carried out and its gradual reorientation to a course that clearly rejects comprador principles and is entering an ever-deeper conflict with the goals of the global Anglo-Saxon elites?

This can only be explained by the presence in Russia of its own deep state, whose activities did not stop for a minute even during the collapse of the USSR, the period of Yeltsin's rule and the surrender of all state and national interests. It is no coincidence that Putin, by his first decision, canceled the Production Sharing Agreement, which allowed TNK to simply rob Russia for the extraction of hydrocarbons. From that moment on, the West began a confrontation with Putin, who for a long time tried to appear liberaland avoid conflict until it has been possible to strengthen statehood and renew the army.

Deep State in Russia exists, and traces of its activities are visible to the naked eye. It is not known whether it has an order principle, but it is obvious that there are several levels of depth, there is a certain center and there is its peripheral circles, there is an influence of these forces on politics and this influence goes against the interests of the media, the main financial groups and the former administrative teams. The goal of the deep state in Russia is the expansion of Russia - economic, informational, political, military. That is, the deep state in Russia pursues imperial goals and considers this to be the country's only form of survival. Not every state is able to afford such goals; there are only a few such states in the world. Russia is among them.

Various institutions and strategies can serve as tools for mobilizing the population around this idea. For example, in the USSR, the CPSU organizationally and ideologically provided expansion, but when these tools turned out to be unusable, they were abandoned. Now the deep state in Russia ensures the organization of the fulfillment of the goals of expansion through many existing institutions, such as the government, the State Duma, the ruling and opposition parties, despite their considerable contamination of the fifth column, key figures in the media, and the ideology so far prefers not to formulate, albeit implicitly it is clearly present in discourse and the whole society not only understands it, but also shares it.

On the whole, the deep state took control of the situation after the defeat of the USSR and its usual institutions of government. The direct agents of the enemy have been squeezed out of the legislative and executive bodies, the agents of influence have been taken under control and localized, and effective neutralization mechanisms have been selected for their activities.

But the most important signs of a deep state in Russia are return of Crimea and victory in Syria … The disruption of the "Ukrainian card" against Russia also revealed the ability of the deep state in Russia to find an antidote to the poison produced by Western think tanks. The main advantage of the deep state of Russia is its lack of identification.

Russia also very quickly not only snatched Crimea from NATO, but also provided amortization of the sanctions damage. Disconnection from SWIFT no longer threatens Russia with financial collapse. Food safety has been created, although there are gaps in some items, but there is also the possibility of import from other countries. The sanctions didn't work. The elites have not split.

The fact that these operations required a completely different quality military-industrial complex, armed forces, intelligence and command structures, became clear unexpectedly when the job had already been done and the West was faced with a dilemma - nuclear clash with Russia or organized retreat … The West chose the latter. But I realized that the victory over Russia turned out to be a delusion, Russia is winning back the lost.

Any return to lost positions is an offensive. And any offensive is expansion, an activity aimed at expanding borders. And that is why the West reacts so painfully to all the signs of Russia's expansion, trying to fix its affected state and totally limit its information and financial instruments for ensuring this expansion. Thus, pushing Russia to take further steps to separate its vital systems from the West.

And all these actions are impossible without strengthening the deep state in Russia - the group of people that creates the conditions for transforming society and achieving new frontiers of development. The Russian Deep State has entered a deadly invisible battle with the US Deep State. The forces, as usual, are unequal, but in Russia, since the time of Suvorov, they have been fighting not by number, but by skill. And judging by the results, it turns out very well.
