Deputy Nikolai Kharitonov claims that often Russians do not understand why State Duma deputies receive 380 thousand rubles a month and also have a number of privileges …
And if you look in the declarations, it often turns out that 380 thousand rubles a month is not the main income for many State Duma deputies. And therefore it is not clear, if almost every deputy has additional income (even higher), then why pay so much. And after all, soon they want to pay the deputies 800 thousand rubles.
Labor and stress
Nikolai Kharitonov believes that people do not fully understand how stressed a deputy is from work and what kind of work it is in general, to sit in the State Duma and vote for certain laws (as the party orders), and sometimes speak for 10 minutes in front of colleagues.
This is all hard work and people just don't understand what it feels like. In any case, it is clear that the people elect their deputies, and the people thus refuse to solve the most important problems in the country, shifting them onto their representatives, and the deputies themselves are these representatives of the people.
However, this is not convincing either. Kharitonov believes that the State Duma has a greater "moral deterioration" of a person than, for example, in any ordinary job, where there are no grounds for such a "psychological blow".
380 thousand is still very little
Despite the fact that Kharitonov claims that 380 thousand is a fair salary, although there is actually no harm there, many of his colleagues already point out that this is very little for the deputies.
In particular, the idea is now being actively lobbied, according to which the salary should be raised at least 2 times, that is, 800 thousand rubles should be paid as a salary to the “people's representatives” at once.
Many United Russia members campaigned for this, in particular Makarov, who believes that in no case should the salary of deputies be made less than 380 thousand, because 380 thousand is "barely enough" to live on. Although this is strange, considering that the people's deputies have an apartment at the expense of the state, and transport at the expense of the state. What is missing? This, alas, is not indicated by the servants of the people.
