The system of total surveillance on the Internet, in social networks, in gadgets was introduced by the United States. The Americans immediately realized that all your gadgets - from your smartphone to everything else - are your personal spies. I mean, the spies are behind you. Now, almost any application on your cell phone is capable of surveillance.

Spying on users is carried out under the guise of a commercial motive, ostensibly in the interests of advertisers. The interest of advertisers, of course, is there, but has long been of third-rate importance. Online espionage has developed at such a rapid pace that it has gained global importance. The volume of accumulated (and constantly increasing) spy information turned out to be so great that the special services were faced with the problem of analysis. The Big Data phenomenon has emerged.

Occupying a leading position in network espionage, the United States, until recently, was condescending to similar activities of other states. However, times are changing, a couple of years ago, the Americans launched a campaign against insolent Chinese network spies (competitors)

That is, the Chinese are doing exactly what American companies are doing. But unlike the Chinese, the Americans are somehow more democratic in spying.

Last month, miraculous technological advances - far removed from any government or military organization - of American companies came under American courts.

To put it bluntly, Facebook processes user photos and recognizes faces. Of course, all this is done solely for the convenience of users. At the same time, forgetting to inform that ALL computed signatures of faces are sent Where Should.

Why does Facebook need this? Yes, there is no need, the global face recognition system functions mainly in the interests of special services, for police needs. Can I turn off the face recognition function? IT IS FORBIDDEN.

To believe that by checking or unchecking a checkbox there, you are protecting your privacy from the total espionage of Facebook and others like it is naivety, to put it mildly.

A similar Facebook system for processing your photo-video material was introduced by caring Apple. This spy service is presented to tears touchingly: “Finding friends in the“People”album.

Make the work of surveillance easier, sign people on your photos!..

You cannot turn off the “find friends in album” function.

Sberbank has long been financing and introducing the latest technologies for tracking people in the interests of the FSB, if anyone has not guessed yet.

The American court ran into native Facebook purely by inertia. The provincial judge did not have time to get the good news that the Facebook suspect was politically amnestied. Now he is good, and can continue to work in the interests of the American intelligence services.

Why do you need total face recognition in all smartphones and tablets, in all social networks? For surveillance, of course, it is not at all necessary for the owner of the gadget and account. You never know who was accidentally captured by the camera of his phone. In one fantastic American action movie, I saw the scene of the secret service chief giving the order to look for someone on all smartphones and tablets in the world. This bright police future has already arrived. By the way, voice identification, speech analysis is technically much easier than face recognition. And therefore, audio identification has long been introduced into all smartphones, and it works quietly for itself. Your phone always listens to you. Keep this in mind.

The stage of global surveillance, in general, has already been passed. Humanity is faced with the task of controlling thinking and correcting people's social behavior using network technologies. How this can be done effectively is already clear. But there is a hitch with practical implementation. If total network surveillance, albeit shoving with elbows, was supported by all powers. Sometimes everyone has different, often opposite views on the control of thoughts and behavior of the wards. A collision of historic proportions lies ahead. Stimulated by a brewing world war.

You and I are lucky to live in the era of freedom on the Internet. This quarter of a century of amazing virtual freedom is, in general, a historical accident. This era is irrevocably leaving the whole world. The historical transformation of analog - warm-tube, "Brezhnev" - totalitarianism into digital format began.

And we, people with experience of Soviet life, receive certain advantages. In the new world, we know and understand a lot. The differences between a gay parade and a May Day demonstration of workers are vanishingly small. Total state control does not demoralize us. Our (totalitarian) Soviet past is partly your digital future. It's time, it's time to think about how to deal with it.
