Mellen-Thomas Benedict's near-death experience

In 1982, the artist Mellen-Thomas Benedict had a near-death experience. He was dead for about an hour and a half, and during this time he left the body and entered the Light. Having shown a desire to know the Universe, he was taken into the ancient depths of Being and even further, into the energetic Vacuum - Nothing, preceding the Big Bang. Regarding this near-death experience, Dr. Kenneth Ring said, "His story is the most amazing I have heard in my many years of research into such cases."

THE ROAD TO DEATH

In 1982, I died of terminal cancer. The stage of the cancer was inoperable and the chemotherapy that could be offered to me more and more turned me into a kind of plant. I had 6-8 months to live. In the 70s, an avalanche of information fell on us, and I was very worried about the environmental crisis, the nuclear threat, etc. And since things were bad for me with spirituality, I came to the conclusion that nature made a mistake, and we were a cancerous tumor on the body of the planet. I saw no way out of all these problems that we ourselves have created on earth. I perceived all of humanity as cancer, and the same thing happened to me. And it was killing me.

Be careful with your perception of the world. It has feedback, and especially if your views are negative. I had an extremely negative perception. This led me to death. I have tried all forms of alternative medicine, but in vain. Then I decided it was between me and God. In fact, I never saw him or spoke to him.

Before that I had no spiritual development, but now I turned to spirituality and alternative healing. I was going to read everything I could and hastily prepare myself on this subject because I didn't want surprises on the other side. So, I began to read philosophical literature and study religions. All this was very interesting and gave hope that there was something on the other side.

On the other hand, I was an independent artist and had no insurance. All my savings were spent on examination, so that I was presented to medicine without insurance. I didn’t want my family to suffer financial losses and decided to deal with it myself. There were no constant pains, but sometimes I temporarily lost consciousness. Because of this, I did not dare to drive.

Eventually I ended up under the care of a hospice. I had a personal hospice nurse. God Himself sent me this angel, who spent the last days with me. And this lasted 18 months. I didn’t want to take a lot of drugs, as I wanted to be as clear as possible. But then such pains came that it seemed that nothing else existed besides them. Fortunately, this only lasted a few days.

LIGHT OF GOD

I remember that I woke up at home at 4.30 in the morning and realized that this was the end. It is on this day that I must die. So I called my friends and said goodbye. Then I woke up the nurse and told her about it. I had a personal agreement with her that she would leave my body alone for 6 hours, because the most interesting things happen at this particular time. And I fell asleep.

The next thing I remember is the beginning of a typical near-death experience.

Suddenly I realized that I got up, but the body remained in the bed. There was darkness all around. Without a body, you feel more alive and mobile, and to such an extent that I saw every room in the house, and the roof of the house and everything that is under the house, and everything around.

The Light shone. I turned to him. The light was as described by those who experienced near-death conditions. He was so magnificent! And it is tangible: you feel it. He is attractive - you have a desire to go to him as to his own mother or father in the arms. When I began to move towards the Light, I intuitively realized that if I enter the Light, I will become dead. Therefore, as I moved towards, I asked: "Please, just a minute, let's linger here for a second. I want to reflect on this, I would like to talk to you before I go in."

To my surprise, everything stopped at the same moment. You are in good control of your near-death state. You don't seem to be on a roller coaster. So, my request was taken into account, and I had a conversation with the Light. The light continued to change and took on the images of Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, mandala, archetypes and symbols.

I asked the Light: "What is happening here? Please, Light, clarify. I really want to know the essence of what is happening." I didn't really speak, and the communication was telepathic. The Light replied that the information conveyed to me was that our faith forms feedback when we appear before the Light. If you were a Buddhist, Catholic, or fundamentalist, you get an informational image of your essence. You have a chance to look at it, research it, but most people don't.

