Many people do not know that they are slovens, but they suspect that something is going wrong. So I decided to write about how you can determine for yourself whether you are really a slob. But what to do after such self-determination - decide for yourself.

To begin with, you need to decide who is a sloven at all. Different dictionaries give different definitions, but many are similar in one thing: this is an irresponsible person, careless in business, often does not fulfill what he promises, a hack, etc. But I don’t like it when the definition of an internal property is given through some private external manifestation of this property in practice. Therefore, I will still give my more complete definition.

Razgildyay is the person who deliberately follows fake ideals and values, knowing for sure, or at least guessing about the existence of ideals and values that are more correct for him personally

Let us analyze this definition in more detail, because it contains a lot of omissions that a slob will hardly bother to think about on his own. And since the article was written mainly for slovens, I have to explain to them everything that they will definitely not explain to themselves, just swallowing once again the text from my blog and being after that confident that they have become smarter. I will speak in the simplest words, even to the detriment of the maximum detail that I strive to achieve myself.

So, in our world there are different ideals and values. Ideals - this is what inspires a person to live, sets him up for a desire to sincerely invest his creative potential in this, the limit of the development of everything that is important to him. Values - this is what is valuable to a person, the totality of all that a person relies on in his choice and decision-making. For simplicity, the ideal can be perceived as the highest embodiment of some value, as its ultimate-complete form.

To clarify the difference, I will give examples of ideals and values. I give a list of values (as they say, "from the lantern"), and then, in the same order, I list the corresponding ideals as I personally see them (different people can and WILL see different ideals as the ultimate forms of the listed values).

Values: power, striving for truth and sincerity, freedom of speech, will, choice (including freedom from restrictions), neatness in business, good appearance.

Ideals: sovereignty or omnipotence, truth, freedom, perfection, beauty.

Ideals and values can be not only those that evoke positive emotions in the reader. For example, power is already a negative phenomenon in our culture for many. However, if you think about it, it becomes clear that the authorities as such are not idiots sitting in offices and making idiotic decisions due to their complete managerial ignorance. Power is the ability to manage, realized in real life practice. If you can control something, then you have power over it, and if you can’t, then you don’t. Everything seems to be simple and there should not be any negative emotions here. Such emotions appear when, for example, power turns into exploitation of a person by a person, or when one person begins to at least think that another is making the wrong decisions (it does not matter whether this is so or not), but to the power itself as such, these emotions have no relation.

However, among the ideals in our world there are also really negative, "bad" ones. For example, the ideal of a consumer society, slavery, the ideal of capitalism or a totalitarian sect (however, there is not much difference here).

It is clear to the reader from the examples that there is some difference between “good” and “bad” ideals and values. There is a feeling, as if vaguely perceptible only by inner sensations, of the presence of something important in the “good” and the absence of the same important in the “bad”. As if the absence of this important, like the absence of light, turns white into black at once. From good - evil (as a lack of good). Let everyone think for himself what exactly this element is, the absence of which immediately dramatically changes the picture of the ideal. Most importantly, remember that the same ideal can be perceived in different ways by different people, and therefore the “grain” that makes the ideal “good” and the absence of which makes it “bad” can also be different for different people.

For me personally, such the highest ideal, the “grain” that makes all other ideals “good”, is God and His Providence for people. If a certain ideal is consistent with the Providence of God, then it is “good” for me, and if it conflicts with Him, it is “bad”. I repeat that this grain may be different for you. But you know exactly what it is. At least you can feel it intuitively.

So, if this "grain" is not ideal, then it is fake, that is, empty. Yes, that's right, I do not want to further use the emotional words "good", "bad", because these are only human evaluations caused by emotions. The ideal can be either filled with content, consistent with some of the most important and most important ideal, or it can be deprived of such content, for whatever reason it turns out to be fake.

But still, a holy place is never empty, fake ideals are quickly filled with parasitic entities, and therefore a person serving such a fake ideal begins to serve these entities. But we will talk about those later. The main thing here is to understand that fake ideals are empty, not in the sense that there is nothing in them at all, but in the sense that they do not have that very positive content, objective in relation to a person, that this ideal fills with itself.

