First in Europe, and now in Russia, “naked promotions” have become popular, when customers are offered to come naked to the store and get a discount or even a product for free.

For example, among the well-known stories, you can take the German supermarket Priss in the city of Süderlugum, where the first 100 customers were allowed to collect goods worth 270 euros. In fact, about 250 people came, so most were left without a freebie. Desigual clothing store in France offered to come in lingerie and get two free items. In Russia, it was Euroset - naked customers received free cell phones. The tattoo parlor in Perm offered the girls to be photographed naked near the city's landmark, for which they would get a free tattoo. I see no reason to list and savor such promotions, there are dozens of them (I do not exclude, however, that some news on this matter was fake), this is not the purpose of this publication.

I just imagined that soon there will be promotions when people will be offered not only to appear naked, but also to do more "interesting" things in order to get a discount or a product for free, but it turned out that … in general, look for yourself, I will not advertise it …

You can treat such promotions in different ways. It can be considered an example of idiocy, or it can be called a brilliant move (after all, this is a working way to attract attention), we can say that the world has come "to the point" (although in fact it has not yet). Or you can think a little deeper over the problem. This is what we will do. But it is precisely "a little", deeper, and not completely.

With a superficial or straightforward look at things, one might think that such actions are arranged for the following reasons:

  1. A group of naked people will come to see people dressed, of whom there will be much more, apparently, these dressed people are precisely the purpose of the action - they are the ones who are potentially able to buy the most in the same store.
  2. The naked participants of the action themselves will receive a portion of memories and a kind of "psychological connection" with this place, so in order to refresh their memories of an unusual adventure, many of them will want to come again.
  3. The unusual nature of the competition will attract the attention of average ordinary people who are very interested in such entertaining things, just at the level of complexity that is quite accessible and understandable to them. Like a viral advertisement, news of such an action will spread throughout the city and even beyond, attracting more and more people to the famous place.

Generally speaking, the goals here are exactly the same as for all similar stocks - to outsmart the buyer and make him buy more than he wanted, or just buy something even if he didn't want to. Pay more attention to yourself and do something so unusual that people will want to talk about it over and over again, spreading information (it does not matter, in a good or bad way - the main thing is that the information goes to the masses, and there it will find your goal).

But is it that simple?

In control theory, nothing is so easy. Step by step, people are tested for how susceptible they are to a particular form of behavior. If earlier, 70 years ago, such a moral experiment was inconceivable, now people are quite willing to sell their honor to themselves, because the value system has clearly changed to a more licentious, permissive and free in the West.

Such promotions are one of the steps towards introducing into the general culture such a position in relation to oneself, in which your personal life ceases to be something valuable, important and special for you, when it can be sold for some good, when there is nothing intimate in you or in your personal life, and everything can be exhibited vulgarly. Good or bad, we are not discussing now, but thinking further.

So, the gradual shift in the level of what is permissible erases the line between the secret and the public, as if leveling everyone, making them equal and lowering the general level of morality. If “leveling” in general things works quite successfully (the education system plays one of the first roles here), then access to people's personal space is very limited. Everyone knows perfectly well that a person can be broken from the outside, but it is very difficult to break him from the inside. People have an inner support. If you enter the inner world of a person, then it will be much easier to rid him of this support.

So, such nudity and other options for selling your personal, step by step, allow you to gain stronger control over people. Now this seems incomprehensible to someone, but after a relatively short period of time we will see how people's personalities disappear, and with them internal supports also disappear as the last chance to resist global control.

What else can this gradually lead to, think for yourself. But glass houses have already been described in one well-known dystopian work, and the feeling of plane passengers completely "in all places" was already going to be introduced at some airports. Gradually, the feeling of fear of total control over a person will cease to oppress him, since he will have nothing to hide. Nothing personal. And it all starts with seemingly harmless actions.

In short, the decline in morality in such ways is a purposeful process that aims to expose a person not only from the outside, but also from the inside, in order to break his inner support, what makes a person a person.

Who else wants to get naked for free?
