For many years, residents of the regions of Siberia and the Far East, by all available means, have been reporting the massive resettlement of Chinese residents to Russian territory. At first, the situation bore the format "I sort of heard it somewhere!" and they did not pay much attention to it, especially in central Russia, where people are very far from Siberia! News media and various observers boldly asserted that all the hype was exclusively "the work of the West" and with these rumors about "Chinese expansion" Western agents are trying to rock the situation in the country! But the years passed, people got used to it, because screaming is useless, and the problem became global.

As a rule, these days society trusts news from federal TV much more than ordinary people. They say if people shout, then they are no more than victims of agitation and propaganda of some politicians and act exclusively in someone's interests. But today everything has changed and what used to be called "fake" has become a reality: millions of hectares of forest were transferred to our neighbors from China for felling, a law on "TORs" (territories of advanced development) was introduced, which in the literal sense of the word donates land Siberia and the Far East to Chinese investors, and most importantly, we are faced with the global destruction of the unique ecosystem of Siberia, including the cleanest lake in the world, amazing Baikal!

Let's go in order! I will first touch on the issue of large-scale deforestation, our greatest natural asset. At the official level, within the framework of economic cooperation, Russia has transferred millions of hectares of forest to China. And for a long time, so many have already been cut down that without any problems anyone can see the felling on Yandex or google maps: a satellite view reveals a terrible picture. This is for skeptics, all those who believe to the last in the phrase: "these are all tricks of the West." No, my friends, the whole situation is real! Against the background of the official transfer of forests to China, local authorities (and persons associated with it in any way), amid the general noise, began to cut down valuable forests (relict and reserves) for Chinese enterprises on a semi-legal basis! The forest is carried out as burned out, sick, or they simply drive the equipment directly and cut down everything that is possible. People began to rise and take to the streets, but after threats were rained down on them and houses were burned down to some activists, everything was quiet. And they quieted down specifically! And I understand them. Siberia and the Far East are extremely poor regions and their own home and economy, this is all that local residents have. Losing a household means staying on the street. Only life can then be taken away. The guys believed that more than 400 wagons of round timber (timber) pass through Irkutsk every day, and these are huge numbers. We went to the border of the Russian Federation and the PRC, 4 woodworking enterprises per 1 square km. Wood is delivered to the conveyor without stopping, and it is processed. And so, China has become the number one exporter of wood products to America and other countries! Striking, isn't it? In fact, Siberia and the Far East in the literal sense of the word have become a raw material appendage of the PRC. Around Lake Baikal, the entire forest was cut down, the Irkutsk region, Transbaikalia, the Amur region, the Far East - a global problem. At this rate, there will soon be no forests at all, just as there are none now in China itself. They have cut everything down at home, the same fate awaits our nature. And this is the land that we will leave to our children.

Now about the resettlement of Chinese residents to Russia. Here, too, the problem is urgent and real, there are many materials from local residents: but no one pays any attention to it. First, within the framework of economic and strategic cooperation, we donate millions of hectares of forest to China! After that, they are allowed to build the largest environmentally hazardous enterprises in all regions of Siberia and the Far East! Thus, the world's largest plant for the extraction of fresh water for the PRC is being built on the shores of Lake Baikal. Ecologists as one declare that this plant will completely destroy the unique ecosystem of the lake. But no one cares! Time, money and money rule time. A similar problem is everywhere: large enterprises are opening everywhere, as a rule agricultural enterprises (they produce products using pure chemicals). I contacted the locals, they say that after harvesting on the land where the Chinese gathered vegetables - not even weeds grow. Just a rotten earth, burned out by powerful chemistry. I don't know if the situation is real, but I believe ours! And in this year, 2018, I can personally be convinced and collect all the facts on the problem.

And so, in order to finally secure the rights of Chinese investors on the territory of our country, a law on "TOPs" was signed - this law almost completely transfers the "depressive" regions of Siberia and the Far East of the PRC free of charge. The law is already working! What are depressed areas? These are regions where unemployment is high, there are no enterprises, and in general people live poorly. Now stop! All regions of Siberia and the Far East are poor. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, all enterprises were killed, collective farms collapsed and people still live in terrible conditions. I myself was born and raised in Altai and I know what I am talking about! If large cities still more or less survive, then settlements, villages and villages are in a very deplorable state. And of course, why should we raise our own people, invest money and time in them: it is better to give it to the Chinese and get political support from them on the world stage!

Friends, this is the land that we will leave to our children! Already at the beginning of June (until the 10th) my expedition "Russian Taiga" leaves - we will travel all over Russia and shoot a public public film about what is happening. Without the support of political parties, companies and not acting in someone else's interests, except for the interests of our people. This is an exclusively national public project! The purpose of the expedition: to collect as much material on the problem as possible, to make a public film, to bring photo and video materials to people, and we will also compile an interactive map of the felling sites, which has already been developed and is located on the “Green Page: read, familiarize yourself and save the page to bookmarks! Important! The main problem today is the lack of facts, few materials, and that is why I am organizing this expedition.

Unfortunately, we are no longer pulling out the expedition in full, the funds have not been collected and we will have to conduct a number of similar expeditions this year to collect materials in all regions of the country! The terms of the expedition, as well as the route itself, have been shortened. Friends! To leave very soon, the financial issue has not been resolved, we are collecting ourselves on our own. I really hoped for the payment of the royalties for my published books from the publisher, but they let me down specifically and this affected the expedition! I ask each of you to support us, this is very important. The success of the project depends on this! I ask especially to draw the attention of those who have the opportunity to support significantly: my personal thanks!
