For example, recent studies have found that the taste of alcohol magically improves when certain music is played. Psychology professor Adrian North writes in his book Social and Applied Psychology of Music: “Music physiologically affects our brain. It will make you walk faster or slower through the store, depending on what the salesperson wants. It can influence your choice of products, how long you make a purchasing decision, and how carefully you think about it.”

However, supermarkets, unnecessary expenses and deceived taste are, of course, children's toys. I would like to know, can music influence the behavior of large groups of the population? Can it change values, be a diversionary, ideological weapon? Of course, we will not find research on this topic, their results are hidden behind the closed doors of the archives of the special services, but a lot can be understood from the actions of the special services themselves. For example, recently it became known that the United States, in its endless attempts to overthrow the government in Cuba, sponsored the activities of certain rap groups. For US money, concerts were organized, lyrics were written, gifts were given, equipment was provided, and PR was paid. It is unlikely that the most powerful empire that ate a dog on such things would just waste money. Most likely, music is a good manipulation tool. While a common man in the street thinks that he is having fun, he is ideologically reflashed.

In general, art has always been an instrument of ideological warfare. In short, music is an extremely flexible instrument, capable of much in the right hands, and it seems to me that we pay prohibitively little attention to what gets into our ears.

Someone will say that self-expression should not be limited, that creativity and art cannot be censored, well, if someone wants to sexualize children in their songs, it's okay, the market will decide.
