The Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia has become a hell for the Russian people. They have no life there. The republic, a third of whose territory is occupied by the historical Kuban Cossack lands, and the capital, Cherkessk, was previously the village of Batalpashinskaya, is becoming unbearable for the life of Russians and Cossacks. The power of crime - as in the terrible nineties - is the norm in Karachay-Cherkessia. In October 2004, Ali Koitov, the son-in-law of the President of the KCR Batdyev, killed seven local businessmen in his palace. Killed, burned and thrown into the mine. And the relatives of those killed then stormed and destroyed the government building. And quite recently - on March 14, 2011, a sniper killer killed the director of a cement plant - the coolest local oligarch. Such is the life. But these are cases of "high flight". And who knows in well-fed Moscow what is happening “below” the KCR, among ordinary people? How do people live, especially Russian people?

On January 2, 2011, when the whole country was moving away from the holiday, in the village of Pregradnaya, three Russian guys Yevgeny Strigin, Vitaly Gezhin and Viktor Mironenko decided to go to the club for a Christmas tree. On the way, we decided to stop by Eugene’s house and take a flash card. His wife had her birthday the next day, January 3. She cooked, made salads. Children also helped to the best of their ability: son Vitaly 4 years old and daughter Vitalina 2 years old. Her husband's car drove up, Zhenya left the car with the headlights on and went into the house. He had to find and take a flash card for the camera. Friends were sitting in the cockpit. But here a Zhiguli 2105 is going with a group of cheerful Karachais: they went to a convenience store for vodka. The Russian "UAZ" prevented them from driving, the Karachais got out and started shouting that they should clean the car. Vitaly Gezhin came out and said: "Wait a little, the owner will come out and drive away." But they did not want to wait and, getting out of their car, violently demanded that the Russian "UAZ" be removed immediately …

Then the highlanders got into a fight. However, Gezhin, an athlete-wrestler, simply threw them around. One of the Karachais broke the back of his head. Everyone seemed to have calmed down. Strigin ran out and asked: "What's the matter?" The Karachais themselves told him that "everything is fine" and asked him to bring brilliant green and cotton wool. Strigin ran home and brought a piece of pillowcase and vodka, soaked the cloth with it. We washed out the abrasion, and that seemed to be the end of it. Among the Karachais was a woman - Zhanna Uzdenova, who did not want to calm down, ran around and shouted threats. The Russians did not attach any importance to these threats. As Vitaly Gezhin wrote later on the internet:

"Because it is among these peoples" how to go to the store for bread "they often sound threats and intimidation."

Not attaching importance to the threats, all three Russians "left for the central Christmas tree, wanted to take a picture with friends as usual in the new year." However, the Karachais decided to avenge the insult and went to collect reinforcements.

And soon two cars full of thugs waiting for revenge arrived at the tiny house of the Strignykh. As Christina later said, at least a dozen Karachais got out of the two cars. They surrounded the house, even went into the garden. Two began to break down the door of the Vernad, and Zhanna Uzdenova broke the window and started shouting that she would kill Christina and her children. Exactly. Christina Strigina, grabbing a bunch of screaming children, hid in the back room and closed the inner door with a key. Then she dialed her husband's number on her mobile and called him for help. During this time, the Karachais were able to open the door to the hallway and have already begun to break down the inner door. But then, having received a signal for help, Evgeny and his friends Gezhin and Kazakov drove up. Vitaly Gezhin was the first to come out and tried to start a conversation, saying “what are you doing” … But he was immediately knocked down and several “avengers” began to kick. Two other Russian guys who got out of the car were also knocked down and started beating. For three Russians, there were at least ten Karachais. Evgeny Strigin managed to get up and rushed into the house. And there he opened the safe, collected his gun and went out onto the porch, began to shoot …

After the first shot into the air, the Karachais rushed into their cars. But Yevgeny lowered his gun and fired two more shots. In one case, the shot hit a car and, as it turned out, one of the attackers was killed: Bostanov.

