Fire destroyed the library of the RAS Institute in Moscow

The fire in the building of the library of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located at Nakhimovsky Prospect, 45, began on January 30, 2015 at about 22:00. 32 fire brigades are involved in extinguishing, the third level of danger is assigned to the fire.

The Fundamental Library of INION RAS, founded in 1918 as the library of the Socialist Academy of Social Sciences, has about 14 million storage units, including dissertation abstracts and microfilms, as well as rare editions of the 16th - early 20th centuries, documents in ancient, modern Eastern, European and Russian languages.

The library contains the most complete, and in some cases the only Russian collections of documents of the League of Nations, the UN and UNESCO, parliamentary reports of the USA (since 1789), England (since 1803), Italy (since 1897) and one of the largest in Russia collections of books in Slavic languages.

"According to a law enforcement source, signs of arson were found at the site of the fire. In addition, the library staff interviewed reported that developers were repeatedly interested in the land on which the burned building is located."

Thirdly, if you believe the same LifeNews, the main book depository has not suffered, which is already good.

“The fire broke out yesterday, at night, and destroyed the roof of the building and several floors. At the same time, the book depository was not affected by the fire. The unique scientific works were saved due to the fact that the book depository is located on the first and basement floors of the building, and the fire started from the upper ones. The EMERCOM employees managed to prevent the fire from approaching the books. At the same time, the director of INION, Yuri Pivovarov, noticed that some of the manuscripts were damaged during the extinguishing of the fire.

- Many books are flooded with water, but we have already been offered to help dry them with special machines, - said Yuri Pivovarov.

"In turn, the director of the institution, who arrived at the fire, told LifeNews that he links the incident with the chronic underfunding of the library."

It is customary to say that manuscripts do not burn, but the chronicles burn with a natural regularity …

History of the issue:

Who is hindered by the millennia-old exhibits of the Cairo Museum?

Those who came to power illegally have always tried to destroy the traces of the past. so that no one could accuse them of illegal seizure of power. The Romanovs, for example, destroyed the "Discharge Books" and wrote their "Velvet Book" instead. This is how libraries, monuments of architecture were destroyed, museums and many other evidences were destroyed, which in one way or another could interfere with the implementation of the plans of the conquerors.

Along with the artifacts, people who knew the truth about the past were also destroyed and could suddenly prevent the introduction of one or another ideology with their publications. So, for example, church ideologists diligently keep silent, and if they fail, they destroy everything that is associated with the real possibilities of human development, which is associated with the real laws of the nature around us. Ideologists in the field of history make themselves blind, not noticing direct evidence of the existence of a highly developed civilization on our planet in the recent past. And if it is not possible to shut up, then these traces are simply destroyed. And it doesn't matter by whose hands it is done, by religious fanatics or by an uncontrollable crowd of protesters …

Looting the Cairo Museum: Are History Falsifiers Covering Their Tracks?

Egyptians microblogging Twitter, one of the few sources of popular information in Egypt, has reported cases of looting at the Cairo Museum. According to users, the Egyptian army guards one of the most famous museums in the world, but about 40 soldiers were seen looting and looting the property of the Cairo Museum. As a reminder, back on Friday, January 28, the first fears arose about the safety of the museum's expositions, since riots are taking place in its immediate vicinity.

A few days ago, there were reports that a group of marauders defeated Cairo Museum, destroyed or took out many exhibits. Then there were denials, they say, "the insurgent people" put up voluntary protection, and therefore practically no damage was done to the priceless historical artifacts. In fact, it was not quite like that. Now they write that about 3000 exhibits were damaged, and it is rather difficult to accurately assess the damage today. However, it should be noted that two mummies were destroyed … It would seem, how could these mummies interfere with someone?

Here, too, the behavior of the "marauders" is rather strange. They had almost no time, and it seems that the numerous destruction and damage to objects occurred purely to create a "smoke screen". For example, they write that the pogromists took with them a long shaft-handle, which was attached to "a sheet chased fan made of gold." At the same time, the fan of the purest gold itself was not touched! Can you imagine this kind of robbery-marauding behavior? Here one immediately recalls the most amazingly organized and carried out in the shortest possible time the plundering of the museum during the hostilities in Iraq. Then, as soon as the Americans took the territory around the National Museum under control, groups of "spontaneous marauders" immediately appeared, who, it is completely incomprehensible how they opened the steel doors of the vaults, perfectly navigated the complex plan of labyrinths and carried out the most valuable things. At the same time, for some reason, destroying many of the things that could not be kidnapped (to divert eyes? Or as a kind of revenge?).

Of course, the question immediately arises - is everything so simple here? Is there a kind of double bottom here?

Let's go back to the mummies. In the Egyptian Museum, according to the latest reports, 27 remains of the pharaohs and high dignitaries. At the same time, the mummy of Queen Hatshepsut appeared among the exhibits quite recently. One interesting feature of the study of the history of Ancient Egypt is associated with mummies. The fact is that not so long ago, various texts were found on papyri and linen bandages with which mummies were wrapped. And here it is worth remembering that, according to the founder of the New Chronology, Academician Fomenko and his followers, many historical chronicles, chronicles, multivolume books of supposedly "ancient" historians were actually forged already on the threshold of New Time - at 16, 17 and even 18th centuries.

At the same time, the story, firstly, was mercilessly falsified, and, secondly, it became antiquated. We will not talk about aging here, but a few words should be said about falsification. It is known that real inscriptions were destroyed on many sarcophagi. What was actually written there, in what language and in what writing - we will probably never know. The papyrus scrolls that were kept at the feet of each mummy could well have been falsified. A completely different matter - linen bandages and papyri, which were wrapped around the bodies of deceased members of the royal family and dignitaries. The texts on them were discovered quite by accident, some of them even turned out to be in Etruscan!

Recall that among the exhibits of the Cairo Museum is the recently appeared mummy of Queen Hatshepsut. We do not know if this mummy is missing, damaged, or nothing happened to it. But it is likely that among the bandages or papyri there could be texts that did not fit into the bosom of traditional history and chronology. Even texts in Latin, being found in the sarcophagus of a dynasty that disappeared long before the rise of Rome, could already turn many ideas upside down. What can we say if there were suddenly samples of Cyrillic writing?

In any case, the destruction (or substitution) of two mummies is a completely illogical and meaningless action for disorganized robbers. And do not grinningly say that robbers and marauders have no logic. There is logic, and it is extremely simple - profit. Here, the criminals indifferently walked past valuable objects made of the purest gold, but for some reason they took out their anger on harmless mummies that did not interfere with anyone. So the question is - were these mummies really so harmless?

Remember the fate of the National Museum of Iraq. Was the plundering of the priceless treasures the real goal of the entire operation in the desert? And today, in Cairo, there is a spontaneous and senseless riot that supposedly arose quite by accident (but in reality - provoked by a sharp injection of thousands of messages on Twitter and other social networks). Could it be that everything was done to get to the two mummies? Or did you just have time to, as they say, “hurry up” in time?

In general, there are, as usual, much more questions here than answers. And yet, such coincidences do not seem accidental. Iraq, Egypt, whose museums are next?
