The series of articles on force fields in architecture includes many different topics, including the issue of standing waves, which is very popular at the present time. They are also of a field nature, little studied in the field of architecture and partly anti-scientific. There are many opinions, criticism, suggestions for influencing people of such waves, there are different methods of correcting the situation, so it became necessary to clarify this topic and bring a common denominator. Obviously, standing waves exist, both from the point of view of physics and eniology, and being a problem, they have a negative effect not only on people, but in general on all physical and field objects. Let's look at the solutions to this issue in the past, find out what exists at the moment and how it is wiser to act in the current situation. Let's get down to business.

THE NATURE OF STANDING WAVES

Perhaps not everyone is aware of the essence of standing waves, in this regard, we will give them a definition. The space of our world is permeated with waves of different types and qualities. Waves emanate from any objects, since each object has information and power, and therefore pulsates. Each wave has its own frequency and length. For the emergence of a standing wave, a certain ratio of its frequency and distance in a closed space is necessary. Length, in the case of architecture, can be limited by structures such as walls. A standing wave appears only at the desired resonance, achieved by the distance between the source and the reflector. The frequency depends on many factors such as material, thickness or internal structure. Every wave produced or reflected is obstructed and reflected as a result. In architectural structures, as well as everywhere, there are waves of their own. All structures are pulsating, emitting waves and can work as reflectors and sources. Further, it is necessary to recall the main principles of modern international architecture - these are parallels and perpendiculars with rigid right angles and the metric system of measurement. There are other principles, but these are the ones that are of interest right now.

Inside a room with parallel smooth walls, the effect of a double reflector between opposite walls is obtained, and the dimensions and aspect ratio in the interior space also play a role. Any wave reflected from the wall or generated by its vibration moves forward and is reflected from the opposite wall, returns back, and is reflected again. Also, the opposite wall emits its waves. The cycle repeats, the wave is reflected many times and at a certain moment the horizontal movement stops. She becomes standing, as she is not moving anywhere. As a result, the quality of the initial waves changes and some of the frequencies disappear, some are distorted, and most importantly, it loses its strength, which means that this room no longer feeds a person. Such waves are no longer compatible with living beings; they drain energy and create a pathogenic zone. And as mentioned in previous articles, our multidimensional organism automatically harmonizes space or at least resists harmful effects. The consequences are obvious - a loss of internal strength, fatigue, serious condition and illness. Thus, for the emergence of a standing wave, you need: a closed space with parallel planes emitting waves at a certain frequency and located at a distance that includes resonance. In physics, the issue of standing waves is very well studied in the field of sound, so if desired, anyone can familiarize themselves with this topic.

OBVIOUS SOLUTIONS THROUGH GEOMETRY

It is not reasonable to admit the presence of standing waves in view of their pathogenic effect, but we are solving this issue, so let's start with the simplest and most understandable method for architecture. In terms of mechanics and geometry, to stop a looped ricochet between two planes, you can change the angle of rotation or tilt of one of them, roughly but effectively. Thus, the wave will go completely in the other direction and will not linger in the room, it is also possible to damp it. It is important to change the position of the structure, and not to create a cladding on it at an angle from a lighter material, this method will not work. Although powerful reflectors of light weight or small thickness may be available, this area has been little explored. Therefore, it is safest to use a one-piece, basic structure. Let's consider this as the first decision.

The second geometric solution is to change the flat and even shape of one or more walls, and possibly a curved ceiling. A wavy, concave or curved surface is no longer able to create a wave that will enter the closed cycle of collision and folding with opposite waves. The ideal solution in this method would be the use of round, oval and similar wall shapes in the plan. A canopy in this respect is a very effective solution, since the angle of inclination and rotation is constantly changing in it. In general, any distortion of parallel planes knocks down a standing wave. But the most elegant solution in this method will be a distortion of the form, similar to the entasis of antique columns. Almost all temples on the territory of modern Greece were built on the basis of this technique. There are no straight lines in them, all designs are symmetrical or asymmetrical arcs that are invisible to the eye.

The third way to get rid of standing waves is called the crushing method. In this case, the walls and ceiling can remain straight and perpendicular, but protrusions and indentations appear on them. Their role is played by pilasters, columns, semi-columns, niches, bay windows, bas-reliefs and many other things. This is comparable to driving on a flat asphalt road and on a dirt or even off-road. In the second case, the speed decreases significantly and there is a possibility of getting stuck altogether. Likewise, our waves can no longer effortlessly move from one flat plane to another. By the way, a log wall, not leveled, and other highly embossed surfaces have similar properties.

The effectiveness and objectivity of the application of these methods for eliminating standing waves are different, but in any case they are all workable and, most importantly, they were used in the past. Although this is just one of the many results achieved using the above techniques. It should be noted that not every modern room has standing waves, since their appearance requires a resonant distance, which sometimes may not give an active effect, a separate method is based on this principle. By the way, from the point of view of eniology, in a completely symmetrical room, for example, in a square one, standing waves do not exist, they are compressed into one point in the middle, this is provable and real, but we will not touch on this topic for now.