I came to the realization that the way the Light manifested itself was the matrix of our Higher Self. I can say that the Light has turned into a matrix, a mandala of human souls, and I saw our Higher Self, and it is a matrix in each of us. It also serves as a guide to the Source; each of us comes directly from the Source. And we all have a Higher Self, or, an Over Soul, as a part of our being. It revealed itself to me in its true energetic form. Our Higher Self can be described as a channel of communication, although it does not look like that, but it is a direct connection with the Source. We are all directly related to Source.

So, the Light showed me the matrix, the Higher Self, and I realized that all our Higher Self are connected into a single being: all of humanity is a single being, we are actually one and the same being, in different aspects, but one. This does not apply to any one religion. This image came as feedback. I have seen the mandala of human souls. And it was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. It was so exciting. It was like all the love you all longed for, and it was the kind of love that heals, soothes, and revives.

I asked the Light to continue explaining in order to better understand the Higher Self. Around our planet there is something like a network with which all our Selves are connected. It looks like a big company, our next more subtle level of energy, one might say, spiritual level.

Then, after a few moments, I asked for further clarification. I wanted to know how the universe works. “I'm ready, let's go,” I said. Light has once again become the most beautiful thing in the world: the mandala of the human souls of our planet.

Then I came to this with my negative views on what is happening on earth. Therefore, I asked the Light for clarification. Indeed, in this majestic mandala, I saw how we are all beautiful in our essence, in origin. We are the finest creatures. The human soul, the human matrix and every part of what we all together made up - absolutely, fantastic, graceful, unusual - every particle.

I can't even express in words how at that moment it changed my opinion about humanity. I said, "Oh, God, I had no idea that we are all so beautiful." At all levels, high and low, in all forms, we are the most beautiful creatures. I was extremely surprised that I did not find evil in any soul. I asked: "How can this be?" The answer followed that no soul is fundamentally evil. The terrible things that happen to people can make them do evil, but there is no evil in their souls. All people are looking for, what sustains them, is love, said the Light. The lack of love destroys them.

It seems that the Light kept on revealing secrets to me when I asked:

"Does this mean the world will be saved?" Then, with a trumpet voice with a shower of spiraling lights, the Light answered: “Remember and never forget: you save, restore and heal yourself. This is always so. And it will always be so. You were originally created with this ability.

At that moment, I understood even more. I realized that WE ARE ALREADY SAVED, and we saved ourselves, since we were created with inherent self-correction, like the entire Divine Universe. This is the second coming. I thanked the Light and God from the bottom of my heart. The best thing that came to my mind then was simple words of gratitude: "Oh, God, oh, priceless Universe, oh Higher Self, I love my life." It seemed that the Light inhales me deeper and deeper. It felt as if he had completely swallowed me. Love of the Light is indescribable.

I entered a different reality, more perfect than the previous one. It was a powerful stream of Light, boundless and full, deep in the Heart of Life. I asked what it was. The Light answered: "This is the RIVER OF LIFE. Drink from it to your heart's content." That's exactly what I did. I took one swig, then another. Drink life itself! It was delightful! Then the Light said, "You have a desire." He knew everything about me, past, present and future. "Yes, I whispered."

I asked to see the rest of the universe; behind our solar system and all human illusions. The Light said that I can go to the Stream. I did so, and was transported through the Light to the end of the tunnel. I heard a series of very soft explosions. What speed! I seemed to be moving away from the planet in the stream of life at the speed of a rocket. I have seen. How the land was left behind. The solar system in all its beauty swept past and disappeared too. Faster than the speed of light, I flew through the center of the galaxy, absorbing knowledge along the way. I learned that this galaxy and the entire Universe is overflowing with various forms of LIFE. I have seen many Worlds. The good news is that we are not alone in this universe.

As I flew in this Stream of consciousness through the center of the galaxy, it expanded into awe-inspiring fractal waves of energy. Superclusters of galaxies with their ancient wisdom flew past. At first it seemed to me that I was flying just like that, traveling. But then I realized that when the Stream began to expand, my consciousness also expanded to embrace everything in this Universe. The whole universe was rushing by. It was an incredible miracle! I really was a Wonder Child; a child in Wonderland.

