Today, on the Internet, you can more and more often come across articles and videos popularly telling that we, it turns out, live according to the so-called Maritime or Admiralty Law, according to which from the very birth to the very end we are not independent people, but dependent property of corporations. into which all countries of the world have been turned.

Names and surnames in documents are no longer written as they used to, with a capital letter, but entirely in capital letters, we live not according to the stake, but "by law", we do not own anything - neither an apartment, nor a house, nor a car - but only by the right to use them, we pay taxes, although we owe nothing to anyone, like the same English “kings” of Windsor, who are exempt from any taxes. Well, and so on - sheer sadness, in a word …

I decided to figure out how much this phenomenon of our current reality is reflected in the language - in this case in English - and here are some interesting parallels I found …

When we are born, we go out into life like ships: mothers break waters (waters break), we find ourselves at a dock (dock, doc, doctor), a doctor who gives us a birth certificate. Almost immediately we are loaded onto a common "ship" - we get citizenship.

Further it turns out that since our world consists of two parts - land and water - then two laws apply to them - the Law of the Land (land law) and the Law of the Sea (maritime law). According to the law of the sea, we are nothing - slaves on galleys (as a man like Putin once called himself). You can find out about this in the HR department when you apply for a job, because for them you are just a "human resource" - human resources. Therefore, when it comes to our forced relationship with the state-corporation, its task is to lure us from the land to its territory, into the sea. What is safe and happens, say, in English courts (or on ships?), When the defendant has to go through the "gateways" (gate or Watergate), stop in front of the fence (bar) and then step on the "thin ice" (hot water), moreover, if he drowns, i.e. will be convicted, according to the law, it can be "bail out", in other words, redeemed on bail.

If, as a result of the proceedings, a person loses his home, the British say that the house is under water (went to the bottom). If the poor man is a debtor, then he "drowns" in debt (drown in debt).

This is because it has no liquid. After all, you probably know that any business, if it wants to survive in an economic bad weather, must have "liquidity", that is, quickly turn into money (liquid assets). And the sea itself (it's the ocean, it's the lake) can help this, which was previously called mere in English, from where, for example, the little mermaid, mermaid, has survived today. And not only. Because not one little mermaid, but the sea itself knows how to hypnotize and enchant - enchant. For this there are special people - merchants, traders.

They deal with cash flow. Which has the property, like water, to flow into the sand between the fingers. Moreover, this flow is limited by the banks of the river, which in English are called the familiar hieroglyph banks. And the flow itself has a flow - current. Where did such an important thing today as currency come from - currency.

For some reason, it seems to me that you can no longer continue … or continue to infinity.