As soon as any fake ideal becomes a dwelling place for parasitic entities, another definition of the word slob can be given. This is the kind of person who deliberately serves parasitic entities or voluntarily is under their power.

It may seem to a person of atheistic and materialistic convictions that from that moment (or even earlier) some kind of esoteric delirium began. But I am not an esotericist, just with the help of such terminology it is easier and simpler to explain what could have been done in scientific language, but much longer and more difficult. Let me explain why in this definition it makes absolutely no difference whether an atheist-materialist or an idealist-esoteric reads it. Imagine an atheist who constantly does not have enough time, he is always late, does many things at the wrong time or at the last moment, in the morning he cannot get up on time so as not to be late for work, events around him unfold in such a way that he is almost always uncomfortable to accept them. participation. Does this sound familiar? Now think for yourself: what's the difference, just say that a person is under the rule of a casual parasite (this is a parasite from a casual, that is, an event-time stream) or say the same thing in atheistic language: a person's actions do not agree in time with the events around him? There can be many reasons for this mismatch, but you can just say again that the parasite takes away the energy and time of a person, or you can say the same thing by listing a bunch of useless things that seem useful and important to a person and then prove to him that it is possible many times (or even dozens of times) it is more optimal to build your life strategy, distributing things more correctly. Esoteric terminology, if you use it correctly and give words the proper measure, helps to solve such problems much more effectively than atheistic terminology, but requires more developed abstract thinking.

So, once again: a person serving a fake ideal always serves some kind of parasites, and these are not necessarily human parasites, they can be other entities. Let's say, here, there is an astral parasite that feeds on human emotions. A person who is under the control of such a parasite can be recognized very easily. This is an emotional hedonist - a person striving for pleasure of an emotional nature, who puts his emotional comfort first and can do outright stupid things just for the sake of emotional pleasure. Still, such a person can easily turn out to be a hysterical, emotionally unstable person, whom any trifle can infuriate for a long time. You must admit that it is easier to say that a person serves a parasite than to describe for a long time and persistently the mismatch of this or that sphere of a person with reality, in order to show him the waste of energy or point out the “essence” on which this energy is spent. We can say that a person is under the rule of a mental (from the sphere of reason) parasite, or we can prove to him that he, being under the rule of a false concept of the world order (for example, being in a sect), regularly does stupid things. The latter can be done without going into esotericism, but it is much more difficult than turning an atheist into esotericism.

I already wrote about the difficulty of realizing the fact that a person is in a sect. As the saying goes, it's easier for the rope to go through the eye of the needle.

Another meaning of the word "sham" is manifested in the fact of following the ideal. An ideal filled with content always leads a person who follows him to a meaningful result consistent with the person's life mission. Outwardly, it looks like a person is good at everything, he easily achieves his goals, does not experience any special unpleasant problems and ultimately achieves a lot. The fake ideal only takes away the strength of a person, NOT giving as a result anything but a feeling of devastation. As a result, it turns out that the person invested his energy, but received nothing meaningful in return. All the energy was consumed by parasites. Outwardly, it may look as if a person cannot achieve what he wants, no matter how hard he tries, something goes wrong all the time, some problems constantly arise that prevent him from achieving his desired goals, a lot goes on in life. nakos, topsy-turvy, and even in addition, and hands can be out of the ass. The number of such problems in such a person is in direct proportion to the number of parasites that he serves.

With the concept of "fake", I hope we figured it out. Now let's talk about the knowledge and intention of the person himself. Any person has a more or less developed instinct for the presence of this "grain", or positive content in any ideal. This instinct consists of several elements: a sense of conscience and shame, a sense of proportion, intuition, reason. These and other qualities of a person, as well as knowledge of the culture in which he lives, allow him, if desired, to unmistakably determine the nature of the ideal: whether it is full or fake. Even if errors in this definition may arise due to defects in the human psyche (no one is perfect), the qualities listed above still allow - IF DESIRED - to correct this error quickly enough. Moreover, even in the absence of such a desire, such religious feelings as conscience and shame will still pester a person from time to time and point out to him the failure of his ideals. Yes, it is understandable that only a vaguely intuitive feeling is not enough to solve the problem, but it is completely enough to understand that something is not clean here - and to start thinking about it.