Evgeny Gezhin described these events as follows: “Seeing that two of his friends were lying on the ground, and they were beaten by a crowd of people, [Evgeny Strigin] fired a shot in the air, and two in the direction of the attacker's car, after which their cars quickly parted like“jackals by burrows ". We got up all beaten with broken jaws, arms, numerous bruises and abrasions. Zhenya, fearing a repeated attack on his home and family, took his wife, children and went to his parents, we also went to our own homes."

When in the morning Evgeny Strigin and his wife received information about the death of one of the "avengers", they rushed into the forest. And for two days without food they sat in the January forest in the UAZ cab. Then we returned to the village where Yevgeny surrendered to the police. He was charged with premeditated murder. The brutally beaten Yevgeny Gezhin was arrested by the police on January 3 in the morning.

But this story had a continuation. After Kristina was able to get through to her husband, he, having left with friends to his house, called his other friend - police lieutenant Aleksey Kozyr - and said that something was wrong. Aleksey Kozyr with Mironenko, a participant in the first incident, decided to visit the Strigins in his UAZ at night; while still at the entrance, on a nearby street, he was stopped by police officers of Karachai ethnicity, handcuffed and, together with his companions, taken to the ROVD. (About 3 hours passed from the moment of the shooting to the arrest of Kozyr).

All those detained at the ROVD began to be brutally beaten. They knocked out confessions in an organized, planned group murder out of nationalist motives.

Here is how Vitaly Gezhin describes his misadventures: “And in the morning the policemen burst into my house, apparently the relatives of the deceased, said: there will be a search and where I am hiding the gun, I asked them not to shout, because I have two young children and they are sleeping, because still 7 o'clock in the morning. They took me to the department where they told me: “hands behind my back” and handcuffed me, then one son of a local Karachai millionaire began to beat me, although I already had severe bruises on my face, but they didn't care. Then I was taken to the investigative committee as a witness, there they also constantly threatened, when asked to show me to the doctor, “since, as it turned out later, I had a concussion and a fractured jaw, you can no longer write about other injuries” or call me a lawyer - they laughed, demanding that I write that it was an organized murder by a group of persons, but I refused to do it, for which I was detained for two days, then for three more days. All my requests to remove the beatings from me and to show me to the doctor were refused by the investigators, although the employees of the IVS repeatedly told them about this, because they were all Russian people. Thank God! they didn’t let them beat me there. only on the fourth day I was taken to the hospital for an X-ray and it turned out that I had a fracture of the left corner of the lower jaw and I needed urgent hospitalization, after that on that day a court-medical expert “also a Karachai by nationality” appeared and made a conclusion, that I suffered moderate damage to my health. On the fifth day I was released, and Zhenya is still in prison, and they sew him up to life. An investigative committee of five people has been created. They say that among them there is even one Russian person whom none of us has seen. I can imagine how my friends were pressed, I have no doubt even stronger than me."

Of course, the death of a person is a tragedy. And the fact that Yevgeny Strigin opened fire is a very regrettable fact. But what would someone else have done in a situation when YOUR children are screaming behind them with a terrible cry, and a friend is being killed in front of your house? The crowd on the ground kills a person very quickly. Moreover, Gezhin was deliberately beaten on the head.

Arrests began after the shooting. And from the very beginning, the Karachai "law enforcers" as the organizer, and even an accomplice, of the murder demanded to recognize Evgeny Strigin's friend, militia lieutenant Aleksey Kozyr, who was not present at all during both fights and shooting. An obvious fabrication of a "high-profile case" was planned. What was the fault of the traffic police inspector Kozyr?

The fact that he is an honest policeman. No alcohol drinker, not even beer. Non-smoker. He does not take bribes. And it is for this reason that he became objectionable to the authorities. As Alexey Kozyr himself writes.

