Video: Vorontsov Palace

This topic was first raised by Lev Khudoy in the article "The Impossible Vorontsov Palace", for which many thanks to him. Being in Crimea in July 2017, I could not help but bypass such a wonderful place and check with my own eyes whether what was written is true and is it really so.
It turned out to be true, even more than true. But first things first.
As it turned out, not only the palace was built from dolerite, or as the guides from diabase say. Everything around the palace is made of this stone. A couple of hundred meters from the palace at the top on a hill is a square with shops and a parking lot, and so the steps to it (stairs) are also made of this stone. And the curbs along the stairs. Likewise down to the sea and to the sides. And all sorts of statues too. The very landscape of this area is a dolerite slope of the mountain. He's there everywhere. In the form of rocks, cobblestones, walls, etc. The enclosure (lattice, fence walls) of the palace in places simply joins in some kind of dolerite cobblestone.
Huge blocks of dolerite are visible behind the fence.
In general, the stone itself is fine-grained and is very similar to ordinary cement-sand concrete. At first I even had a thought - isn't it all concrete? And the rocks are streamlined, as if they were poured from a giant bucket. However, the reference material directly indicates that dolerite is a product of the outflow of igneous rocks and, in fact, is solidified volcanic lava, like basalt. In the Crimea, seismic activity is high, outcrops of igneous rocks could well have been. So the question of "concrete" is removed from the agenda.
Here you can see that the dolerite fence is joined by the dolerite cobblestone.
The walls of the fence around the palace complex are quite thick and consist of blocks. Despite the fact that the internal blocks are thin and are only a facade decorative finish. The inner part of the fence was laid in a random way from untreated stones laid on a hardening mortar. The most interesting thing is that the cobblestones collected are different, not only dolerite. There are also ordinary granite. Here, the truth arises a logical question - is this not a remake? Or traces of restoration?
Now let's take a look at the palace itself. It has complex geometric shapes. Pay attention to the window openings.
And here on the window frames. They are made of stone! Even if it were a material much softer than diabase, I personally cannot imagine how this can be done so as not to split or break. And this is certainly not done by hammering on a chisel. But only with a high-speed tool. Or if you cast it in a mold. Pay attention to the fact that the horizontal bar is intact, the vertical ones are attached to it.
The ornament of the palace is oversaturated with decors of the most complex form.
It looks like the pointed dome is one piece with the upper block. In any case, I did not see the seam.
And here the domes (domes) of the turrets are hollow inside!
I remember Dr. Watson …
Entrance groups (doors) are also not simple. And even with bas-reliefs.
And on the one hand a boy, on the other a girl. Apparently for a reason.
The threshold is also of the most complex shape (lateral parts).
What kind of cutters were used to sharpen this way, I can not imagine.
It is logical to assume that this is not machining, but casting. There are a lot of supporters of this version. However, the facts suggest otherwise. There are traces of the mechanical processing of the stone, and now I will show it.
Here you can clearly see that the "plane" walked over the "wild" stone and removed a few millimeters of the layer. Despite the fact that the "plane" and the cutter were already working on the finished window and doorway. A similar technology is now used in the manufacture of door and arched openings in intra-apartment partitions from tongue-and-groove slabs, first a wall is made, then an opening of any shape is cut into it.
Closer examination shows the step and tooth of the "planer" and the cutter. "The same step with a sufficient interval indicates a constant speed of the tool, and a sufficiently high speed. The processing of the stone was fast and surprisingly easy. As if soft. A similar mark is left by a hand saw in gypsum slabs and aerated concrete blocks in modern construction and interior decoration.
The work of the cutter is also clearly visible here.
Moreover, on the fence, the dressing of the stone is different. It is of inferior quality. I don't know if this part of the fence was exposed to water erosion, that is, it was in the water for some time, or the cutter was different. Both options are equally possible, given that this part of the fence is about 5-10 meters below the palace. If we assume the option of water erosion, it turns out that the rise in the water level in the Black Sea in the 18th century can be accurately determined - approximately to the level of the palace walls. And this is 45-50 meters from the current level. The fact that the palace is older than the official history tells us is an indisputable fact. Count Vorontsov with his peasants, of course, did not build anything and could not build in principle. This is the work of the masters of the past oecumene. Great masters. And the count is a fine fellow in that he cleared it all, put it in order and kept it for the heirs.
However, not everything has survived. There are also debris, in particular of the columns.
And we do not observe any traces of reinforcement in the wreckage.
The steps of the main staircase also speak in favor of the assumption that for some time the lower part of the palace complex was under water. They have pronounced traces of erosion and delamination.
Despite the fact that the traces from the saw are just as clearly visible.
