Numerous "eternal lights" that appeared in the USSR in the 60-70s are the revival of the cult of Perun. The most canonical Perun Temple is the Eternal Flame at the Kremlin wall in Moscow - it was made, among other things, on the basis of archaeological research and scientific reconstructions of academician B. A. Rybakov. How the struggle of different forces in the leadership of the USSR and in the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU for the revival of this cult took place, I will not describe now - the story is long and completely detective. But as a result, after Brezhnev nevertheless put his signature on the current, historically accurate version of the project, the Moscow Eternal Flame became a natural model for all other Lights throughout the country.

Historical accuracy and cult functionality are not observed everywhere, but in general the general principles were not violated. Historically, the Perunov temples differed in their functionality. The Moscow Eternal Fire belongs to the so-called memorial type of temples - those that were dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers and were organized on the battlefield and in the homeland of the fallen heroes. Modernization consists only in the fact that in ancient times the "inextinguishability" of the fire was ensured by the attendance of servants who constantly kept the fire on the Temple, placing oak burners in it, and today a non-blown natural gas burner is used. Well, the Temple itself is made more thoroughly, from stone. For the rest, all the canonical rules are followed thoroughly.

These include in particular:

- The inextinguishability of Fire.

- Stone Altar (granite, thunder stone).

- 24-hour honorary armed military guard.

- Military paraphernalia laid on the Altar stone.

- Lowered campfire site relative to the "bypass" level.

- The rise of the entire Temple above ground level.

- Rite of worship to the fallen warriors-heroes with the making of a symbolic sacrifice in the form of oak wreaths.

- Severe punishment for attempts to extinguish the Fire or desecrate the Temple (the status of the guard of honor allows the use of weapons).

- Some other more specific rules.

In addition, the Moscow Temple of Perun was made according to ancient rules, which were no longer always observed in the 10th century. The Memorial Perunovo Temple originally envisioned a funeral rite of burial of the fallen soldiers or some of them - a funeral blood with the subsequent burial of the remains at the temple itself. Those buried on the memorial temple symbolized all the victims to whom the temple was dedicated. The remains of a warrior whose name is unknown, and who thus officially symbolizes all the fallen heroes, are buried at the Moscow Eternal Flame.

When the pagan temple was not erected directly on the site of the battle, then earth was brought to it from the battlefield - thus, it became magically connected with the place where the soldiers directly fell. In the complex of the Eternal Flame in the Alexander Garden, urns with earth from the hero cities are also installed - i.e. with the land where the soldiers performed their heroic deeds, to whom the Temple is dedicated.

This is a very archaic rite of earth magic. Part of this same magic is the tradition (sometimes observed to this day!) To take a bag of native land to the front. In case of death and burial in a foreign land, this land was poured onto the grave - i.e. the deceased was betrayed to his native land, after which, from a magical point of view, the ashes turned out to be, as it were, buried in their homeland, and not in a foreign land, which facilitated subsequent communication with the spirit of the deceased, and the deceased retained involvement in his family for further reincarnation.

It is characteristic that this particular magical rite is practiced by the Church, when during the funeral service "interred" the deceased - sprinkles the body with earth specially brought from Palestine (centralized deliveries) before the final closure of the coffin lid. And the Christian, thus, is not buried in his homeland, but in distant Palestine.

Here are some more examples: millions of Russians, in fact, perform Vedic requests to their ancestors in cemeteries, when they leave food on the graves, and the immortal regiment, which thundered on May 9 throughout the country, in fact, was a modern celebration of the ancient pagan Family, because people during the ritual carried not dubious leaders, but their fathers and grandfathers.

The ROC (unlike most citizens) clearly sees the pagan cult of Perun and permanently, under various pretexts, demands the closure of the Eternal Fire.

This is not surprising, because at the heart of the happy part of the ROC there are several other traditions that can be considered with this example:

(There are two more videos in this episode: Temple on Bones and Seminary Teaching - optional)

At first glance, this seems to be stupidity, a ritual relic. But in fact, these are not just "dead flies", this is the real cult of Beelzebub - "Patron of the flies". He is mentioned in the Bible as well. This ancient Sumerian deity is responsible for pestilences, diseases and epidemics. Flies and their larvae are his servants, who spread diseases and devour relics … Everything is serious here. This cult is not led by marginal Satanists, but by priests in temples on altars …
