In Christianity, this is money-grubbing, indifference, love of money, that is, loot and other nonsense. In neopaganism, some new gods, self-named priests and wise men, and other dregs, are incomprehensible and from nowhere. In secular atheism, pride, selfishness and other vices. And everywhere, kneeling worship (read submission) to new idols, the performance of rituals and adherence to religious canons is required.