It seemed that all the worlds of the Universe were sweeping by at the speed of light. Suddenly a second Light appeared. He came from all sides and was different. The light was of the highest frequency. I heard several soft sonic discharges. My consciousness expanded and connected with the entire holographic universe.

As soon as I entered the second Light, I realized that I had transcended Truth. These are the most accurate words I could find to describe this condition, but I will try to explain it further. When I entered the second Light, I found myself in complete silence, in absolute peace. I saw and perceived Eternity, infinite.

I was in the Void, in the Vacuum. I was in the period before the Big Bang, before the beginning of creation. I have crossed the beginning of time - First Word - First Vibration. I was at the Center of Creation. It was like touching the face of God. There was no religious feeling in it. I was just alone with Absolute Life and Consciousness.

When I say that I could see or perceive eternity, I mean that I could observe the entire universe generating itself. It had no beginning or end. A mind-expanding thought, huh? Scientists perceive the Big Bang as the initial, only action that led to the creation of the Universe. I saw that the Big Bang is just one of the endless Big Bangs that create universes endlessly and simultaneously. The only suitable comparison, in the human sense, is the images created by supercomputers using fractional geometric equations.

The ancients knew about this. They said that the Father periodically creates Universes by exhaling, and destroys by inhaling. These eras were called Yugas. Modern scientists have called it the Big Bang. I was in absolute, pure consciousness. I could see and perceive all the Big Bangs or Yugas creating and destroying themselves. Instantly, I entered everything at the same time. I saw that every, even the smallest part of the universe, has the ability to create. It is hard to explain. I still don't have enough words.

It took me years to assimilate everything that I experienced in the Vacuum. Now I can assert that the Vacuum is even less than Nothing and more than everything that exists! Vacuum is absolute zero; chaos - shaping all possibilities. This Absolute Consciousness is much greater than the Universal Mind.

Where is Vacuum located? I know. The vacuum is inside and outside everything. You are living inside and outside the Vacuum right now at the same time. You don't have to go anywhere or die to get to it. The vacuum is between all physical manifestations. This is the SPACE between atoms and its particles, electron clouds.

Modern science has begun to explore this space. They called it the zero point. When they try to measure it, their instruments are off the charts or, as they say, point to infinity. They have no way of measuring infinity with precision. Both your body and the Universe have this zero outer space. What the mystics call emptiness is not emptiness. The vacuum is filled with energy, different types of energy, which creates everything that we have. Everything, at the beginning of the Big Bang is vibration. The biblical I AM is really a question mark. I AM? WHAT AM I?

So, the universe is God, manifesting his Divine Self in all imaginable ways, in continuous movement, endless exploration of himself through each of us. Through every hair on your head, through every leaf of the tree, God examines himself, his Higher I AM. I began to understand that all that is is Himself, together with your I and my I. Everything is the Higher Self. That is why he knows when the leaf falls. This is possible because wherever you are, there is the center of the universe. This is God and He is in Vacuum.

When I explored the Void and all the Yugas or the universe, I was outside of time and space as we perceive them. In this expanded state, I discovered that the universe is the Absolute, Pure Consciousness or God descending into Life to gain experience. The Void itself is devoid of experience. This is the pre-condition of life, before the first vibration. God is more than Life and Death. Therefore, there is something more in the universe to explore.

I was in Vacuum and was aware of everything that was ever created. It looked like I saw it through the eyes of God. I became God. Suddenly, I stopped being myself. Once again, I can repeat, I looked through the eyes of God. I learned why every atom exists, I could understand and see everything. It is interesting that I entered the Vacuum and returned with the understanding that He was not there. God is here. This is how things stand.

From this this endless search for humanity: to go somewhere in search of God. God gave us everything, everything is here. And what we are all involved in right now is exploring God through us. People are too busy trying to become God, they must understand that they are already Gods and God is becoming us. This is the point.

I realized this, finished researching the Void and wanted to return to the universe or the South. It turned out to be very easy to do. I again went through the second Light or Big Bang, listening to the soft sounds of discharges. In the stream of consciousness, I flew through all the universe. And what a flight it was! Superclusters of galaxies passed through me.

