The phenomenon of stone forests around the world

There are many types of forests on Earth, ranging from cute and light, very native to the inhabitants of central Russia, birch and ending with the impenetrable jungle of the Amazon. But what is surprising is that there are still “stone forests” in the world, both in the literal and figurative sense of this concept.

So, in the state of Arizona, USA, near the city of Navajo, there is a remarkable park with a similar name - Petrified Forest, where you can admire wood that is more than two hundred million years old, and therefore these miraculously preserved remains of trees actually turned into stones …

But there are also purely stone statues in the world, which are only conventionally called a forest, although in reality they are just heaps of bizarre boulders. Moreover, often such "stone forests" are not only interesting from the point of view of natural formations - some of them still remain a real mystery for scientists and, moreover, attractive sites for the study of paranormal phenomena on the part of independent researchers. Let's get acquainted with just two such "stone" anomalies.

Stone forest near Varna

The Bulgarians themselves call this place "Pobiti Kamani", this mysterious stone forest is located eighteen kilometers west of the port and world famous resort town of Varna in Bulgaria. As tourists assure, this place has a special energy and certainly beautiful - at any time of the year.

Scientists are still debating how these vertical stone columns came to be. There are many versions, ranging from the most realistic ("bacterial reefs" formed in places of methane release at the bottom of the ancient sea that once splashed here) to the most fantastic, describing "Beat Stones" as artificial structures left to us either by ancient civilizations or by aliens … It makes you think so, for example, that this small sandy desert really looks like the surface of another planet. It is not surprising that filmmakers have long chosen it, creating fantastic films here, for example, "Conan the Barbarian".

In this stone forest you can find a magic circle, which, on the one hand, suggests that certain religious rituals were once performed in this mysterious wasteland, and on the other hand, it makes modern seekers of the planet's "strong places" rush here in order to work with the energy of their body …

Markawasi stone forest

In Peru, in the Andes, near the capital of Lima, there is a mysterious forest - Markavasi. These are the same, as in Bulgaria, incomprehensible stone sculptures, it is not known how and by whom they were created - whether by nature, or by people or aliens. Many mysterious structures on this plateau are not just stone pillars, but real sculptures with human faces.

The Peruvians themselves believe that the stone forest of Markavasi is a place of transition to other worlds parallel to ours. There is one indirect confirmation of this. Once a patient came to Dr. Raul Rios Centeno, who had an almost complete loss of motor functions of half of the body - hemiplegia. The unfortunate woman said that she and her friends visited Markavasi at night, where they accidentally stumbled upon an illuminated cave, in which strange people were dancing near a fire in clothes from about the 17th - 18th centuries. According to the woman, some irresistible force literally pulled her into this cave and she would certainly have fallen into it if her friends had not stopped her by force. However, the unfortunate woman had already managed to step over the "threshold" of the cave with one half of her body - it was this half that was now paralyzed.

However, according to Dr. Centeno, the analyzes did not find any physical reasons for such paralysis, so it can be assumed that the inhabitant of Lima received a certain deformation in the energy flow of her body, since she experienced a shift in spatial and temporal dimensions, falling into another world in one half. If a woman had completely entered the cave, Raul believes, she simply would not have returned to our dimension, remaining forever in the world of those dancing people near the fire. Although … in that case, perhaps her body would not have undergone such a transformation that caused such a strange paralysis.
