This article provides information on what results I got when analyzing textbooks such as:
1. Primer 1st class 1959
2. Primer 1st class 1962
3. ABC Grade 1 1983
4. ABC Grade 1 2011 Federal State Educational Standard program
The analysis is made solely on the basis of my observations, according to the worldview of our family.
1st grade primer for 1959 and 1962
These tutorials are similar, with minor changes when learning the letter sequence. Everything else is unchanged. So:
1. The first thing that struck me is that there are no pictures of animals that function as humans. Only people, very often they are schoolchildren. People are depicted in the same way as we are, there are no people with an unnatural face, body, etc. All proportions of a person are observed in the pictures. Conclusion: a child, looking at such pictures, associates himself with them.
2. All pictures are depicted harmoniously, everything is natural and beautiful. If this is a person, clothes, nature, then they are as real. The natural color scale, natural proportions are observed. The student perceives all harmony.
3. Women perform women's duties, men - men's. All this allows the child to express himself correctly in later life, which allows him to avoid stress.
4. There is not a single picture where children are bullies. There are no pictures - there is no perception of such forms of behavior.
5. There are a lot of pictures where children and adults interact with nature.
6. There are a lot of pictures where children study, help older and younger ones, lead a healthy lifestyle, and work.
7. There are no stupid pictures (for example, as in the ABC under the Federal State Educational Standards program “the ram beats the drum”). All pictures are serious, i.e. the child does not grow stupid, but rather become more mature.
8. In all the pictures, children and adults are happy.
9. Calligraphy is present in these textbooks: correct and harmonious spelling of letters, words, sentences. Patterns help you remember better.
Outcome:
The ideology of these textbooks is aimed at a healthy lifestyle, instills a love of learning, work, nature, and mutual assistance. The books themselves are harmonious, with natural drawings, which allows the child to perceive information without stress, information about harmony goes into the subconscious. All the information in the books, it naturally and only positively influences the formation of the child's worldview.
ABC Grade 1 1983
1. Pictures of animals that function as people began to appear. Moreover, there are pictures where animals are taught in schools instead of pupils, i.e. there was a replacement at the level of images …
2. Pictures are harmonious, people are depicted naturally in natural clothes. No hooliganism. The color scheme is natural.
3. There are few pictures where women and men would perform their duties.
4. There are no pictures where children would be bullies.
5. There are fewer pictures where children and adults interact with nature.
6. Partially pictures showing study, work, mutual assistance, healthy lifestyle are replaced by animals instead of people.
7. There are no stupid pictures.
8. In all the pictures, adults, children and animals are happy.
9. Removed calligraphic writing and left just the image of a capital letter, without writing. There is not a single word or sentence with written letters.
Outcome:
The purpose of the textbook is aimed at healthy lifestyles, work, mutual assistance, love for nature, for work, but to a lesser extent, and images from people to animals began to be replaced. There is a substitution of concepts. The child sees, understands that yes, this is the way to behave, but other information goes into the subconscious: yes it is necessary, but it’s not me (after all, the image of an animal, not a person). Pictures are harmonious, pleasantly perceived by the eye and the brain. Calligraphy has disappeared completely.
ABC 1st grade 2011 (FSES program)
In one word, this textbook is not suitable. And now in more detail:
one. The textbook is not bright, not harmonious, unnatural bodies, faces of adults, children. I have not seen a single picture with natural proportions. Colors, especially in clothes, are incomprehensible, violating the harmony of perception. The textbook does not evoke any beauty at all.
2. To a small extent alcohol is promoted (in the form of glasses on the table), debauchery (a girl is half-naked on the beach), consumption (computer, telephone, etc.).
3. Often found in pictures aggression, hooliganism, disorder (in the house).
4. Healthy lifestyle and love of learning, work, mutual assistance completely replaced by animals, and there are only a few pictures throughout the tutorial.
Only one picture was found where people work on the ground, but at the same time there is a fence in the picture and on the person's face there is hatred for what he is doing. The subconscious mind reads this picture as an unpleasant activity in the garden, and at the same time [a person] is also limited in movement, which means that he is limited, ie. the earth is "something bad."
5. There are a lot of silly pictures.
6. Not that calligraphy is completely absent, but in general capital letters.
Outcome:
The textbook is not at all harmonious. If there is no harmony, then a stressful state is formed in the child. Alcohol, debauchery, hooliganism, aggression, hatred of work are promoted, consumer thinking is formed. The concepts of love for nature, for learning, and mutual assistance have been replaced.