I passed the center of our galaxy, which is the great Black Hole. The Black Holes are the enormous processors or recirculators of the Universe. Do you know what's on the other side of the Black Hole? We are, our galaxy, which was reproduced from another universe. In its general energetic form, the galaxy looks like a fantastic cluster of lights. All the energy on this side of the Big Bang is Light. Every subatom, atom, star, planet and even consciousness itself - everything consists of Light and has a frequency of Light. Light is living matter. And everything consists of Light, even stones. Therefore, everything is alive. Everything is made of Divine light; everything has intelligence.

LIGHT OF LOVE

I was still flying in the Stream and could watch the approach of the Light. I knew it was the first Light; the matrix of the Higher Self of the Light of our solar system. Then the system itself appeared in the Light, accompanied by one of those soft sounds of discharges. I saw that our solar system is a large local body. This is our body, and we are much more than we imagine. So, I saw that the solar system is our body, and I am a part of it, the earth is a great being, and we are a part of it that realizes this. We are not all - we are only a part of it, and it knows it.

I have seen all the energy our solar system generates and this is a stunning light scene. I have heard the Music of the Spheres. Our solar system, when creating all celestial bodies, generates a unique light matrix, sound and vibration. Advanced civilizations from other stellar systems can determine life in the Universe by vibration and the energy imprint of the matrix. It's child's play. Earth Wonder Child (human beings) make many sounds like children playing in the backyard of the universe.

I flew in the Stream directly to the center of the Light. I felt the embrace of the Light as he took me into his breath again, then another soft sound of discharge followed. I was in this great Light of Love with the Stream of life permeating me. I must repeat once again that this is the most loving, non-judgmental Light. This is the perfect parent for the Wonder Child. "What's next?" - I asked.

The Light explained that there is no death, we are immortal beings. We live forever! I realized that we are part of a natural, living system that recreates itself endlessly. I was not told that I should return. But I knew it was necessary. This flowed naturally from what I saw. I don’t know how long I stayed with the Light in earthly time. But the moment came when I realized that I had received answers to all my questions and my return is near.

When I say that all my questions have been answered, I mean that all my questions have been answered. Each person has their own life and their own questions. Some questions are universal, but each of us studies life in our own unique way. So there are other forms of life, starting with the mountains and ending with every leaf of the tree. This is very important for all of us in this Universe, because all this makes up the Big Picture, the entire fullness of Life. We are God examining himself in the endless Dance of Life. Your uniqueness adds value to life.

RETURN TO EARTH

When I began to return to the life cycle, it did not occur to me, and I was not told that I should return to the same body. I totally relied on Light and Life. When the Stream merged with the Great Light, I asked to keep the memory of the revelations and everything that I learned on this side.

The answer was yes. It was perceived as a kiss to the soul.

I passed through the Light into a vibrating reality again. The whole process was repeated with additions to the information that I received. I returned home and received a lesson in incarnation. They answered the questions: "How does it work? How does it work?" I knew that I needed to reincarnate. The Earth is a huge processor of energy and individual consciousness evolves from it in each of us.

For the first time I thought of myself as a person and was happy. From what I learned, I was happy to feel like just an atom of this universe. Just an atom. Whereas being a human part of God … this is the most fantastic blessing. This is a blessing, despite all our extreme judgments of what a blessing can be. The thought that we are a human part of this experience is awe-inspiring. Each of us, no matter where we are, preoccupied or not, is a blessing to the planet.

So I went through the incarnation process and expected to appear as a child somewhere. But I was taught a lesson in how individual consciousness evolves. Since I reincarnated into my own body. I was very surprised when I opened my eyes. It was unimaginably amazing to be back in my body, in my room, where someone was courting me and crying for me. Yes, that was my nurse. She left my body alone for an hour and a half after discovering that I was dead. She was sure that I was dead, there were all the signs - I was numb.