A careful examination of the "wild" stone in the vicinity of the palace also made it possible to highlight traces of delamination. Despite the fact that the outside of the "wild" stone for some reason is partially colored red. Apparently algae …
In order to finally cut off thoughts about the concrete nature of the stone, I will give a couple of photos with traces of quartz veins that are possible only in natural stone and cannot be repeated with concrete technology. These quartz veins, as well as the texture pattern of natural stone, are clearly visible both on walls and on steps, on fences, etc.
By the way, the steps of the stairs are also not simple. Let's see how the bottom step is made. And you weren't lazy?
If you go down the stairs, where a common tourist usually does not go, you can find absolutely amazing things. Something you don't expect at all. Namely, stone statues. This fact only indicates that the palace complex was not built by Christians or other Muslims (Mohammedans) or Jews. The sculptures are also made of dolerite, although the quality of stone processing is low, plus obvious traces of water erosion. It is difficult to say unequivocally why this is so, perhaps the builders of the palace worshiped these gods. Although the bas-reliefs on the doors …, in general, something pagan is definitely present here. And in the ornament of fireplaces inside the palace there are also Vedic notes, but more on that in the next part of the article.
Naturally, marble is also present. How can it be without him. All sorts of lions, bowls, vases, baths, etc. In general, it is very beautiful and I advise everyone to visit this place.
This bath is very coffin-like. Suggests some thoughts.
A huge plane tree with a diameter of more than one and a half meters grows near the ticket offices in the upper part of the palace complex. Apparently he has seen a lot, it is a pity that he cannot tell.
Now let's take a look inside.
The tour of the palace begins with an inspection of the stands with the history of construction. Who is interested in the official history read Wikipedia or other official reference books. I will not repeat it, it is not interesting to me. We will only look at what will help open the veil of the secrets of true history. Let's start with this lithography.
The first thing that attracts attention is the lack of vegetation. A pitiful bush on the left and that's it. Let me remind you that now the entire mountainside is buried in greenery. It can be seen that the site in front of the palace is below ground level. Here's what. Either during the construction a certain area was cut down, or we observe some traces of a certain superficial layer. Both options are possible. Or maybe both together.
Go ahead. The other side, from the sea. Again, a lunar landscape, not even a blade of grass. On the left you can see a huge cobblestone, the question is how did it end up there and why was it not removed during construction (blown up, split, taken out)? And where does the staircase go? Into the sand! Now there is the lower tier of the complex with stairs and another fence. And the stone idols are there too. Under the sand. It is very likely that this part of the palace complex has not yet been cleared, which means that the version in the flood in the 18th century finds another confirmation.
Next, we see such a picture. Vegetation appears. The coastline has a huge number of boulders. Pay attention to the sailboat in the lower left corner, it floats around the island. And on a white building at the water's edge.
And that's how it is now. The water level is lower by about the height of the building, that is, about 10 meters somewhere. Apparently, this is actually a building of the first half of the 19th century, when large-scale work was underway to clear and restore the palace complex.
The caption on the picture gives us a clear date. Can you believe? I don’t know, although we only care about the fact. The fact of a different water level ~ 150-200 years ago.
There are many stands with pictures. But in fact, only this one is interesting, showing that at the beginning of the 20th century, the lower terrace with fences (and idols) had already been cleared. Left photo.
Although no, I'm lying. There is one more very remarkable stand. According to the version of academic science, it was with such tools that the palace complex was built. By the way, the hardness of iron is 300-600 MPa (from the steel grade), and the hardness of diabase is 630 MPa. For example - granite about 320-370 MPa (from the type), marble 90-130 MPa, concrete (from the brand) from 170 to 300 MPa. These data are in any reference book.
We will not consider furniture and other interior decoration of the palace, because it is very likely a remake. In the best case, indeed the 19th century, and most likely already post-war, because the Nazis most likely all that can be resisted - resisted. Who cares how inside - look, there are a lot of pictures on the Internet. I will focus only on the fireplaces, for they are quite remarkable.
As a builder and finisher, I will say that the fireplaces are workers, and not some kind of props, as we will admit in the Catherine Palace in Pushkin near St. Petersburg.
The material from which this fireplace is made is very interesting. This is not diabase. It is very similar to granite, but in the vicinity of St. Petersburg, where I live, I have not seen such granite, although I climbed on all fours for kilometers collecting material on this topic. In the future, there will be a large article on granite and myths around it, including concrete technologies. There are granite of a similar composition, but it is only gray or black. I have never met a red one with such a composition. In St. Petersburg, red is the so-called rapakivi, but its structure is completely different. Hence the conclusion that either it is artificial granite, or somewhere on Earth there is a place where such granite exists in its natural form. Artificial granite is also supported by the fact that we do not see quartz veins and other textured streaks characteristic of natural granite. In general, I have a tendency to assume that this is generally a remake. Modern remake. Specifically in this case. But well done. And most likely from old drawings or photographs.