PLANT METHOD

An independent place is occupied by the proportioning of sizes or the search for the correct ratios of quantities in different directions. In other words, this is the fathom method proposed by Anatoly Chernyaev, or, more precisely, restored from the past. Actually, it was his activities that served as an incentive for the creation of this article. Let's briefly give the concept of this system. Fathoms are living dimensions, tied not only to a person, but also to other natural things. The nature of fathoms is based on golden proportions and complex geometric constructions, their existence is absolutely objective and demonstrable. We will not go into details, fathoms can simply be used ready-made, they are self-sufficient and not tied to any tradition. The method of harmonizing space consists in using three different types of fathoms for the height, width and length of any object, volume and, most importantly, the interior space of the room. The result is a complete damping of standing waves in all directions, even in the parallel direction of the walls, standing waves are not created in them. This is how many boors are built around the world. Additionally, it should be noted that in all modern implemented projects, within the framework of this concept, the principle of measure was used, that is, proportionality to a person, expansion of space in all directions. According to people living in such houses, there is a tangible difference in the positive direction, in comparison with ordinary apartments. It is noteworthy that now the fathom method is used only in individual houses.

However, in this method, not everything is clear. The decisive role of the favorable living space of individual houses is played not so much by fathoms and proportions, although they are important, as by many other factors. These include: spacious rooms, environmentally friendly materials, the absence of a large number of electromagnetic waves and sources of wireless Internet, proximity to the earth's surface, natural ventilation and much more. In apartments, the opposite is true, and it is the experience of living in them that people compare to a new home. Checking the presence or absence of standing waves is possible, but difficult, today such experiments are not carried out within the framework of architecture, although the waves are felt by a person. But by itself, the fathom method definitely eliminates the resonance distances from the source to the reflector, which is solved today in construction by means of the metric system, which is most likely a stumbling block. It can also be assumed that earlier the plantation system was applied only to the most important structures, such as temples, chambers, palaces or strategic buildings. In the construction of simple residential buildings, for example, a simpler system of measures was used, which is always at hand, as they say. It can easily be assumed that the result of using the span system of measures also eliminates standing waves. It is possible that we do not stand aside, we look at a lot of fathoms, previously they could have been used in a slightly different way, in a narrow direction, or the mechanism of application was simpler.

As a result, we have a complex, but fully working tool, applicable, at least in temple building. The fact is that in churches, the saplings are objectively measured and really exist. However, in the modern interpretation, all this is not very convenient and applicable on a massive scale. It is important to remember that no one method can be a panacea, no spheres with circles, no antique style, no fathoms with spans. Each time has its own methods and technologies that allow you to create a healthy living space, devoid of both pathogenic zones and standing waves. By the way, it is worth paying attention to the work of consciousness, as the most powerful tool for managing reality. If a person is absolutely sure and knows that he lives in a favorable space, created by fathoms, spans or otherwise, it acts favorably on him, depending on his personal power. It turns out the placebo effect, in which consciousness changes the physics of the world. But all these are just assumptions, which nevertheless have the right to exist.

Now we need to look back and remember what and how they built before. In principle, we have already mentioned above in the text various techniques to get rid of standing waves, although it is easy to assume that our ancestors did not know about such a disaster at all, nevertheless, we will go over this topic again. It is important that in the old days the architects did not think how to avoid certain problems, they simply created a blissful space for life and work, using the canon, intuition or mathematical calculations. This is comparable to a healthy lifestyle, in which there is no need to look for ways to fight diseases with the help of drugs, they simply do not exist, since the basis of life is laid down correctly. Here are some of the techniques used around the world in different eras to help prevent the formation of standing waves:

  1. Log walls - do not create a plane of reflection, but are not very effective
  2. Columns, semi-columns and pilasters - knock down the regular rhythm of the movement of waves
  3. Embossed stone walls - prevent wave reflection
  4. Round dwellings of different nations - leaders in the field of harmonious space
  5. Golden proportions in the ratio of sizes - expressed in fathoms, spans and calculations
  6. Inclined walls, turning into vaults - similar in work to spheres and circles
  7. Lightweight structures (fabrics, paper, reeds) - do not create significant fields and waves at all
  8. Signs, symbols, paintings, etc. - neutralize the negative impact at the information level
  9. Distorted wall rotation angles change the plane of the reflection.

It is noteworthy that the standing wave effect itself has appeared recently, along with the concept of attractiveness of flat, regular and perpendicular surfaces. It is easy to guess that this is the work of the hands of the "system". They are primarily brick walls, reinforced concrete floor and wall slabs, plasterboard partitions and other modern innovations. All these things are exactly what I create, as mentioned earlier, the effect of a mirror. It is almost impossible to find such things in the architecture of the past, and if there are analogs, then there are compensators that do not allow pathogenic effects.

CONCLUSION

It is impossible to say unequivocally that standing waves in modern architecture are the main trouble that spoils our health and psyche. In addition to them, there are other things of a pathogenic nature that are characteristic of our time and have a harmful effect. In any case, to address these issues, it is necessary to make real changes in design and construction. This is a kind of integrated approach that solves many problems at once, like switching to a healthy lifestyle instead of treating a specific disease. It is important to understand that when solving the problem of standing waves using the methods described here, other problems of modern architecture do not disappear, for example, right angles, which require rounding even if standing waves are excluded. Practical techniques from architecture have passed, regarding the creation of envelope structures are applicable now. Even if they are created in the modern interpretation, they will still work for the most part. There are many solutions, you can go through the physics of geometric shapes, use systems of Slavic measures, such as fathoms or spans, and even just exactly imitate examples from the architectural heritage. It is only important to get off the ground and look at construction not only through standard projects and modern building materials of a technocratic nature, but much more broadly.