It follows from what has been said that ANY person, to one degree or another, KNOWS about the nature of his ideals, if not everything, then enough enough to at least begin to think about the correctness or incorrectness of his aspirations. For this reason, deviation from the correct (for a person) ideals and values, as well as following fake ideals and values, can ONLY be INTENTIONAL. In principle, it cannot be any other. Even if a person was able to completely kill in himself the qualities necessary for obtaining proper discrimination, he could only do it intentionally, through long and painstaking work, that is, initially he knew what he was doing before he finally lost his mind.

As for mistakes due to ignorance, here the same thing: a person's instinct will always show that a mistake has been made, which, in fact, will instantly eliminate ignorance, that is, a person already knows where to start to eliminate his ignorance. Life is arranged in such a way that mistakes due to ignorance always pass painlessly for a person, but on one condition: if this ignorance is caused by objective reasons, and not by the subjective desire of a person to forget about learning when there was an opportunity and need to learn. Thus, we can say that mistakes out of ignorance do not exist at all, this is just a part of the learning process.

Now let's repeat our definition in other words, but with the understanding of the meaning of these words, which is meant in this article.

A person who deliberately serves fake ideals and values, knowing that he should have served other, more correct ideals and values, the existence of which he knows or even vaguely guesses, is a slob. In other words, a sloven is one who voluntarily is under the rule of parasitic entities

Naturally, a slob who read this definition will say that he has absolutely nothing to do with him. However, the reason for this refusal to accept reality is that the sloven did not bother to think about the consequences of his slovenliness, which are perfectly visible in his life through external signs. You can deny anything, but donkey ears will still stick out from under the hat. Therefore, additional clarifications are required here, so to speak, different types of these very donkey ears. I will list them after a short but important explanation.

How to understand?

So I gave a detailed definition, but on its basis it is difficult to understand whether a person is a slob or not, especially when you consider that a slob who by some miracle has read up to this place WILL NOT think about the definition long enough to reliably determine the degree of his slovenliness. He needs help and explain how such a definition can be used.

Imagine the well-known process of putting matches on the table in no particular order. Here is one match, here are two. Here are ten, twenty, and then at some point on your table there is already a "pile" of matches. At what point did a certain number of matches become a heap? This moment is different for each person. The same can be said about sloppiness. I will list below a number of signs (not all, but only those that come to mind in twenty minutes), and you can apply these signs to yourself. When there are enough signs, you can safely consider yourself a sloven. How much do you need? I don’t know, think for yourself, because I don’t know when for you personally the randomly lying matches on the table turn into a “heap” of matches.

Signs of slovenliness (donkey ears)

I think 20 signs will be enough, although in reality there are many more. But if you get the idea, this is enough for you, and if not, then the complete list will not help either, because in this case you are not just a sloven, but a militant and stupid sloven.

Here I can’t help you with anything … or rather, I don’t even want to.

1 You have at least one idea, but usually there are several of them that have been in the "development" stage for a long time. It can be a promise to do something that has been going on for years. It may be a kind of offer to help a person in something, which in the end is never fulfilled and is forgotten by itself. It can be a project that was started and at one point stopped, and any attempts to revive it always run into some external obstacles or their own laziness and other forms of procrastination.

2 Your expectations are very different from reality. It may be a project that “didn’t work” due to an unexpectedly bad result: it was expected that people would be interested in it and thus profit would go, or other enthusiasts might catch up, but everyone just looks and no one does anything. This may be a stupid concept, the author of which expected that now he would reveal a great truth to the world, people would read and penetrate, but in reality it turned out that everyone did not care, because everyone already knew that they were living incorrectly (in fact, the lack of understanding of this simple fact is also a sign of sloppiness). In simpler cases, a person expects one thing, but gets something much worse. Examples of such simple situations can be found on the query "expectation reality" in any search engine (do a search exactly by the pictures).

