On August 2, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev commented on the US law on new anti-Russian sanctions. According to him, he puts an end to the hope of improving relations between Moscow and Washington and indicates the beginning of a full-fledged trade war against Russia.

According to him, "the hope for an improvement in our relations with the new American administration is over."

“The Trump administration has shown complete impotence by handing over executive powers to Congress in the most humiliating way. - wrote the Russian prime minister on his Facebook.

The prime minister is confident that relations between the Russian Federation and the United States will be extremely tense, regardless of the composition of the Congress or the personality of the president, and the sanctions regime will persist for decades, unless “some miracle” occurs.

It is a pity that Mr. Medvedev, obviously, did not read the works on the basics of geopolitics, although he was not only the prime minister, but even the president, did not listen to the opinion of experts in geopolitics and geoeconomics, who spoke about the eternal enmity of the United States, the Anglo-Saxon world in general, towards Russia … This attitude is inherent in the law developed by Halford Mackinder, Alfred Mahan and others, which is based on the eternal confrontation between the centers of maritime and continental civilizations. This is the law of fundamental dualism - the main law of geopolitics. The point here is not that some are good, some are bad, but that the continental peoples live by the product of their labor, and the sea peoples, Anglo-Saxon first of all, have formed as a civilization that lives by the method of extraction. Its representative goes to catch mollusks and fish first, then islands, then colonies. And the Anglo-Saxon view of Russia is a look at it as prey. Admiral Mahan's Anaconda Continental Strategy states that whoever controls Russia controls Eurasia, who controls Eurasia controls the destinies of the entire world. That is, the center of world domination is laid down precisely in Russia. Our country is interesting to opponents both as a territorial basis of the planet, and as a different meaning of life, and as an object of prey for the Anglo-Saxon world. This is the root cause of what is happening, not ideology, economic model, and so on. Such ideas were implemented by the United States and Britain throughout the history of our relations, starting from the second half of the 19th century. Americans recognize Russia and talk on equal terms (without canceling their dastardly secret strategies) only when Russia is tantamount to the United States. There can be no other. When we are weak, we are their prey. And Brzezinski's phrase: "Russia is a prize to the winner of the Cold War" confirms that the United States has long regarded us as property.

Why are the Americans tightening their rhetoric and sanctions now? Because Russia is getting out of control. Until recent years, we have obeyed meekly - in personnel matters, in the economy, and in ideology. Although there is no ideology, the state ideology is not provided for or even prohibited by the Constitution, but the liberal ideology was implanted in fact, it is present everywhere, permeating all branches of government. While we endured all this without a murmur, they even applauded our presidents on the shoulder. Today in the West they see that Russia, firstly, is turning towards the East, since the era of the East and the era of the dying of the West are coming. Secondly, it tries to portray something independent in foreign policy. Therefore, today what is happening is happening.

Now Medvedev, a fan of the "reset", saw his sight and exclaimed: "The hope of improving our relations with the new American administration is the end … Russia has been declared a full-fledged trade war … The sanctions regime has been codified and will last for decades, unless some miracle happens." But Medvedev and not only he were obliged to know all this and accordingly plan preemptive actions of the Russian authorities. It is the rulers' fault that, on the one hand, they seem to condemn the Americans and unravel their maneuvers, but, on the other hand, they follow the usual liberal course, and not the course of the country's planned and strategic development. I would like the words, these conclusions (which smart people wrote to Medvedev or he himself came to this), followed by concrete actions, and not running around with a hat in a circle for handouts in the form of investments.

What measures is Medvedev himself talking about? Quote from Dmitry Anatolyevich: “What does this mean for us? We will calmly continue to work on the development of the economy and social sphere, we will deal with import substitution, and solve the most important state tasks, relying primarily on ourselves. We have learned to do this in recent years. " And in the summary, Medvedev's crown phrase in the style of “No money, but you are holding on” still sounded: “The sanctions are pointless. We can handle it. " The question arises: have we really learned to do something in recent years, or is Medvedev here wishful thinking, and in fact, we still have to learn all that he said if we want to survive?

