I don't believe in UFOs - I've seen them three times

Usually stories about flying saucers are considered the lot of eccentric people. But when aviation and space professionals talk about them, they are treated differently. The first edition of the book "UFOs Above Planet Earth", written by the famous test pilot Marina Popovich, the wife of Soviet cosmonaut Pavel Popovich, was recently printed in St. Petersburg.

For this book, which she wrote for 15 years, the author received the Lomonosov Prize. In connection with the publication of a signal copy of the book, Marina Popovich gave an interview to Strana.ru.

- Marina Lavrentievna, how did you decide to address the topic of alien life?

- In the early 60s, I often went to the mountains. Every year, I spent at least half of my 45-day vacation on various expeditions. And then I was very interested in the subject of the yeti ("Bigfoot"). I took my daughter to one of these expeditions. She was the first to see the "flying saucer". It was in the Borzug Gorge in Tajikistan, where many of our paratroopers have recently died.

Our camp was then located at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level. I remember then my daughter screamed: "Look, you are talking about something here, about Bigfoot, and something is hanging over you!" This object was slightly away from us, a luminous ray was coming from it, which did not reach the ground. Then I noticed such a strange thing: it seemed to hang like a helicopter, but for some reason there was no hum from the engines.

- Was it hanging low above the ground?

- About three hundred meters. Why three hundred? Because next to that place on the slope there was a station, which had a mast 150 meters high. The height from the slope of the mountain (3500 meters) to the end of the mast is 150 meters, and to the hanging object is exactly twice as much.

- What kind of light was it?

“The color of the light emanated most of all resembled welding. This sight stunned us - everyone who watched it. For a long time after that, we sat by the fire at night and gasped. And at this time a miracle happened. Suddenly, a daughter drove out of the tent in a dream - someone began to pull her out, some kind of shadow. I went crazy, threw myself at this shadow, screamed. The head of the expedition, Rumyantsev, also saw something large and dark. Either it was a robot, or maybe from this alien's plate. You can read all this in more detail in my book.

- What year was that?

- It was 1962.

- How did this topic develop further?

- The next morning after the incident, I did not calm down at all. After the experience, my daughter and I both had fever and blood pressure. We were lowered onto the plain, and in the morning, at five o'clock, we were already on the ground and spent the night in the house of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Tajikistan. I remember a funny episode. I noticed a local uncle in the window and told him: "Uncle, will you pick some apples for us?" He smiles like that, wearing a skullcap, and politely says: "Now." He calmly brought a ladder and climbed high up a tree to pick apples for us. Suddenly they come up to him and say: "The car has come for you."

He brought fruit and said goodbye politely. And I ask the driver who it was. He replied: "Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Tajikistan!" And we at his estate came to our senses for several days.

Then there were expeditions to the Khibiny and the Urals. But the most interesting was my trip to the North. There we stopped on the shore of Lob Lake and once again observed a flying saucer not far off. And we even heard screams from her. By the way, at the same time there was a large expedition of cryptozoologists who were dealing with the problem of "Bigfoot". The last, third time I saw a "plate" in Star City.

- And in Zvezdny, where?

- She flew directly over the houses. This object was seen by a woman. She was paralyzed, lay near the window and saw something strange against the background of houses. Lights were already on in the houses, and here something like that hung a hundred meters above the houses. At first glance, she thought it was a crane. Then this crane drove around the garrison. When she called me, soldiers from the entrance were already running to me: "Oh, Marina Lavrentievna! Your flying objects are hanging with us!"

- Are you sure this was not a test of military equipment?

- No, this is impossible. I am often asked: "Do you believe in flying saucers?" I always answer that I do not believe - I know, I myself have seen them three times. My husband is a pilot, he flew the Su-24 in Dubno near Lvov. And once they flew at night on a Su-24. Imagine what kind of crocodiles they are - powerful, jet attack aircraft. And suddenly three objects go straight ahead - against the grain! They passed without a sound. Our pilots stopped flying because there was a risk of collisions, and in general it was not far from the disaster.

