The SYSTEM is rooted in the military culture of the Slavic peoples. This culture was and remains one of the unsolved mysteries of world history. Did it even exist? Previously, this fact was questioned. Information and opinions about weapons, tactics, and the military-social structure of the Slavic army were ambiguous and contradictory.
However, more and more historical evidence indicates that there was a military culture of the Slavic peoples. And it was in no way inferior to the systems that were created in the East.
The basis of the Slavic military system was local actions, and not the destruction of the enemy, the "correct" tactics, the planned seizure of territory and actions characteristic of standing armies and justifying their existence, therefore, the task of military training was survival in battle: a duel, a group fight, a skirmish with a superior the enemy of a single soldier, and then the concerted actions of the detachment.
Yielding to other peoples in armament and professionalism, the Slavs surpassed them in skill, the use of terrain conditions, the organization of reconnaissance, ambushes and surprise attacks or evasion of unwanted combat - all that was designated by the term "Scythian war". Superiority is not in quantity, but in fortitude, endurance, the ability to endure hardships, to manage with little to achieve a great goal - this is the main pillar of the guarantee of the victory of the military culture of the Slavic peoples.
The main foundation of the SYSTEM is the historical Russian military and Orthodox traditions, the centuries-old experience of training defenders of the Fatherland from the times of Ancient Rus to the present day. I would like to immediately determine that the term "Russian" means a martial art that was born long before Kievan Rus united the Eastern Slavs, today's Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians, into a single Russian nationality. Born as a means of the necessary self-defense of a freedom-loving people, the art of hand-to-hand combat was improved in the military princely squads, the Battle of the Ice and the Battle of Kulikovo were hardened.
After the revolution, the art of Russian hand-to-hand combat partly went abroad with emigrated officers and replenished the arsenals of foreign special services, partly began to be cultivated only in the family circle, partly got into the criminal environment during the repressions, partly began to serve the Soviet power in the state security and police, and partly was lost. The Soviet government tried to prohibit or hide everything that had common roots or was in any way connected with the church, faith, God. So, having the origins of the martial art, we drew information from abroad …
Based on historical information and sources, the SYSTEM remained in service with the Soviet army, but everything was carried out with the stamp "top secret"

A system of 10 thousand agents of the tsarist secret police and the paranoia of Stalin's repressions
Perhaps one of the reasons for the Stalinist repressions of the 1930s was the search for a part of the "enemies of the people" from among the provocateurs of the tsarist secret police. By 1917, the secret police had only full-time agents of about 10 thousand people among the revolutionary parties. Including temporary, freelance agents
