Natural phenomena are often surprising and incomprehensible to many. Some of them are a bewitching sight. They are absolutely not dangerous and are stunningly beautiful, for example, the rainbow that we see after the rain, or the northern lights. Others pose a threat to health and even to life. Square waves are among those. They look like a chessboard, but it's not that simple.
1. Where do square waves come from?
For the most part, this is due to the different directions of the sea currents and winds, when air currents direct waves in the perpendicular direction of water currents. In other cases, this is due to the fact that the waves of various storms collide, and the resulting new waves are directed in relation to one another at an acute angle or right.
It can also be associated with a sharp change in the direction of the wind, when the waves go in the opposite direction, and the water flows continue to move in relation to the newly formed flows at an angle.
Such a network of waves can appear almost everywhere in the sea, but this phenomenon is mainly observed near the coast, in shallow water. A characteristic feature is that in this case the sea calms down rather quickly and the drawing disappears by itself.
A lot of travelers, in order to see the sea in a cage with their own eyes, go to the French island called Re. And invariably, local residents warn everyone that if squares appear on the water, it is better not to go into it.
2. Why is it dangerous
Even if the amplitude is small, the waves can be unsafe, since there is a possibility that a person will simply be pulled into the open sea.
Net waves create underwater, sufficiently strong currents, which is dangerous not only for swimmers, but also for ships. Ships may capsize due to rolling caused by the current.
In rough seas since ancient times, captains direct their ships to the wave at a slight angle. If you drive the ship across, there is a huge risk that it will sink. Waves are much more difficult to deal with when they move in multiple directions.
An unusual drawing also complicates spatial orientation. As for the underwater currents, they form a vortex that pulls in everything that is within its radius of action. As a result, even large ships are thrown off their course. In this regard, it is recommended to observe this phenomenon from the shore, and to enter the water only after its disappearance.

Stress is an underestimated danger of losing sleep, family and work
“You sleep all night, otherwise you will not sleep. This way and that way. I got up, walked around, lay down. He lay down, walked around, got up, "- the song of the Soviet rock group" Sounds of Mu "describes the familiar to many difficulties with falling asleep. This condition most often occurs in response to exposure to stressors. Somnologist Mikhail Poluektov explains why it is so difficult to get enough sleep during stress and why sleep deprivation itself is a stress factor
Schumann waves and Kibardin's electromagnetic smog
Not many people know that all life on Earth is under the continuous influence of standing electromagnetic waves of low and ultra-low frequencies between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere. These are the natural electromagnetic frequencies of the planet Earth. One of them, the main one, is equal on average to 7.8 hertz

The Mystery of the Ziggurat and the Teraphim in Red Square
The building on Red Square is as much a "mausoleum" as Comrade Blank lying there is "Lenin". In fact, the "mausoleum" is a fairly well-known type of building - a ziggurat, at one time they were built by the Chaldeans - the priests of ancient Babylon, exclusively for occult purposes