Then it turned out that this group passed further over Poland, over Germany and over Switzerland. From these countries, information was received about the passage of a powerful group of UFOs, in Belgium they even photographed how the planes were chasing them. You will find these photographs in my book, as well as the statements of the pilots. Another time, our pilots flew to night shooting, and once it appeared and just like that stood right in front of them and did not go anywhere. The pilot has to shoot, but everything is jammed for him. And then he took out his camera and filmed everything. At the same moment, the plate went straight up.

Another time, the flight director reported to our commander that there was an object hanging and hanging to the left of the runway, he was already tired of it. The commander himself flew to drive off the "saucer". He to her - she forward. He turned on the afterburner, it is even faster. Then his fuel began to run out, the airfield was already far away, and she turned in front of her nose and left. So that you fail! That is, if they read minds, they read them very accurately.

I observed some objects in the mountains, and once again I saw something, when one day I was driving from work - a huge, long one. Then I was in the "Ensk triangle" and in a special zone near Perm, where these "flying saucers" are often observed. I was there everywhere and saw something. But I will say right away that this did not make much of an impression on me. I often flew at high altitudes, at an altitude of more than 17 thousand meters, where I fell without oxygen. In a word, I somehow looked at everything already, and these "plates" did not seem at all strange to me.

Many people mistake spent rocket stages and swamp gas for "plates". Some people accept some kind of atmospheric phenomena, etc. for the plates. What I really want to note is that they make maneuvers, that is, they show some reasonable behavioral motives. This is the main thing - reasonable! Each time I felt as if there was a sentient being there. I am 100% convinced that their behavioral motives are reasonable. "Plates" can be called, I believe, only flying objects from intelligent worlds. At some point, I began to collect material on this problem and have been doing this for the last 15 years.

- And have some government agencies in our country engaged in the development of this topic?

- Yes, they are. This structure is called the Center for Venture Technologies, which is headed by Academician Akimov. In the scientific community, they peck him the way they used to, remember, they pecked Timofeev-Resovsky for genetics, Vavilov, etc. Nevertheless, the Center for Venture Technologies, in which I worked, has built a generator, which now, while modestly, brings them funds. What are they doing? They use this generator to irradiate aircraft turbine blades at a plant in Yaroslavl.

True, there are no such planes in operation. In addition, it turns out that General Vasily Alekseevich lived next to Chkalovskaya. He collected information on flying objects by order of the minister. And I have already written two books on this problem. He passed all the information to the General Staff, and from there it was sent to a special group of people. These are military researchers.

- What do you think gives humanity information about UFOs?

- I believe that today humanity is still making its first timid steps in space. Today, three powerful telescopes are constantly working in space, and they give real miracles. For example, the Polar Star, beloved by all pilots - we are guided by it - turned out to be 120 times larger than the Sun. As Hubble showed, Ursa Minor consists of as many as 20 stars!

And one star in this constellation throws energy into space at a distance of trillions of kilometers. More recently, Jupiter's moon Io ejected 6 million amperes of energy. The current of this energy was directed exactly to the center of Jupiter. Observers claim that the very space between Io and Jupiter begins to glow. Another of Jupiter's 16 moons, Europa, it turns out, has an atmosphere and may be quite habitable. I believe that manned flights to Mars will give a lot to mankind.

Although sometimes it is not necessary to fly into space to get new information. Just a few days ago, the NTV channel reported that fresh UFO landing sites were found in the fields near a parking lot in Krasnodar. Such concentric circles on the earth as there are in Great Britain and South America.

I was recently in Peru. Ancient Peruvian sources and oral legends clearly indicate that the Peruvians once contacted the "gods" who flew to them and taught agriculture and all kinds of crafts. They also have the Flood myth. But archaeologists only find the remains of the Incas in the ground. Until now, not a single Mayan burial has been found. Only their culture, their frescoes, but not a single grave or corpse. I was presented in Sanskrit with such an amazing tome of three huge volumes, in the format of four sheets of Whatman A1 glued together.

