Video: Frozen planes scare eyewitnesses

Metropolitan motorists report a strange and slightly frightening phenomenon seen in the south-west of the region near the Vnukovo airport. According to eyewitness accounts, planes approaching land constantly “freeze” in the air at the same place. This is clearly visible, since before landing, the airliners fly very low above the ground.
Optical illusion or some kind of geomagnetic anomaly? - users of social networks wonder. Definitely not "photoshop".
In fact, it is not the first year that they have been trying to unravel this anomaly, if you track messages on forums and in social networks. The topic pops up every now and then, but not all branches and not all resources come to an unambiguous answer.
A new round of discussion began these days after one of the eyewitnesses published a fresh video from the highway leading to the airport. The footage shows a view of the sky above the road from the passenger compartment. Towards, almost over the highway, a plane flies low. And the closer the car approaches it, the clearer it becomes: the liner is not moving anywhere, it literally hovers over one point.
There are a lot of such videos from this route on the Web.
The videos were filmed by different drivers at different times of the year and under different weather conditions.
In a fresh discussion started in the Lentach community, users joke in full force: "Failure in the matrix", "Not a bug, but a feature", "Invisible wall, flew out of the map", "We pay for the fare, or we won't fly anywhere" … There are also jokes on topical political topics a la "the plane owes nothing to anyone, including flying somewhere." Lentach even asked Vnukovo officials for a comment. So far, the airport has not commented on this topic in any way.
However, the answer seems to be simple - an optical illusion. As suggested by a number of users, there is such a phenomenon as parallax - a change in the apparent position of an object relative to a distant background, depending on the position of the observer. In this case, the background against which the eye determines the position of the aircraft is the tops of the trees near the road. In this case, the plane itself moves in the direction opposite to the observer - the driver -.

Why planes don't fly over Tibet
If you look at the flight map of passenger aircraft for a long time, you will notice that liners almost never fly through some parts of the globe. There are not so many such places on the globe. One of them is Tibet - a mountainous region in Central Asia, which today is considered the territory of the People's Republic of China
Why are there no parachutes on passenger planes?
Anyone who is more or less interested in a person arises a natural question: why, with all the development of aviation technology, there are no rescue systems, ejection systems, or even banal parachutes in passenger airplanes?
How and why aircraft fuel is dropped from planes
Everyone has heard at least once that airplanes during flight, for one reason or another, can discharge fuel. It is not difficult to guess, even without special knowledge, that any such discharge is an emergency, compulsory measure. However, it doesn't get any easier from realizing this. What happens to kerosene? Does he really have every chance of falling on people's heads?
