Throughout the year - regularly, and closer to May, especially often - we hear phrases: "Great Victory", "Holy War", "feat of our people" and the like. Behind loud and pretentious phrases, many do not see any reason for their pronunciation.

If you ask the residents of Russia: "How long will we celebrate victory in the Great Patriotic War?" …

Others find it difficult to answer because they do not understand the reasons for celebrating the victory in the War that ended 75 years ago.

Still others, remembering that we are not celebrating the victory over Napoleonic France, over the "Polovtsy and Pechenegs" and other troops who entered our territory and received "that one from the sword and …" in full, will say that several more years will pass, veterans will die, and the celebration will come to naught.

Why it is necessary to maintain the significance of Victory and the importance of this holiday, we will analyze in this article.

How this War differs from others

Indeed, throughout the known history, Russia, no matter what it is called, was forced to participate in many military conflicts.

Most of which we won. During them there were many moments when our soldiers showed miracles of heroism, ingenuity, self-sacrifice, and resilience. We remember and are proud of these milestones in history. But we widely celebrate only the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Why?

The fact is that there are several signs by which one can say that it was a "different" war.

Firstly, it was not a war only for territories, or resources. It was a war for the total destruction of Russian civilization and its peoples. And the question was: will we survive or die.

Secondly, it was the people's war. That is, it was not only the regular army that fought, the whole people fought, both on the front line in the militia and in the rear at work.

Thirdly, it was the Sacred War. That is, the people did not fight for the prince / king / leader, they did not defend territories / resources. He defended the idea, which he accepted, considered his own, which corresponded to the irrepressible craving of the Russian people for justice.

Why holiday

Well, okay, that's right, they'd have mentioned it in a history textbook, that's all, but why celebrate on such a grand scale? Conduct parades, declare several days off, decorate cities with paraphernalia, build and maintain monuments, memorials, museums, make films? Is it just to be remembered?

Every person has a memory. Its own. And it contains not only names, dates, faces of acquaintances. There is also information about knowledge, skills, and abilities of a person. In other words, behavior algorithms. Let's say you've learned to walk a tightrope. You have in memory an algorithm of actions and a set of parameters for this.

For example, body position, breathing, concentration, when deviating to the right - one movement, to the left - another, and so on. When you need to step on the rope, you will need to get all this information and algorithms out of your memory, that is, tune in (enter a certain mood), just like turning a knob on a radio receiver. If the setup is successful, you will succeed, if not, there is a great risk of falling.

But apart from individual memory, there is also collective memory. It contains some "general" parameters and algorithms of those who are connected to it. If we talk about such a collective memory of our Russian civilization, then it can be called “the collective unconscious of civilization”, “Russian spirit”, “Russian egregor”, as you like.

Anyone who has the corresponding access "passwords" has access to this memory. In our case, the "passwords" will be some parameters of morality, ethics, language, general knowledge, symbols common for the Russian people, which can be visual images, melodies, personalities and important dates.

Symbols in the management system of society

Now let's talk from this angle about the Victory Day. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, in order to win the Great Patriotic War, showed special qualities, namely:

  • prioritized values, putting the well-being of the country first, and then the well-being of the family and the individual;
  • felt themselves part of a single organism called the "Soviet people", and sincerely acted in collective interests, understanding the significance of their contribution, hence labor exploits and self-sacrifice in battles;
  • felt the opportunity to build a just society in which everyone will have the opportunity to unleash their potential and where no one will parasitize on the work of another, and belief in this helped to endure hardships, and many tried for the sake of their children, who would complete the society that they would not have time to build;
  • realized that it is precisely together, working together for common goals, that it is possible to accomplish really great things;
  • felt support from Above, when in seemingly hopeless situations, something helped them survive and win, and this instilled confidence in the correctness of their choice, in the correctness of actions (remember: "Holy War").

Our grandfathers fixed these parameters and algorithms in the collective memory, and in order to gain access to them, we just need to enter a certain mood. For this, various ways of "connecting" to the corresponding segments of the collective memory have been invented. For example, monuments.

You pass, say, a monument to V. I. Lenin. Your gaze fell on him, information entered the brain, and your unconscious began to process it. It matched this information with what is already in memory. In this case, this is all information about Marxism-Leninism with all its inherent attributes in the form of ideals, values, goals and ways to achieve them, and so on. In this way, monuments help to preserve and maintain the value of some information in society. Holidays have an even greater effect on people.

Gathering together, performing the same type of actions, remembering the events of those years, the actions of our ancestors, we seem to be "on the same wavelength", we enter the mood that gives us access to the information and algorithms that our grandfathers "wrote down" for us …

Why do we need this, because now is not a war? And then, in many situations, by showing those skills, you can win over someone who does not have them. This also manifests itself when interacting with representatives of other countries, or their agents within the country. And in ordinary, creative work, and in relations with their fellow citizens. The full use of those algorithms can bring the country to the first positions in the world in many areas.