3 The feeling that the world is unfair, people live incorrectly, people are unreasonable, do not see their own stupidity, and you just know all this, and you know what to do to make it right. Although even if you do not know this, but simply think that everything is wrong, this is already enough.

4 You feel like you deserve more.

5 You have a burst of enthusiasm when you say to yourself "well, stop sitting on your ass!" - and run to do some useful work, but after a very short time the enthusiasm disappears, and the matter stops until the next impulse. As a variant of this situation, the quickly started work then turns into a sluggish mode, stretching for years, after which the idea simply ceases to be relevant and you have to do something new. This feature is also typical for all clubs of losers, the main goal of which is to change the world for the better.

6 You are attached to the result of your work or to your achievements. You cannot calmly “let go” of what you have done with your own hands, give it away for free or sell cheaper what you have dearly received, but you think that you deserve more. Desiring something more, you, as a rule, do not get anything at all, and the thing that you no longer need, that you cannot give away or sell cheaper (with seeming damage to yourself), stupidly and uselessly grows old in the barn, after which IN GENERAL, no one will need it. Not to myself, not to people - that's what it's called. This also includes your dependence on your old achievements (for example, records in sports), you constantly want to talk about it at convenient times and recall the past with nostalgia: how strong (smart, good, resourceful) you were before.

7 Your actions are motivated not by high meaningful ideals that go beyond your own life, but by a banal desire to see the result of your activity during your life, to enjoy it in an emotional or physiological sense, after which you can safely hang skates on the wall.

8 You are guided by personal interests in making decisions, weighing your own benefits and costs, without paying the same strong attention to the interests of others. One of the most difficult examples: taking a loan with interest - knowing in advance that you are destroying the financial stability of some people who will be forced to look somewhere for this non-existent money generated by the loan interest, you still think that the end justifies the means, and the end is conditioned only by your own interests (your family, your friends, etc.)because you are actually trying to bypass the fair reward mechanism by dumping your negative feedback for stupidity on other people. You take out a loan, and this generates money that does not exist in the economy, and then someone will rake it for you. Simpler examples: run from the end of the queue to the just opened cashier next door without asking the others in front of you if they also wanted to go there before you; take 2-3 parking spaces at once with one car; smoking next to other people in a public place; honking from the car to the whole yard in the middle of the night shouting: "Masha, come out, we have arrived"; buy disposable items or use disposable plastic packaging, because: “Then what should I smear on my face so that it looks like a human in the morning?” says a person who is unable to refuse cosmetics in non-recyclable packages. The answer to this question is simpler than generating excuses for his stupidity, but a person still prefers to find excuses, knowing in advance that this is self-deception and the payment for stupidity will be much more than the benefit now received … however, it will be "later", and such people think categories "here and now".

9 You find it easier to generate an excuse for your actions than to think about their correctness.

10 You are constantly late, you do everything at the last moment, in the morning you are always in a hurry to go to work. This is an example of working on the fake ideal in which the casual parasite has settled. You can waste time on "TV series", "in contact", on anything else, but when morning comes, you, with red eyes and "five more minutes", turn it into a mad rush around the apartment, intending not to be late at least this time …

11 Your main motive lies in the astral realm (emotions), for what reason receiving positive emotions is put by you in the first place in relation to everything else. All your decisions are conditioned only by those emotions that you experience when thinking about the problem. If something promises unpleasant emotions, you will probably refuse it, unless the refusal leads to even more unpleasant emotions. Your value system is based on such an ideal as hedonism: a life for pleasure, the arrow of emotions is always tilted in the most positive direction, and don't give a damn about everything else, which, in general, is also pleasant for many of you.