According to legend, the author of the information presented there is a sun-eating man. He had not eaten for two years, lived in the mountains, and recorded the Flood there and recorded his observations. This man scratched his letters on scrap materials. Then they were transferred to boards, and from boards - already on paper. Now we are translating this ancient text into Russian. It says that the Incas descended from the Atlanteans when Atlantis went under water. The first Incas had teachers. All this speaks in favor of the fact that we are in contact with alien intelligence.

It is believed that many discoveries are made under dictation. Remember, Tsiolkovsky could not think of how to send a man into space, but he had a vision of a smoky trail in the sky. I was at his house, and they say that he was written in the sky in a smoky trail, a cloud: "On a rocket." I met with Antonio Ravero, a Spanish scholar and writer. He told me, "Everything I did was dictated."

Also Jean Jacques Petit, an expert in hydrodynamics, academician, says: all the materials that I published, they came to me by mail, someone sent them to me. There are promises, people seem to be in contact with a higher mind.

By the way, no one ever suggested anything to me. But when I graduated from the school, our commander was Nikolai Petrovich Kamanin, he then commanded the cosmonauts.

He attended the evening, spoke and said what I have remembered for a lifetime: "Remember the five moral rules. Every person should be impeccable, honest, responsible, kind and courageous." These rules, he said, are followed by all pilots. And it is true! A pilot will never make trouble on the ground, because he has no opportunity to apologize, to this I came to the conclusion. Has no opportunity to apologize for something badly done or for a misfortune. Therefore, pilots, just like astronauts and sailors, have never been atheists.

- You personally knew Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin well. Was he a believer?

- I have already said that there have never been atheists among the pilots. But how are believers? We did not go to church, did not pray, but each one kept his faith in his soul. God is in everyone's soul. I tell you this responsibly, like a pilot who has flown for 30 years. I have never seen religious blasphemy among pilots, astronauts and sailors.

One man very wisely said - a very long time ago, when priests killed people for knowledge, for science - that people have three obstacles on earth. The first of these is the ignorance of the clergy. Both Giordano Bruno and Copernicus were killed. The second is the atheism of scientists who deny God. And the third is the complete irresponsibility of the democrats. Can you imagine what this was said in the 6th century BC by Pythagoras? Now, of course, the priests are educated, but the democrats are again irresponsible.

I got a craving for aviation during the Great Patriotic War. I was only four years old then, and I decided that I wanted to be a pilot to smash the fascists. When I was a teenager, I wrote a letter to Voroshilov - he was then a minister. Voroshilov replied, that if I have the ability, I need to send me to the school. And by that time I was already flying. I was almost six months late at the school, but still caught up with everyone else, and even stayed to work at the school after graduation. Then I entered Aviation Institute. I became an instructor pilot. Then I began to dream of a military career as a test pilot. And this goal led me further. I graduated from the institute, then the academy, graduate school. Defended the candidate.

By testing airplanes, I could apply the knowledge that I received at the academy. Then there was an assault on supersonic speeds.

Today, automatic devices are being installed on fighters, aircraft have become flying laboratories. And then all the work fell on the pilot. Once we were glued with sensors, and it turned out that under difficult conditions, for example, in the event of a failure of technology, the pulse of a physically healthy pilot reaches 150 beats per minute, the pressure reaches 220, breathing 47 times per minute and body temperature - 38, 7 degrees …

I was a fighter pilot, flew in all MiGs, up to the MiG-21. In 1965, I managed to overcome the sound barrier and reach a speed of 2320 km / h. This assault at high speeds and high heights cost the lives of many of my friends - they died during the tests. I became a test pilot in 1964, and 18 people came with me to the group. 16 of them did not return from the flight. I wrote my first five books about pilots who did not return from a flight.

Then I dreamed of flying into space, but did not pass the commission. When my husband was asked: why your wife, a professional pilot, did not pass the commission as an astronaut, she flies on fighters? He replied: "She speaks very quickly and a lot. And even when she eats, she speaks, but in space, if a person eats and starts talking, food flies out of his mouth. Doctors were afraid - he would die of hunger." They didn’t let me in because I had a little daughter, 6 years old. They said: "Here the husband flies, then you fly." I have 102 aviation records to my credit. Now I work as Vice-Rector of the International Institute of Management.
