Nevertheless, back in the 80s, Professor of Kazan University Ratner A. Yu. dealt with this problem. It is difficult to accuse Ratner of amateurism - he is the author of 10 monographs and more than 800 scientific papers.

His scientific activity was extremely serious, to the extent that he simulated the birth canal and "gave birth" to experimental rats, performing standard manipulations with their head. Unfortunately, the rats had nothing to thank the professor for, but it would be nice for us to feel gratitude for his work. Thanks to this, you can at least estimate the scale of the disaster.

Here is what he wrote in his monograph Late Complications of Birth Injuries to the Nervous System:

“In the process of removing the head and removing the shoulders of the fetus, which is generally accepted in obstetrics, by manipulating the head to the cervical spine of the fetus, an exorbitant load falls. It is at this moment that crackling and crunching is usually heard. And further:

"An undeclared in the manual, but often existing in practice tactic of suppressing attempts to extract the fetus, while pulling behind the head is inevitable - and, consequently, stretching the fetal torso by the neck, with the same degree of danger for the vertebral artery."

Ratner explained most cases of cerebral palsy with just such a Jesuit tactic of obstetrics.

The question arises, how far from the truth is the legend that in ancient Rome, newborn children of slaves were deliberately twisted their necks so that they would grow up depressed, inhibited and underdeveloped. According to legend, therefore, there were no uprisings in Rome, and the rebellious slave - Spartacus - was born free, and his neck was not folded in infancy.

And here in our time, at the start of life, they turn a child into a slave. As soon as the head appeared outward, the obstetrician turns it 90 degrees. The fine blood flow in the neck that feeds the baby's brain is impaired. The development of brain activity slows down, various diseases are provoked, including autism. In this case, the trauma may not appear outwardly immediately, which usually happens.

Of course, the consequences can be of varying degrees of danger, and perhaps a healthy organism will cope with them later, but do you want to check this on yourself or your loved ones?

It is forbidden to put pressure on the belly of a woman in labor during a normal pregnancy, but in the video we saw that it is widely used. The pressure injures the child - the most dangerous stress on the spine is compression. After all, any pediatrician will tell you that newborns should not be planted or put on their feet.

This is how the daily practice gradually develops, when a cesarean section becomes the norm.

Cutting the umbilical cord

Cutting the umbilical cord immediately after the baby is born is extremely harmful and wrong. The fact is, through the umbilical cord, the fetus is connected to the placenta, which during childbirth contains about 20% of the child's blood. The best option is when the umbilical cord dries up and falls off by itself. This takes several days.

Cutting the umbilical cord is essentially a surgical operation, and any such operation is an injury, and the healing process takes quite a long time, up to two months.

Our doctors try to cut the umbilical cord as soon as possible. What is the reason for this rush? Placental blood does not clot, it is a building material, it contains stem cells. The approximate cost of 1 g of placental blood is more than $ 600.

Home birth is an opportunity to protect the baby from injury, vaccinations, antibiotic-resistant staphylococcus.

Of course, there is always a risk, you just need to prepare for it. By the way, in some countries, at the legislative level, an ambulance watch has been introduced if childbirth occurs at home.

If you nevertheless decide to give birth in the hospital, then the presence of the child's father during childbirth is necessary. In order to monitor what the doctors are doing, provide psychological support to his wife.

The process of childbirth by nature is arranged so that they are as easy as possible. The duration even for the same woman is always different. Someone gives birth in 15 minutes, someone gives birth more than a day.

After circumcision of the placenta, demand to give it to you: they will not be able to refuse, since it is your property. The placenta is usually buried in the ground, a tree is planted in this place: a birch, if a daughter was born, or an oak, if a son.

A woman during pregnancy has increased immunity, i.e., is extremely resistant to viral and infectious diseases, but at the same time, the most harmless pill can negatively affect the development of the fetus. Therefore, any pills and injections are categorically contraindicated for pregnant women. In addition, you should protect yourself from the effects of any drugs, alcohol and tobacco as well. An important factor is nutrition during pregnancy. It should be balanced, it should be based only on natural products, without dyes and preservatives. An ultrasound scan is also not recommended - it can harm the baby in the womb.