12 You have a mess not only in your head, but also at home. Things are out of place, which leads to additional costs for finding them at the right time. You cannot immediately put the thing back in its place, because it is inconvenient, it is easier to throw it anywhere, with the intention of “transferring it later,” and then in fact, forget where you put it. This does NOT include situations when you have a mess, but you quickly and accurately always find the right thing, because in this case for you personally it is order, and it seems like a mess for another person who simply has a different idea of order.

13 The word "later" turns out to be a frequent accompaniment to your decisions. Many things you do not finish to the end with the intention of finishing them later, at another time, when it is convenient. This "another time" may come after a much longer time than you expected, or never come at all due to the loss of relevance. This also includes situations when you prefer to get what you want "now", knowing in advance that a severe reckoning will come "later."

14 You are in a sect.

15 You have ambitious plans, but time passes, and plans remain plans. Can't do a damn thing. Everything can somehow change, remaining as far from the desired, but you continue to think that "just now good prospects have just opened up, the image of one cool thing is already flickering." But you see the flickering here and there, but in fact, as you were a fool, you remain it, without doing ANYTHING of what was declared.

16 You are convinced that you need to act now and quickly, only some elements are missing: people, money, time, something else.

17 It seems to you that external conditions are to blame for all (including your) problems. For example, unreasonable inhabitants, bad weather, difficult financial situation, crooked hands, stupid officials, political opponents, or, say, liberals.

18 You consider yourself one of the few intelligent people on the planet, and everyone else is unreasonable, they do everything wrong. At the same time, this state has not changed over the years: you are still sitting on your ass with your exclusivity, and the rest of the people live calmly on with their problems, but at the same time, for some reason, they achieve their goals better than you, change and develop faster than you. And you are still that exceptional horseradish from the mountain that you were 10-20-30 years ago.

19 You allow the use of items for other purposes just to simplify the process of completing any unpleasant business, knowing in advance that you can spoil the item. For example, you need to open a can, but there is no opener at hand, it is somewhere far away. You take a knife and start picking at the lid, ruining the knife. You somehow opened the can, but the tip of the knife was bent, or even broke off altogether. However, for you, this situation is easier than postponing the opening of the jar for a few minutes and finding an opener or other object more suitable than a knife for these purposes. Maybe, for example, at a construction site you have to "knock" one neat piece of wood to another, and all this is somewhere at a height, but you only have an iron hammer at hand. It is impossible to knock down pieces of wood that have already been made in a final form with an iron hammer, dents will remain, and a wooden or other soft hammer remains below. You will not go down, you will accept that the appearance will be spoiled, but then everything will be knocked out without unnecessary hassle as it should.

The same applies to any other situations when “it’s okay anyway” common sense wins, so long as it is NOW comfortable.

20 You get away from the pressure of some important but unpleasant environmental factor, declaring that you will achieve a positive result without this pressure, and then it turns out that you are not going to do anything, and you were not going to do anything from the very beginning, it was all noodles. For example, a student complains about a stupid program of study at a university and says: "I will leave the university and I will study everything from the textbooks as if I had studied at a good university." I saw such people, as soon as they are expelled from the university of their own free will, they begin to engage in all sorts of garbage, but not study. Some of them do nothing at all, referring to "later", and some buy textbooks and put them on the shelf in the hope that they will read them "later". Someone even leafs through them sometimes … only without understanding the essence, deceiving themselves that if you read, say, calculus for the night as a fairy tale, that it is more effective than “stupid cramming”. Practice shows that this is not more effective, but even worse. There are many other similar examples not related to studies. For example, a man sells an apartment in a city and buys a house on a large plot in a village, so that now he has "ALL OWN" and so that he can free himself from the pressure of the urban environment that prevents him from living. As a result, we see a loser in a collapsed house and a cemetery of 1 hectare of buried hopes, overgrown with nettles. It’s even worse when it’s not just one loser, but a family that harbored illusions about living in their own home. The result is often, alas, a break in family relations.

PS … To reassure the sloven reader, I declare that after the investigation, I personally came to the conclusion that I, the author of this text, is a sloven.

PPS … If the sloven reader could not calm down, then let him make a saving clarification for himself.