But in the next hall we see exactly gray granite. And we also clearly observe the texture stains characteristic of natural stone. And the ornament is daunting, typical for the entire palace complex. So this room with fireplaces seems to be really dear and ancient.
Close inspection shows that the stone is not young. Of course it was cleaned and polished, but all the same it looks much older than the one made of red granite. That one shines like a kitchen countertop, and this one with a noble shimmer characteristic of the masters of the past, when the same wooden parts were rubbed exclusively with wax, and not all sorts of shiny varnishes that irritate the eyes. Chips are also visible.
The level of stone processing is prohibitive. I have no idea how and how this can be done. Especially if we assume that it is not gray granite (by the way, much harder than red), but diabase. But in appearance it is still gray granite. Diabase has a finer grain size.
And this is another fireplace. Central, the largest.
It will seem to you that it is of a different color, but I just experimented with the settings in the phone for better shooting, it is quite dark in the hall.
These protrusions are extremely difficult to make. If we assume that the cutter was working creating rows of protrusions, then how it bypassed these protrusions is unclear. Jewelry work.
And this is generally space. By the way, the texture pattern of the stone is clearly visible in the upper part, this is not concrete.
And here the ornament is applied on a CONVEX plane!
In the right and left corners we see the coats of arms. According to the official history, these are the family coats of arms of Count Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov himself and his wife Elizaveta Ksaveryevna Branitskaya (coat of arms Korchak). However, we do not know whether these surnames (genera) had marriage or other unions before the middle of the 19th century. A set of facts suggests that such connections should be. Moreover, it is necessary to look for them not only earlier than the middle of the 18th century, when a catastrophe occurred on the Black Sea, but earlier than the conventional 13-14th century, when a global catastrophe occurred with a global flood and the death of civilization. By the way, the coat of arms of the Korchaks had many clans (surnames), almost all of Eastern Europe, so there may even be a banal coincidence.
Coat of arms of the Korchakov
Vorontsov coat of arms
In my opinion, Count M. S. Vorontsov not just arrived in Crimea and not just became the governor of Novorossiya, and later, in addition, also the governor of the entire Caucasus. I think he just returned to his native nest, or to one of the nests.
The triangle with three stars can be encompassed by some Vedic motives. Three stars, for example, three hypostases of the Sun (born, strong and dying), a triangle is a symbol of time and life. I cannot explain the rest yet.
On the adjacent (third) fireplace in the corners in the ornament we see four and five-pointed crosses. There is definitely an intention in this and it can be substantiated exclusively by Vedic motives. Apparently, solar signs in this case are somehow connected with fire. Three fireplaces can be identified with three phases of the life of the sun and / or fire. Birth (fire), flame (light, warmth …), extinction.
There are 5 rays …
There are 4 beams here.
In addition to granite fireplaces, there are also marble ones. They are also beautiful and also of a complex shape.
This concludes with fireplaces and move on to the "winter garden". A remarkable place. Very nice and light.
Lots of marble.
The last photo shows a girl made of marble. A very remarkable thing. More about it. According to the guide, this girl is in the top 100 of the greatest sculptures in the world. Let's not bother ourselves with demagoguery about whether the master voiced by the official history could have done this, we'll just carefully consider. The first thing that catches your eye is not the freshness of the marble. In the Hermitage in St. Petersburg there is a great variety of different crafts made of marble from different eras, and I looked at them well. Although this girl has been cleaned an infinite number of times and is being watched very closely, in general it is clear that the statue is not young, or rather not fresh. In the depressions of depressions and pits, it is cloudy, rusty, etc. In live it is clearly visible. Unfortunately the photo is not an eye. For detail and better event, I will make the photo size as large as possible.
Here we see how the lace of the skirt is made. Every stitch is visible.
Here, a pimple is visible on the right arm at the elbow.
Sleeve of the dress. Notice the dangling thread. And also on the fact that the texture of the fabric is clearly visible. I think the tailors will be able to determine what kind of fabric.
Likewise, on the cushion of a chair on which the girl rests her legs.
And what it stands for.
The vertical line is clearly visible here.
There is an elastic band …
Top view, hair.
Top view, back.
Side view.
And this is completely with the author's plate.
Nuuu.., in general, I showed everything that I wanted to show. I also voiced my thoughts. I think it was interesting and useful. For sim I take my leave.

Who and how could build the impossible Vorontsov Palace?
It turns out that the Vorontsov Palace is built of a superhard material that cannot be processed, but itself is a tool for processing granites
