There are strange things on earth. Strange and inexplicable, except for any nonsense. Such things include, for example, the so-called "glades", of which there are more than 3 million kilometers in Russia alone, according to the most conservative estimates. These glades were allegedly cut by tsarist lumberjacks and gallant Soviet foresters in order to facilitate the difficult task of navigating the terrain and the most accurate accounting of state property. Lines, grids and geometric shapes, so easily viewed from the air and visible even from space, are measured mainly in miles, but I will give numbers in meters.

In all cases, we can safely talk about the absolute accuracy of the lines and angles of the patterns of glades. Their width is sometimes fantastic, many are clearly visible from an altitude of more than 300 kilometers - this is one and a half times farther than the earth's orbit. If the "clearing" is oriented to the north, then this is the exact direction to the pole, if there is a perpendicular to it, then it is clearly 90 degrees. Another very strange feature is that they do not overgrow in any way.

At this point, I stop using the term "glades" and begin to call them simply "lines", because this is much less far from the truth.

We see these lines everywhere and all the time. Most of our roads, power transmission lines are laid along them, our summer cottages are built on them. As in this picture of the Moscow region of Noginsk.

Image
Image

We see that the lines cut through the settlements, that they are much larger. To check for straightness, I usually use the edge of a piece of paper against the monitor. Google Earth offers tools for more accurate and detailed measurements.

Southeast of Vladimir. Recognizing P. Scripino, a perfectly straight double line, similar to a track from a car, has a length of 25 kilometers, without changing its straightness. And without taking into account the terrain. Interestingly, on the plain, the horizon line is only 4 kilometers away from a person of average height.

Image
Image

Interesting places around Bratsk. In this photo, as it were, the "beginning" of the bunch of lines.

Image
Image

Then from here they will disintegrate into arrows flying in different directions. One or two are used for power transmission lines, the same amount for roads, some area is built up by the city.

This is a continuation of one of them.

Image
Image

Width -285 meters! Direction - North Pole, deviation no more than 0.05 degrees. Nearby, along a much narrower line, there is a motorway.

And this is a view "from an airplane" 120 km SW from Bratsk (I must say - the wilderness is rare, judging by the maps): a wide line on the right, the rest of the photo is drawn in narrower stripes, but also with phenomenal accuracy.

Image

Here is another area nearby.

Image
Image

Space-accurate marking of the planet's surface was practiced not only on the territory of modern Russia, but also on the rest of the planet, to a greater or lesser extent. There are especially many traces left in North America. All these cyclopean cells of the American states are paved along the roads, although most Americans, of course, believe that the opposite is true - the roads are paved along the state borders.

There are a million examples, I will give only the most egregious.

Here's a farm in Colorado.

Image
Image

All angles are ideal - 90 degrees, there is a deviation from the direction to the pole - 0.8 degrees (typical for all of North America). The markings are much larger than the areas used by farmers. An intricate pattern is visible on the right side. Here's another one, shot a little to the north.

Image
Image

Amazing, isn't it? Throughout the entire territory of this diagram, you can see only a couple of barn-type buildings.

And here is one of the roads, chosen for its great length.

Image
Image

And, since we started talking about roads, this is the famous M53 highway (from Moskva to Krasnoyarsk), actually laid by real brave Soviet workers on the mythical Siberian virgin soil.

Image
Image

The one that is slightly higher. Such a crooked one. That is, in the reality of the second half of the 20th century, these famous gallant Soviet workers still could not trample against the terrain. Then who was able to do this a little further south? Moreover, with such a lordly scope of 150 meters.

Image
Image

Lyrical digression with a sharp transition to the heart of the matter. Hiroshima after a nuclear strike.

Image
Image

What do we see? The city is in dust. There are three crumpled buildings left. The roads are in order, the canal is in order, the bridge is in place. No vegetation. Everything is logical and easy to explain. We note to ourselves that in 50 years the picture would have been supplemented by half a meter of soil. Now we are looking at the miracle of the Cambodian canals.

Image
Image

This is where Cambodians live. They allegedly dug it up, allegedly for agricultural needs. Yeah. The length of this perfectly straight section of the grid is 45 kilometers.

Image
Image

The average width is 60 meters.

Image
Image

The scale and accuracy of the "digging" of channels is not only shocking, but simply baffling.

Image
Image

We look diligently. All photos are clickable to the best resolution. This is Cambodia from a height of 474 kilometers.

Image
Image

And this is Washington, the capital of the United States. City center. Eastern side of the continent. Please note that the overall slope is the same as the "farm" in Colorado.

Image
Image

Athens. Greece. City center. The ancient world.

Image
Image

Berlin. Germany. The analogue of the Alexandria Column was allegedly erected in 1873. I would suggest entering a character for the term "ostensibly".

Image
Image

Oh Paris! France. King Louis. The Champs Elysees shoot from the center of the picture to the northwest in a perfect straight line as much as 8 kilometers! We just look at the rest.

Image
Image

Well, this is generally a hero city with a gray beard. "The history of the Vatican goes back almost two thousand years …" - Wikipedia eloquently shouts.

Image
Image

And running home - St. Petersburg. Or the city of Xikrik on the Novogor River?

