There is a time bomb in the Pacific Ocean. A huge concrete dome filled with plutonium from US nuclear testing threatens the Pacific Ocean. And now it is bursting at the seams!
This concrete structure, dubbed Runit Dome, is located in the Pacific Ocean of Enevetak Atoll, Marshall Islands.
The facility contains 101,498 cubic meters of plutonium-contaminated radioactive waste from US nuclear tests conducted in the Marshall Islands.
Plutonium is one of the most toxic radioactive materials with a half-life of up to 24,000 years.
No one knows for sure how much plutonium has already appeared in the lagoon, the Pacific Ocean and the World Ocean. Typhoons or storm surges can erode concrete slabs or compromise the integrity of a dome underwater.
In addition, sea levels could rise by one meter by 2100, which means the area will be flooded. Fukushima 2 is brewing in one of the most heavenly places on earth!

The speed of space debris in orbit relative to other objects can reach 10 km / sec. Such a high speed means that the object carries colossal kinetic energy and collision with working spacecraft, even a tiny debris, will entail serious damage

Pollution dates back to the days when plastic was invented. On the one hand, it is an irreplaceable thing that has made people's lives incredibly easier. Facilitated until the plastic product is thrown away: plastic decomposes for more than a hundred years, and thanks to ocean currents it gets lost in huge islands
