It became known that general manager the plant is no longer Olesya Mulchak, but a Chinese Ju Gofa … I heard about this in the audio recordings that were collected at the site of the check. This comment was given by a man representing the side of the Aquasib LLC plant at the negotiations.

It also became known that this organization is now the owner of the land on which it wants to build the plant. A completely logical question arises - on what basis? In the Rosregister, there is no information about the owner at all. And it’s strange that local residents cannot build anything on these lands, but here "bam" - you can have a plant of three buildings, and even in the coastal zone.

Disputes around the topic "Is the construction of a plant harmful to the environment or not" are full and they do not stop. But those who defend the point of view that there will be a plant do not at all realize that, as a result, “capital” will ruin everything. “Today” is the development of the coastal territory of Lake Baikal, the widespread felling of valuable forest, and “tomorrow” our children will be written and told new tales about Russia, once rich in natural resources. It sounds epic, but it is.

And what happened after the representatives from the people followed the delegation?

There were negotiations that took place behind closed doors. The delegation was headed by Valery Popov, Assistant to the Presidential Representative for the Siberian Federal District. He said that a series of meetings with all authorities would be held on the topic - is it lawful and whether the construction of the plant is necessary. The delegation reviewed all documents and projects. I drew conclusions.

Judging by the fact that after the meeting, literally a few hours later, it became known that the construction of the plant had been suspended, the arguments in favor of stopping were weighty.

I would also like to inform the residents of our country that the case concerning Aquasib LLC is currently pending in court.

- Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.

Therefore, I can safely say that our appeals to you are valid. Whoever says it, the expression of popular opinion by legal methods works. The court session is scheduled for March 26.

You can track the progress of the case yourself here. The fact that there was a suspension of construction is, of course, happy. But do not relax as you need a complete stop in the construction of the plant. Therefore, it is worth continuing to express your position in a LEGAL way, through appeals to the appropriate authorities.
