Moscow, Russia. A secret Nazi-era tactical base was discovered by Russian explorers on Alexandria Island in the Arctic Circle, 620 miles from the North Pole.
Base codenamed "Schatzgraber" or "Treasure Hunter"was built by the Nazis in 1942 - a year after Hitler's invasion of Russia - and was primarily used as a tactical weather station that was critical for planning the strategic movements of Nazi troops, warships and submarines.
“Previously, this was only known from written sources, but now we also have real evidence,” said Yevgeny Ermolov, senior researcher at the Russian Arctic National Park. In the written source Ermolov mentions the book "Wettertrupp Haudegen", published in 1954 and written in German. This story of how the base was abandoned in 1944 has often been dismissed as a strange wartime myth. Shipments reportedly fell to dangerously low levels. and the officers stationed at the outpost were forced to kill and eat a polar bear, as a result of which there was an infection with trichinosis and the entire staff of the base was seriously ill. The scientists stationed at the base were eventually to be rescued by a German submarine.
After the Russian Arctic National Park found the remains of this Nazi base "Treasure hunter" In the Arctic, numerous relics of the Nazi era wartime were brought from the outpost.
Many objects are identified, which allows you to confirm their authenticity. Artifacts include items bearing the signs of the swastika and Nazi eagles. These artifacts will eventually be transported to Russia, where they will be studied, archived and eventually published.
Among the ruins of the bunkers, rusty bullets and other relics of World War II have been unearthed, many of which remain in good condition in the cold climates.
"About 500 items of historical value were collected at the former German Treasure Hunter station, which operated on the Alexandra Land island of Franz Josef Land from September 1943 to July 1944," said Yulia Petrova, press secretary of the Russian Arctic Park, in a statement … "They include ammunition and military equipment, household items, personal belongings and fragments of meteorological devices."
In total, more than 500 objects were discovered, including a batch of well-preserved documents. The codename given by the Nazis led to speculation that the outpost had a secret mission- some experts believed that this may have served as the basis for the search for ancient artifacts, many of which were believed to have supernatural powers.
The Ahnenerbe was an institution in Nazi Germany that researched the archaeological and cultural history of the Aryan race with strong occult influences. Founded on July 1, 1935 by Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Wirth and Richard Walter Darre, Anerbere later experimented and organized expeditions trying to prove that mythological Scandinavian populations once ruled the world.
Alexander Land, the area where the base was found, was a disputed territory for many years, but is now officially recognized as part of the Russian Federation. Russia is reportedly planning to build a permanent military base in the region.
Do you think this means that there were found any hidden ancient artifacts or other occult items that the Nazis possessed?