“I, A. Kozyr, worked as an inspector of the traffic police of the OGIBDD of the Urupskiy ROVD, with the rank of militia lieutenant since 2002. In 2010, the Urupskiy ROVD was merged with the Zelenchukskiy district, since May I have been at the disposal of the Zelenchukskiy MOVD. Revealed the following facts:

Every month, money is extorted in the amount of 3000 (Three thousand) rubles from each traffic police inspector, "objectionable" ones are eliminated in various ways. Official checks are fabricated, “unwanted” employees are dragged out for certification, forced to resign of their own free will, otherwise they are fired under article …. There is an evidence base in the form of an audio recording of a conversation that took place in the traffic police building at the time of fundraising. For the appointment to a position in the Zelenchuksky MOVD, the management extorts money in the amount of 30-70 thousand rubles, depending on the position held. Thus, the staff of the traffic police of the Zelenchuksky police department is being formed. Police officers are afraid to report to anyone about what is happening, as they are afraid of losing their place of work and any of their close relatives. As a result of the actions of the Karachai law enforcement officers, Alexey Kozyr, ABSOLUTELY NOT INVOLVED in the case of the murder of Bostanov, spent 9 days in prison: from January 3 to 12. Vitaly Gezhin spent five days in prison.

AND WITH THIS ALL ATTRACTIONS TORTURED. They constantly beat me. In addition to the beatings, Aleksey Kozyr was kept in a cell with +5 degrees Celsius. His kidneys became inflamed: chronic pyelonephritis. Vitaly Gezhin with a broken jaw was not provided with medical assistance and was beaten at the same time. Only when the guard changed from Karachaev to Russian in the bullpen, parents were able to betray antibiotics to Gezhin's cell. Russian policemen themselves injected him, which allowed him to somehow bring down the inflammation of the broken jaw. Viktor Mironenko, who was present at the first fight, was crushed by a cheekbone and a nerve on the right side of his face …

Now the crudely fabricated case against Aleksey Kozyr has already collapsed, he was found not to be involved, but he is threatened with murder. And these are not empty threats.

None of the torturers, and their names are known, and complaints were filed, were not brought to justice. And, within the framework of the Karachay-Circassian “law enforcement system, he will never be involved … Moreover, one of the sadistic torturers is the son of a local oligarch.

True, a separate criminal case has been opened about the beating of Vitaly Gezhin, but the investigators from Karachev treat, in his words, “like cattle,” insult and humiliate, clearly showing that they will not carry out any investigation.

The very same case on the murder of Bostanov was recognized as a "case of special importance", an investigative team of seven investigators was formed, only one of whom was Russian. The people passing by on the case did not see him in the eye. And the Russian man who defended his children, Yevgeny Strigin, is deprived of any hope for the justice of the investigation.

But that's not all. The shooting events took place on the night of January 2nd to 3rd. And already on January 4, on the central square of the Cossack village of Pregradnaya, slender columns of Karachai residents came out. With two requirements:

1. To extradite Evgeny Strigin and his family for lynching.

2. To evict ALL Russians from the Urupsky region, the regional center of which is Pregradnaya.

The meeting gathered up to 250 people. An "initiative group" of about 20 people was selected, which went to the district leadership (consisting, of course, of Karachais) with the demand "to satisfy the just demands of the people." At this meeting, the Russians were afraid to go out into the street. Speaking of "our region": the people of Karachev appeared in these places only in 1958, upon their return from Kazakhstan. Before that, only Cossacks lived here since 1861.

A few days after the rally, in the same central square, a drunken Karachai policeman shouting: "Your brother killed our people," opened fire from a pistol at Vasily Kozyr, Alexei's brother, who was walking by. The shooter was quietly fired without consequences …

The reader may ask: “Maybe this is a separate case? Is it worth "pulling the trend"? Then I must say what else is going on in Pregradnaya. Earlier, a Russian girl, Oksana F., from the Mednogorsky village, neighboring with Pregradnaya, was brutally raped. The rapist, a certain Aliev, received five years in prison. Conditionally.