We do not know how long I was dead, but we do know that it has been an hour and a half since I was found in this state. She complied with my request to leave the body alone for a few hours. We had a stethoscope and many other ways to check the vital functions of the body. She could make sure I was dead. This was not a near-death experience.

I was dead for at least an hour and a half. She found me dead and listened with a stethoscope, took my blood pressure and checked my heart rate on the monitor. But then I woke up and saw the Light. I tried to get up to follow him, but fell out of bed. She heard the sound of a fall, ran into the room and found me on the floor.

So I returned, and the incident was awesome. The perception of this world eluded me, and I kept asking: "Am I alive?" This world seemed to me more a dream than that. Only after four days did I feel better and even somewhat completely different. The memory of the trip came back later. Now I did not notice in people those shortcomings that I had seen before. Before that, I condemned everything. I believed that many people did not know how to cope with life's problems, except for me. But now I have a different opinion on this matter.

Three months later, one of my friends said that I should have been tested. I went through all the tests. I felt good, but I was still afraid to receive bad news.

I remember that the doctor, comparing the results of the examination before and after my near-death experience, said: "Well, you have nothing now." I asked: "Perhaps this is a miracle?" He replied, "No, it happens. This is called spontaneous remission." It made no impression on him. But a miracle happened, something impressed me more than anyone else.

LESSONS

The secrets of life have little to do with intelligence. The universe is not an intellectual process. Intellect is here as an auxiliary means: it is bright, but we are not developing it now, but the heart, the wisest part of us.

The center of the planet is the greatest energy converter, as can be seen in the photograph of the earth's magnetic field. This is our circle, attracting incarnating souls again and again. This is a sign that you are reaching the human level and developing individual consciousness.

Animals have a group soul and reincarnate into a group of souls. A deer will always be a deer. But, having been born as a human, it does not matter a genius or an invalid, you take the path of development of individual consciousness. By itself, it will become part of the group consciousness of humanity.

I have seen that races constitute groups of individuals. Nations such as France, Germany and China each have their own personality. Large cities also have personality - they are local soul groups that attract certain people. Families are united in a group of souls. Individuality develops as a fractional dimension that evolves through our personalities. The different problems that each of us have are extremely important. This is how God examines his Self through us. So ask questions and search. You will find your I, and you will see God in this I, because this is the only I.

Moreover, I saw that each of us has a kindred spirit. We are all parts of one soul, crushing into many creative directions, but still one. Now I look at each person as a kindred spirit, the one that I have always been looking for. But the greatest thing in you is you yourself.

You have both masculine and feminine at the same time. We experience this in the womb and through reincarnation. If you are looking for a soul mate outside of yourself, you may never find one. She is not outside of you. Just as there is no God 'there'. God is here. Look for God here. Take a closer look at your Self. Start by loving your Self. And through this you will love everything.

I descended into what could be called Hell, and it was an amazing experience. I met neither Satan nor evil there. My descent into Hell was a journey into personal, ordinary human suffering, ignorance and darkness of misunderstanding. It turned out to be like eternal suffering. But each of the millions of souls around me had a small star of light, always available. But no one seemed to be paying attention to her. All were consumed with their sorrow, wounds and grief. From this seeming eternity, I called out to the Light, like a child appeals to parents for help.

The light opened and formed a tunnel, reaching right towards me and freeing me from all this fear and pain. This is what Hell really is. All we need to learn to do is join hands and walk together. The doors of Hell are now open. We will connect holding hands and come out of Hell. The light approached me and turned into a huge golden angel. I asked: "Are you the angel of Death?" He replied that he is my Supersoul, the matrix of my Higher Self, the most ancient part of all of us. And they took me into the Light.

Soon our scientists will begin to measure the soul. Wouldn't it be a miracle? We are now on the verge of inventing such devices that will be sensitive to the subtlest or spiritual energies. Physicists use accelerators to split the atom, to find out its structure. They got quarks and charm. But someday they will get to the smallest particle that supports everything, and they still have to call it … God.