I will refer to the speech of the Prime Minister of the Russian Government Mikhail Fradkov in 2005. He also said about the same thing that Medvedev says today, calls for development, concludes that if we do not learn new models of the economy, do not switch to new technologies, then we will pump oil and gas for foreign companies in a tattered sweatshirt and leave behind forever. Now let's take a look at the President's December 2016 message to the Federal Assembly. He says the same thing, adds only the word “digital” to “economy”, again calls “we need to move”. That is, in the 11 years since Fradkov's speech and before the president's message, practically nothing has been done in the economy. Even gas processing complexes have not been built, those most powerful complexes that Iran created during the sanctions period and now not only sells gas abroad, but sells it in the form of polymer materials. We have not learned how to do this. We did not build new oil refining complexes so that we would really not ship crude oil abroad, but high-tech oils and other liquids. In our country, if a breakthrough is indicated somewhere (as in the aviation industry), then this is not a systemic breakthrough. They announced "Superjet-100", assembled 85% of Airbus and Boeing components and assemblies, we pass it off as our plane, we are proud that we are signing contracts, but the aircraft industry as a system is dying. Today practically all branches of the national economy are degrading. We are not switching to high technologies.

Therefore, Mr. Medvedev should resign with repentance and leave. To give an opportunity to promote our industry on modern models for those who are able to do it. Medvedev and his government are incapable. They have completely proved their helplessness, they are successful only in filling their own pockets and in ruining the people. To fill the budget, the government does not develop cost-effective production models, but more and more shifts fiscal and any programs onto the shoulders of an ordinary person. Take any area of life support - and a communal apartment, and water, and gas - everything becomes more expensive. This is what Medvedev learned with his government - to put pressure on the population of the country, to transfer money from the people's pockets to their own. Medvedev has neither a strategic program for the country's development, nor even technology for the development of individual industries.

It is clear that the Americans are not afraid of Medvedev, Siluanov and Nabiullina - they are, so to speak, their employees. Subjectively, this may not be so, but objectively it is undoubtedly so. I don’t think they are afraid of Putin either, because all seventeen years of the presidency and premiership of Vladimir Vladimirovich in general also corresponded to the provisions of the Washington Consensus. But they are afraid of the Russian spirit, where, like an egg, lies the future development and greatness of Russia. Now I am in Crimea, in Partenit. This is a place with ancient legends and archaeological finds from the first centuries of Christianity. But even in ancient times there were Tavroscythians operating there, beating the warriors of the then West. They are afraid of them - our ancient Christian ascetics and pre-Christian warriors. If you rise from Partenit and move a little to the west, there will be the village of Gaspra, where Leo Tolstoy and Maxim Gorky lived. They are also afraid of Russophobes. If you move east, you will find yourself in Koktebel, where Maximilian Voloshin lived, one of the creators of the greatest literature of the 20th century - Russian. Nearby, in the Old Crimea and in Feodosia, lived Alexander Grin, who was dangerous for "civilizers" by chanting dreams and a masterful mockery of the rich. In Koktebel on Mount Klementyev, the father of our cosmonautics Sergei Korolev began his great activity. In Crimea, the greatness of the Russian genius is clearly visible, as it is concentrated in a small area. It is this genius that is feared. And all further efforts of the same USA, as the avant-garde of the West, will be aimed at suppressing our scientific, artistic and other genius. They are afraid of Russian cosmism, Russian aspiration, a powerful leap, which occurs when such an idea of development is put forward, for the sake of which it is worth developing. We need to know what to live for - to rebuild the world, as it was in the years of socialism, to be the first to reach cosmic heights. To do something that is interesting, important and useful for all of humanity. Indicate even the direction of human development. This Russian scale of ours, of course, causes alarm in the West.

I remember 1999 and a meeting with the recently retired US Secretary of Defense, William Perry. I rebuked him: “You are not rationalists, although they call you that. Russia is weak today. And you are moving NATO to our borders, launching a high-precision weapons program. What does this mean? After all, you understand that Russia is not your rival now. " And he suddenly said this phrase: “I do not consider myself the best expert on Soviet history, I just have been doing this all my scientific life, but I also have black holes in your history. The period from 1921 to 1941 is incomprehensible to me. Your country has made such a leap forward as no other nation in the history of mankind. " This is what they are afraid of.

And, of course, today at the tactical level in the medium term, Washington and especially New York are very afraid that Mr. Medvedev will be overthrown from his post. That Putin is also moved, and people will come really with Russian cosmism in their souls. Therefore, I do not exclude that Medvedev's article was written or initiated precisely from the United States, so that he would remain the chairman of the government for a long time, ruin the country and serve the interests of the United States with his sidekicks.

To summarize, Medvedev's article contains a message for internal use: "America called us an enemy, we see all this, we understand everything, we do not close our eyes, we will act." And for external use, the key phrase: "We will calmly continue to work on the development (read: degradation - L. I.) the economy and the social sphere." These words already betray the fear of Medvedev and others like him before any real changes. Be calm, gentlemen overseas. We will speak harsh words, but we will act as it suits you, as you please.
