We are accustomed to the new reality.

Few people think about what this is for. Who and for what purpose is required to create and store huge amounts of information about an ordinary ordinary person, on whom nothing depends? Sometimes they explain to us that this is required so that a specific person only receives the intended information about goods, services and news, so that a person does not drown in the sea of information he does not need. This is partly true. This business occupies a significant segment in the digital economy. However, this is not the main goal.

Unlike the first version, RCIS 2.0 is not limited to monitoring desktop computers, but can be used on mobile devices with Android, iOS and Blackberry operating systems. It bypasses encryption built into services such as WhatsApp and Telegram by hacking into phones themselves and reading messages "at the source" on users' screens.

The published document reveals that German security services have developed FinSpy surveillance software as a backup in case the RCIS system is published or compromised. The program itself is capable of going beyond what is currently permitted by German law. Part of FinFisher, developed by Gamma International in Munich, allows you to remotely record all calls and messages on your phone - both in regular SMS messages and other text services - as well as turn on your microphone and camera, find and track your device in real time.

Interestingly, RCIS 2.0 has been in development since the beginning of 2016, long before proposals for the development of this law were received. In other words, the security forces are putting some pressure on the legitimacy of the technology they are already developing. They first develop technologies, and only then try to legalize them. This fact proves that talking about security is not the main factor in the adoption of such laws. Technologies are being developed for completely different purposes. According to Edin Omanovichfrom the British non-governmental organization Privacy International, similar laws will soon be adopted in other countries - Great Britain, Austria, Italy, France. Now these countries are engaged in hacking, but have not yet legalized such activities. Omanovich also cites the facts of abuse of such technologies, as in the case of FinSpy surveillance for attacks on human rights defenders and lawyers in Bahrain. In addition, such technologies are commercial projects and can fall into the hands of anyone who can pay money for them.

In addition to these technologies, German authorities have launched a six-month test of automatic facial recognition technology at Berlin's train station, The Associated Press reports. There were even 200 volunteers who agreed to take part in the test, the legality of which raises great doubts among human rights defenders and lawyers. Ulrich Schellenberg, head of the German Bar Association, said: "Not everything that is technically possible we can implement in society." And this is the softest comment.

It is not only the national authorities of the countries who are involved in spying on people and collecting personal data, but also everyone who has such an opportunity. Google security researchers recently uncovered a highly sophisticated spyware program designed to steal user data that appears to have been developed by an Israeli company. Google claims that the spyware, dubbed Lipizzan, was developed by the Israeli startup Equus Technologies, which provides "customized innovative solutions for law enforcement, intelligence agencies and national security organizations." According to Google, Lipizzan is a multi-stage spy product capable of tracking and expanding a user's email, SMS messages, location, voice calls, and media. A scandal erupted in which Equus Technologies chose to remain silent.

Overseas, such technologies have gone even further. According to The Washington Times, US police have received surveillance system technology that uses Google Earth to collect and record information in real time, and then allows trackers to rewind, zoom in and explore specific locations at specific times. The system is now being rolled out on the streets of Baltimore and Dayton. The system will be able to track all your daily activities - how you move, who you are with, what you visit and for how long. According to the Center for Research Reporting (CIR), the software uses facial recognition technology to allow the system to identify faces in the system's database. This system was instantly named "God's Eye", or "All-Seeing Eye".

But real and complete control over a person in real time can now be obtained only by chipping it - implanting a chip into the body capable of performing a wide range of actions, from identification to tracking. Now a large number of companies are engaged in the mass chipization of their employees. Sweden, Belgium, Czech Republic are at the forefront of this process. Sutra Bengtson, a software engineer at the chip manufacturer, said that in 10 years, chipping will become a routine process, and people without implanted chips will be outcasts.

Chipping has already become widespread in the United States. A huge number of companies and firms, under threat of dismissal, are implanting chips in their employees. Such giants as Federal Express, General Electric, IBM, Microsoft and others are engaged in chipping employees. The United States Navy has announced that it will implant chips in all military personnel. But general chipping is not the pinnacle of control over a person. According to ANTIMEDIA, the US government is now on the verge of creating mind-reading technology. Using a clever algorithm, the operator can find out what the person was thinking at any given time, and even the order of a particular idea. After scans of the subject's brain, the researchers were able to predict his final intentions based only on brain data. These studies are planned to be tested, first of all, in the American justice system.

Interestingly, such studies have been conducted by the CIA since 1955.