Image
Image

Arkhangelsk. Here, of course, not everything is as cool as in Paris, but there is a good reason for that, about which below …

Image

Nizhny Novgorod. Only the makings of direct directions are visible. Still visible. And the analogies with the previous cities are evident.

Image
Image

Yaroslavl. According to the "New Chronology" - the chronicle Veliky Novgorod itself.

Image
Image

Now, for a good reason. On the territory of the endless forests of Russia (which, by the way, are all no older than 180 years old and seem to have been planted in one year) there are many traces of the street grid. This is the vicinity of the Moscow region Shatura.

Image
Image

And this is a little further south.

Image
Image

100 km from St. Petersburg to the South.

Image
Image

Like Hiroshima, 200 years later. Everywhere there are mysterious round lakes of "glacial origin". In general, after half a year of studying the issue, I noticed a pattern: there are perfectly straight lines, there are round lakes - there are no buildings and plants over 150 years old; there are perfectly straight lines, there are no round lakes - the centers of modern cities. Here are the funnels found in an hour in the Moscow region.

Image
Image

Well, let's summarize the interim results. We have a network of lines covering the entire planet, ideally straight lines from a cosmic point of view, uniting all cities, countries and continents. A phenomenon that is not something that is silent. And also for many years it has been carefully hidden by the governments of all countries. After all, the only possible way to hide these lines from the eyes of a person of the 21st century is to dig them up. This is where the cultivation of the USSR comes from, because anyone who is interested understands that permaculture is much more effective than monoculture farming. And if you look closely, you will see that the collective farms-sheds are located in space-precise geometric shapes, and the tractor drivers have done the impossible by laying ideally-straight roads of many kilometers with Belarus tractors. In Europe, fields were also dug furiously, but much longer than in Russia. Hence the result: this is what one of the few untouched slices of the planet in Champagne, France looks like.

Image
Image

He's closer. There are many such examples, but it is more difficult to look for them than in Russia.

Image
Image

Further, the fact that the plotters of the mysterious lines did not give a damn about the relief of our planet is a fact that deserves attention. This is Mama India.

Image
Image

The picture shows the relief of the area along which the white line is laid. It is difficult to search in India due to the sparse vegetation. After all, we remember that our lines are not overgrown with anything except knee-deep bushes. Nevertheless, many examples can be found.

And this is Thailand, about which I am preparing a separate topic.

Image

The length of the vertical line is 13 km. Direction - exactly to the pole. Width - 45 meters.

We look at the oldest photographs. Pay attention to the road surface, its width and accuracy.

London. England. 19th century.

Peter. End of the 19th century. We draw attention to the famous terrible paving stones, supposedly ancient, like the roads themselves. We see that the carriageway is free from it.

Image
Image

And here we see that there are no paving stones on the roadway either. Probably the people would not understand if they put it down - not otherwise. The width of the roads is pleasant. You are riding on a horse-drawn tram, on the left you are slowly overtaken by another horse, and even more to the left, a thug is furiously rushing in a troika, he is trampled by a gendarme in a white-and-blue.

Image

Singapore. 19th century.

Image
Image

Peter. 19th century. It is not very visible, but it is clear that these are not paving stones. And that there is no one.

Image
Image

Photography "professionals" argue that the lack of people in some of the earliest photographs of the 19th century is the result of the long exposure of those early cameras. They say that all people were rushing like devils, and therefore did not get into the frame. Here is a link to the official museum panoramas of Moscow (2MB) and St. Petersburg (17MB) in 1864. There will be a separate topic for them, but for now, look carefully.

St. Petersburg again, 19th century, although at first it seemed to me that it was exactly the All-Russian Exhibition Center, built, allegedly, in the 30s by brave Soviet builders. Not asphalt or paving stones.

Image
Image

Clipping from the classic panorama of St. Petersburg 1864. Not asphalt, not cobblestone, not a soul - everyone is running.

Image
Image

And here is a historical shot - they are driving cobblestones into excellent, but abandoned roads. Peter. End of the 19th century.

Moscow. Railway station. 1855 year.

Image

What can I say - the builders overdid it. Obviously, there was nowhere to put the building power.

Moscow, the very beginning of the 20th century. Trams, cabbies. The width of the roads is modern, the congestion is not at all!

Another historical shot, only now from Moscow.

Everything is in an illogical cage: sandy embankments, on the sides of the ditch. House on the edge of a meadow, 100 meters from the forest. The forest is rich in clearings, along which I wandered many times, went with my father on hikes. All of them are straight like arrows, free of vegetation. That is, on the left and on the right, trees stand like a wall: young, old, bushes - in some places it is impossible to get through. Through the clearing itself, many trunks have been handled (now I think it was intentional), but everything is smooth underfoot, evenly, grass, paths. We always thought that it was so rolled by tractors and were partly right, tractors were driven there once. Our glade was dug back in the 90s, then they stopped, then they were sold for a cooperative. In 2003, a young mixed forest sprouted there, three to five meters in height and so thick that it was not even in my thoughts to try to climb into it without a machete. Mushrooms were mowed along the edges - 215 boletus boletus per hour alone - a record. In 2010, the three-story cottages of the tax police there were all covered with abandoned trees. And those glades are bald even now.