With atomic installations, they not only study what it is made of, but also create particles. By the will of God, some of them live for milliseconds and nanoseconds. We have just begun to understand that we are creating too. This is how I saw eternity, understood reality, in which there is a point from which we draw knowledge and begin to create the next level. We have this ability to create as we explore. And in this God expands himself through us.

From the moment I returned, when I had a direct experience with the Light, I learned to find it in space through meditation. It is available to everyone. You don't have to die to attain it. The instrument is in you. You are already connected with him. The body is the most magnificent light being. The body is a universe of amazing light. The spirit does not remove us in order to destroy the body. This is not what happens. Stop trying to become God. God becomes you. Here.

Spirit, like a small child, running around the Universe, feeling the need, and thinking about it, created this world. I ask him, "How does your mother have to deal with all this?" This is a different level of spiritual awareness. O! My mother! Suddenly, you give up your ego, realizing that you are not the only soul in the universe.

One of my questions to the Light was: "What is Heaven?" And we immediately began to travel through all the Heavens that were only: we visited Nirvana, the Lands of the Successful Hunt and all the rest. I walked around them. These are thought forms that we ourselves have created. We are not actually going to Heaven, but are undergoing reincarnation.

I asked God: "What is the best religion on earth, the most correct?" God answered with great love, "It doesn't matter to me." What an incredible grace. It doesn't matter what religion we belong to. Religions come and go and change. Buddhism is not eternal, Catholicism is not eternal and they are all meant for enlightenment. A lot of light is coming into all systems now.

Many oppose this, and one religion goes against another, believing that it is the only true one. When God said that it was not important to him, I realized that we are the concerned party, it is important to us. It doesn't matter whether you are a Buddhist or a Jew to the Source. Each is a reflection, a facet of the whole. How I would like the followers of all religions to understand this and not interfere with each other.

No, this is not the end of the division of religions, but a simple principle: live and let others live. Everyone has their own outlook on life. But all together we make up a great picture.

I went to the other side with many fears: to toxic waste, and nuclear weapons, and the population explosion, and acid rain. I returned with love to each of these problems. I love nuclear waste. I love the mushroom cloud of an atomic explosion. This is the holiest mandala that we have demonstrated as an archetype. Faster than all religions and philosophical systems of the world, that terrible and amazing atomic mushroom united us all, brought us to a new level of consciousness.

Knowing that we could blow up our planet already 50 or 500 times, we, in the end, realize why we are all here together now. For some time, bombs have to be dropped on us for this to reach us.

Then we will start saying: "… enough, no more." We are, in fact, safer now than we were before, and the world continues to move in that direction. So I came back loving toxic waste, because it brings us closer together. This is great.

Freed from acid rain, in 50 years we will be able to reforest the planet. If you are into ecology, do it; you are just that part of the system that has come to awareness. Do it as best you can, but don't get discouraged and be enthusiastic. The earth is in the process of putting things in order in its economy, and we are cells on its body.

Population growth is close to the optimal energy level needed to cause a shift in consciousness. This shift in consciousness will change politics, monetary system, energy.

What happens when we sleep? We are multidimensional beings. We can comprehend the levels through lucid dreams. In fact, the entire universe is a Divine dream.

The main thing that I saw is that we, humanity, are a particle of the planet, which is a particle of the galaxy, which, in turn, is also a particle. There are gigantic systems, ours is average. But humanity has already found its legend in cosmic consciousness.

The little human being of planet Earth / Gaia is legendary. Dreams made us legendary. We are different in our dreams. The entire cosmos is looking for the meaning of life, the meaning of all that exists. And, precisely, the one who sees the dreams has come with an answer. We saw it in a dream. So dreams are very important.

After death and return, I truly respect both life and death. In our near-death experiments, we have probably opened the door to a great mystery. Soon we will be able to live as long as we want in this body. After 150 years or so, the soul will intuitively feel that it is time to change the guide. Reincarnation, as the transfer of energy in this fantastic vortex flow, is more inventive than eternal life in the same body. Indeed, in reality, we are going to learn the wisdom of life and death, and we like it. We already live forever, that's exactly how things are.