The Soviet people, being "by inertia" in such a state after the Victory, have made a giant step in development in a few years. The destroyed cities and factories were rebuilt, the atom was conquered and a step into space was made. In other words, the collective collective action of people, backed up by proven ways to achieve common goals, lead to impressive results.

Knowledge about such methods of "downloading" the necessary knowledge and skills was previously the property of a small group of people who used it to manage countries and peoples.

But now the days of hermeticism are over. Anyone who has the desire and access to the Internet can find and master information about the management of large social systems. And with an understanding of social processes, it becomes noticeable that with the Victory Day there is a kind of opposition of forces: those who want this “victorious spirit” to be supported by the people, and those who want this feeling to subside.

The aspirations of our "international partners" to cleanse these elements from the memory of the peoples of our civilization are understandable, because there is a risk that the Russian civilization will not only break out far ahead in terms of technology, but become a world outlook leader, show other peoples an example of a more just social order.

Candle of sorrow

For the past several years, the President has paid a lot of attention to the Victory Day. Unable to completely cancel the celebration, destructive forces are trying to take over control, distorting meanings and directing people's attention to other moments.

For example, one of the symbols associated with the 1945 Parade - the mausoleum - is covered with plywood shields. Recently, there was an attempt to legally prohibit references to fascist symbols.

Actions to give the Holiday other meanings are visible.

The following messages are spread on social networks: a candle of grief for the victims, or the tears of veterans due to helplessness to change something.

Other similar information that has a general message: sadness, grief, and the like. With regard to the last remark, we can say that if you try to continue this message in time, then sadness and grief can further transform into regret, and then into guilt. And the feeling of guilt that lies on the people is the basis for manipulation.

Crying, paying and repenting - apparently, someone wants such a fate to go to the next generations. Unfortunately, many such processes extended over time are not perceived as holistic, and every step that “slightly” changes the situation is not perceived as critical. We advise you to include process thinking, try to predict the development of the situation and imagine what will happen in a few years if everything goes further according to the same scenario.

And remember that Victory Day is a bright holiday of joy and memory, pride for our people, for our ancestors.in, who were able to rally and by common efforts to defeat the enemy.

By the way, it is possible that the "Immortal Regiment" appeared as a reaction of the collective unconscious of the peoples of Russian civilization to a decrease in the significance of Victory Day, a distortion of its meanings.

The people have a need for unity on the basis of something that belongs to everyone, in this case - Victory. And how much joy and pride a person feels when walking with a portrait of his grandfather and great-grandfather, what an important event it is to walk in a column of many thousands, to be involved. Look at the faces of those who tell which relative is depicted in the portrait.

How long will we celebrate?

Yes, people do not live forever, generations are leaving, and there are fewer and fewer eyewitnesses of those events. Some time will pass and new generations will perceive that War and that Victory as the property of a very distant past, much like we are now - the same Battle of Poltava.

How long will we celebrate Victory Day

Poltava - the battle of civilizations!

Remember, there is something like this: "a new war will begin when we forget the old one."

How long will we celebrate Victory Day
How long will we celebrate Victory Day

History is not a teacher, it is a warden and punishes for unlearned lessons. Let's not speculate about what will happen if we forget that war, but try to answer the question voiced in the title of the section.

And it will not make sense to continue celebrating the Victory when the above algorithms, fixed by our ancestors in the collective memory, will enter our daily life on an ongoing basis.

And it seems that it will be a great life. It will be a society where everyone can realize himself, where no one lives at the expense of the other, everyone contributes to the common cause, does not try to sit aside while others are doing something. Everyone feels that they are part of a common cause, everyone has a sense of the correctness of their actions and support from Above (state C - part - I).

And how did the Victory Day celebration influence the society up to the present day? Readers can reproach that we have been celebrating for a long time, and the Soviet Union has been destroyed, generations are dulling, people are dying out, everything is gone, and everything written has no life confirmation, but only reflections …

We agree that the very fact of the celebration did not lead to a "bright future", but let's take a look, and how did it help us? We think many will agree that a strong Russia is not needed by most countries that are used to dominating the world, parasitizing on other people's resources. And in order to destroy the country, first it is necessary to divide the people, divide them into parts, pull them apart according to different interests and goals, and ideally, play them off (“divide and rule” policy).

The presence of a holiday common to all the people, at least, did not allow this to be done. Together with the Russian language and Pushkin, the Victory Day is one of the foundations of the unity of society. It should be remembered that this is only the foundation, and what the whole building of the development of our civilization will be depends on the joint actions of each of us.

Conclusion

When writing this article, we set out to express in words those feelings, images that arise when discussing the meanings of celebrating Victory Day. We hope everyone can now clearly answer the question about the purpose, significance and timing of the celebration of this great holiday.

And in order for the dream described in the previous paragraphs to become a reality, we must not forget the feat of our people, use what they have enshrined in our memory, not succumb to the provocations of enemies, and everything will be fine with us.
