A very interesting selection of photographs. The buildings are clearly abandoned for a long time, and some just lie in ruins. But, interestingly, the surrounding buildings were destroyed, and the same tower is still standing.
I also drew attention to the almost complete absence of people, which looks very strange for such grandiose structures. And those in the photographs look about the same as the banderlogs in our cartoon about Mowgli. By the way, I came across one interesting material where a person traveled around India, visited all these old temples and tried to find out from the locals what, what and why. So, in the end, he came to the conclusion that these temples were not built by the ancestors of those people who now live there. All these "brahmanas" who now own these temples, in fact, can not really explain anything. They simply retell the well-known myths from the Mahabharata, which in the 19th century was compiled by the British from local epics and legends. But all these explanations are superficial, because when he began to ask them about specific elements and plots that are in churches, it turned out that the modern "masters" could not really say anything about them, because they did not know. This means that there is no continuity of generations and no transfer of knowledge between generations. The temples were built by people of one culture, and now they are owned by people of some completely different culture.

Garbage Architecture: Cars, Houses, and Waste Islands
As the amount of waste on the planet grows, scenes from everyday life more and more resemble the plot of the post-apocalypse. We produce so much garbage that some craftsmen have already started using it to make cars - just like the characters in the movie "Mad Max"
Photo collection: Ural landscapes - the color pride of Russia
The Urals are the backbone of Europe and Asia. The oldest mountains of the planet earth are located here, their age is 400-700 million years. Perhaps once the Ural mountains were higher than the Himalayan ones, but now the main hills of the Urals are thousanders
Unreal cinema of the USSR: naturalistic models and landscapes without computers
Probably, many will be surprised that in some Soviet films the special effects were no worse than in many foreign films of that time. Take, for example, the science fiction films "The Road to the Stars" and "Planet of Storms" directed by Pavel Klushantsev: how smoothly and believably dynamic objects move in them in space. Something similar was realized by Stanley Kubrick in the legendary film "A Space Odyssey of 2001" only ten years later in 1968