In 2010, two Karachais attacked a Russian security guard at the Mednogorsk mining and processing plant. He was inflicted eleven (!) Penetrating and even through (!!!) knife wounds. How he survived - God knows. The "cutter" was given a year. Conditionally. The partner was not given even that.

In the center of the village were found obscene inscriptions insulting the Russian nation and demanding "the Russian pigs leave our area." An administrative case was initiated. It is still going on.

They demolished two Orthodox worship crosses. There are no consequences.

And here is the last, March, message from Pregradnaya - at night the house of the Russian people, the Sladnikovs, on Krasnaya Street was fired upon. On the same street where Christina Strigina lives in fear.

What is happening in Pregradnaya is a real front line. Front aimed at "cleansing the living space"; on the deliberate and systematic ousting of Russians from the republic. By the way, the Karachaevsky rally in Pregradnaya was organized by a specially sent "entertainer" from the city of Karachaevsk.

But back to the letter published on the Internet by Vitaly Gezhin. Here is what he writes: “For a long time I did not want to write this letter, because I am not a nationalist, in the radical manifestation of this word. Yes, I love my nation, I am proud that I am a Russian person! like my friends, who suffered from this conflict, but none of us suffered and does not suffer from manifestation of intolerance towards other peoples, moreover, I have many friends from these peoples, they are all decent people.

But now in the KCR, pressure and survival of the Russian population is underway, Orthodox churches and churches are being burned down, grave crimes are being committed: murder and rape. The number of grave crimes committed in our region by the Karachais is 80%, and the Russians 20%. All the leading posts are power posts, occupied by the Caucasian peoples, in our region, where 80% are Russian people, historically Kuban Cossacks, the ratio of the leading 80% to 20% is not in favor of the Russian population."

In Karachay-Cherkessia there is an organization representing the interests of the Russian population: the Regional Public Movement "Rus". The newspaper "Rus" is published. And according to the materials of this newspaper, and according to the stories of people, the situation in the Karachayevo-Cherkessia for the Russians is simply catastrophic.

The share of the Russian population in the KCR, according to the 2002 census, is 33.6%. Until 1991, there were 50.7% of them. The Russians flee, the republic becomes mono-Muslim. At least 1,500 Russian people leave the republic a year. And this is, in the overwhelming majority, young people. It has no place in the republic, it has no future. They give work only to their own. An unspoken prohibition exists for Russians to work in the treasury, tax inspection, KRU, accounting chamber, wherever "it smells of money."

In the universities of the KChR, Russian students now make up only 5%. Moreover, these 5% are only students from Cherkessk. There are no Russian students at the University of Karachaevsk. On the walls of this educational institution, following the Chechen example, they write: “Russians do not leave, we need slaves.”

The "high point" of the conscious and planned de-Russification of the republic was the "session of the simultaneous burning" of Christian churches. On November 1, 2010, two Orthodox churches and a Baptist prayer house were burnt down in Karachaevsk and the neighboring village of Ordzhonikidzevsky. And it was a blatant, open arson. And all were silent. Stavropol Bishop Theophanes, Patriarch Kirill - all were silent. The Duma was silent, the media were silent. Nobody needs Russians in the Caucasus. The destruction of worship crosses in the village of Pregradnaya and the burning of Christian churches are all phenomena of the same order. As well as the group attack on the house of Yevgeny Strigin, and the rally with slogans to expel the Russians from "our area."

AND BEFORE EVENTS IN THE BARCEL.

Currently, the children of Zhenya Strigin are being treated for shock by a psychologist, and his family is in poverty. No money for lawyers. And on whom can the Strigins now rely, and all Russians in Pregradnaya and throughout Karachay-Cherkessia? And throughout the North Caucasus? On whom? There is no one …
